I was a surprised by how clean and nice looking the Regal Riverstone theater was. In fact that whole Riverstone area is pretty nice. Great discovery for me. At first I thought it was weird buying tickets at concessions, but I thought it was because of the snow outside. Reading other reviews, I see it's common practice. My experience was particularly interesting because I apparently forgot my wallet. I saw a customer service desk and went to enquire if they accepted Apple/Android pay as I did have my phone and didn't want to find out after waiting in the line. No such luck. But the customer service lady was super nice and very patient while she tried to help me purchase tickets online where she was sure the Fandango website took ApplePay. Unfortunately both the T-Mobile and WiFi reception were so horrible that we could not get very far. I finally went over to Starbucks to use their WiFi as they always have a good connection. Only to find out, the website doesn't take ApplePay. Bummer! I gave up hope and went to my car where I finally remembered to use my Tile app to see if my wallet was anywhere in the car. It was, in a hard to find place. The moral of the story is, other than don't forget your wallet, is PLEASE get Apple/Android Pay at your theater. It's super easy to do and very helpful for us wallet forgetters. It's also more secure. 2nd: Please get good WiFi for the lobby area! Sheesh. And even just outside the lobby so we can purchase tickets online. If we have our wallets. But the movie experience was enjoyable at this theater once I got my ticket. read more

Seemed like this theater would be nice given the area, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. There was no ticket kiosk or booth, so you had to buy tickets at the concession stand, creating a very long line. The employees were moving slower than the sloths in Zootopia! A medium popcorn was $12, which is ridiculous. The seats don't recline, it was hot inside, and I couldn't even find napkins. Overall, way too expensive for the experience. This theater definitely needs an overhaul, and I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Big cinema located in the shopping center. I bought our tickets ahead of time and you get to pick your seating which is nice. Popcorn was a bit too salty for me which says a lot cause I love salty foods and too salty for my husband so he didn't eat it. The bad: 30 minutes of mindless propaghanda, drug commercials and advertising prior to the scheduled movie time. 330 pm showing, but the movie started at 4 pm sharp. This evening, 3:40 to be exact. Mike "the manager" got on me and my brother on the movie we were off to see being rated R. As we were scanning our tickets, mike looked us up in down in his tiny twig body, and told us we cannot see it. I honestly thought he was a gay man (aka twink due to his body type....), meaning he'd be kind. I was wrong... Me and my brother were really upset as we were DYING to see our movie. Little did he know one of our THIRD cousins starred in it, he assumed to quickly. So i asked "is it because we're black?", he quickly glanced at us and called us an awful word... the- the N word. Seats are cramped and uncomfortable. The staff seems to dislike their jobs. This is the second movie I've seen at this theater and we were visiting from out of town. The theater was hot and the concessions were not much to choose from. The popcorn was pretty good and the movie itself was pretty entertaining, but aside from that I felt like I have definitely had better service at other theaters. read more

They never offer the special offers. Haunted Mansion was the last straw. My deal on the app was supposed to come with a green icee and medium popcorn for 9.99 and they all read my phone but didn't honor it. AGAIN. Popcorn is always cold now. The snack bar has taken a total downhill dive. Stale hot dogs, no pretzels, freezer burned dip n dots. The bathrooms are a swamp covered in paper towels. They put zero effort into the decorations for special event movies and the chairs are awful and uncomfortable. I think it's time to give up and make the drive to Spokane. This was the last straw. If you don't value your hearing, this is the theatre for you. If you DO value your hearing, don't go to this theater. I complained, but it fell on deaf ears. It was offensively loud. Bring your ear plugs or go to Spokane...simply obscene. It leaves one to wonder how many people just don't go after enduring two hours of that. read more

Great place for date night, or even just out with a group. They do a great number of things outside a "normal " theater! They show old movies and special stuff you can't get at other theaters! Even doing "Gone With the Wind" showing this year! They have anime for the gamer fans out there and should be supported before we lose this type of experience! read more

Regal is fine unless you need a bathroom in any form. I've prepared a list: .terrible lighting .doors spaced for exhibition .many doors don't latch .seats aren't attached securely(you're going for a ride) .toilets don't flush well .frequent out of order stalls .worst TP holders on the market .touchless sink and soap rarely function .no paper towels, just ineffective dryers .unsafe baby table Basically if there's anything you'd need a restroom for, you're in for trouble here. These issues pre-date any staff or manager. Those people do their best. It's time owners put some of the popcorn money toward bathroom improvements. read more

I like the location, staff and how clean of a theater this is as well as the selection of flicks. However, the machines for buying tickets outside weren't working and there was a long line outside for the tellers. Also, there's free parking across the street. But the theater itself has really close seating (too close for my liking) and far away seating (actually the perfect distance) but not much of either making it really crowded. read more

I've visited this location several times and always had a pleasant movie going experience. My only real complaint is that they don't have a ticket kiosk. If you want to buy tickets onsite you have to wait in line. Past that, everything else is pretty standard. read more

So if you are looking to go to the latest movie in the CDA this is only place to go. What it has going for it: - something like 14 theaters (so should have a movie you want to see) - stadium seating - adjustable arm rests - relatively clean - aesthetically pleasing What it has going against it: - price of food and movies - gets a little crowded at peak times - always pushing their Regal rewards card So this is the only place you can go for the best movies but they didn't just throw something up to satisfy the need in the area. It's part of the Riverstone development. They did a good job laying this place out. Only issue are the prices but isn't that the same issue at other movie theaters? Nothing like pre purchasing tickets and paying an additional booking fee, to show up 30 min early and find that the entire theater is full. They obviously over booked the theater. Tried to give me another showing but it was way too late considering end game is 3hrs long. Talk about ruining someone's date night, unacceptable. Would give less than 1 star if possible. read more

Frustrated. We weekly go to movies. The earliest show (approx noonish) the staff (manager on duty?) fail to unlock ALL entry doors! Isn't that against code for emergency evacuation protocol? This has happened a minimum of 6 times! Dangerous! Plus the women's rest rooms need attention (soap, seat covers, toilet seat covers)! Now, a majority of the snack bar napkin holders were empty! I have recently moved to Idaho from Washington and I have to say WOW! Riverstone 14 is absolutely great! The theater is always clean, staff are super kind and professional, and the location is great. I do not really buy anything but a small pop corn once in a while so I can't really say anything on the price. I felt I should write a review since last time I went to this theater I almost lost my favorite scarf. My boyfriend and I went and saw the new movie Intersteller, which is a great movie, and after the movie was over around 11:30pm I accidentally dropped and left my scarf. I had already left when I realized it was gone. I called hoping someone who answer, but it was super late so I expected the phone to just ring and ring. Someone answer who was absolutely polite and told me I could come back and get it or he could hold on to it for me for when I could come get my FAVORITE scarf. I told him I was coming back and he told me he would wait. I got my scarf. read more

Out of all the theaters in the area, this location is my favorite. It's located in what I believe is the cutest area of Coeur D'Alene and it's always a treat to come here. Most of the theaters here are smaller, which means you definitely want to get to your movie early, unless you want the seats that are directly below the screen. The seats here are some of the comfiest theater seats I've sat in and there's a lot of leg room between each row, so you aren't left feeling cramped. The overall facility is also really nice, since this entire movie theater seems to be the newest in the Spokane/CDA area. Downside of this location is that the prices are a little more expensive than the theater closer to home, which is the Regal in Spokane Valley. However, I still and always will prefer this location. read more

Standing in line to get a ticket at the snack bar (now required) is inane. Too few employees. Forget trying to buy a soda and popcorn. They're trying to force online sales, but if if you buy the tickets online instead, it takes well over 30 min. to get a lousy bucket of popcorn. Stay home! read more

I have always loved this theater, but in the last 2 years I am finding their chairs hurt my back and make it impossible to sit through an entire movie in them. I think it's time they updated the seating, especially after I went to visit my daughter in Calgary Alberta and we went to see a movie there, I loved it they have recliners you push a button and the chair reclines and it's very comfortable. Unfortunately I won't be going back here due to the fact that it's not worth sitting uncomfortably through a movie. read more

It's a newer theatre in small town in the northwest. CDA is a resort town and the river walk area appears to be a central hub aside from downtown. Movies are good, seats are the rocking type with movable armrests. You have to buy reserved seats. There is no longer a ticket window, you have to stand in line at the snack bar to buy the tickets if you haven't prior to arriving. Pay no attention to the movie start times, just add 30 minutes for getting to pay to watch commercials. There were only three employees present in the theater. Only theater in Cda to see the newest movies. It has comfortable stadium seating and plenty of showtimes for newly released movies. Some cons are having to wait in line outside for tickets. Prices are high but as I said before it's the only place for new movies. We always buy our tickets from Costco for the lowest price. Also, during high traffic times there have not been enough people working concessions. Overall, it's a beautiful theater in a nice location. read more
