Always less expensive... better popcorn... better drinks - all sizes of drinks can be refilled! Better employees.

Tickets are easy to purchase online or in person for this theater. We chose online and then you convert them to paper tickets at a kiosk near the snack counter. Pricing for popcorn and drinks are of course crazy like most theaters and we opted for the large combo and shared. That was still $17, but both popcorn and drinks are refillable. The theater itself was nice and clean, with seating being in good condition. No sticky floors where we sat. Employees seemed to be friendly as well. read more

This place is closed. I want to explore the inside of this abandoned cinema so much. Does it still smell like popcorn? Is there a store-room full of old movie merch and worker uniforms? We checked out Village Centre Cinemas at Airway Heights the last night and we were not impressed. First, the customer service was subpar. The movie hall was smelly and seemed dirty. The actual movie didn't start on time as scheduled because it wasn't cleaned timely after the previous showing (although there were couple of folks behind the concession counters who were not doing anything at all and who seemed pretty inconvenienced when approached to get a drink and popcorn). Finally, for the same ticket price it's better to get a recliner seat somewhere else than here. read more

Everything about this theater is average- except the popcorn. it is TERRIBLE. That's insult to injury when it is outrageously expensive. Lucky for us, Spokane offers some really nice theaters, so there's no reason for us to ever come back here. read more

We are West Plains folks, and this is the easiest and closest theater for us. We usually hit the the more popular movies a week or two after their opening. It's convenient for us, and we can shop or eat before or after the show. It's always been very reliable, and not ever real busy. read more

This place is great! Cheap snacks and combos and always has the latest movies. Has about 10 theaters, though not all of them are very big, they seat enough. Chairs are comfy and the place is clean! I just love it :) read more

Would give it zero starts if I could. They were very rude and racist from the moment I walked in. I didn't get the chance to get names but a young hefty man made some very rude comments that I just couldn't get past. I usually don't write reviews but I felt that this was needed. Was in town for a few days visiting my mom and she wanted to go to the movies, I am always up to go to the movies, she likes Village Center Cinemas so that's where we went. We went on 2 different days, for 2 different movies and times and both times I was in the same theater that was funny. Village Center Cinemas felt like an older movie house, sure it had the up and coming movies, but it just felt old and not flashy, not that I need flashy. But I could see why my mom liked it, maybe its more for her friends and her haha. The 1st time we went I wanted to treat my mom, but the entire ATM/Credit machine was down, they were only taking cash and I sure didn't load up on cash before I traveled, so my mom treated me , little bit of an inconvenience, not everyone travels with bills. The 2nd time everything was up and running. The seats were comfortable, the picture was clear and sound was great, it just felt like an older movie house that's all. read more

As movie theater goes, it doesn't get much better... granted I cannot tell you about 3d here because I have not seen a movie here in 3d yet. But my suggestion is if you can handle it watch it in imax 3d, its harder on the eyes... more people tend to get headaches from it, but is a much richer experience. the 3d stands out more. I do not know if they offer imax 3d or not, they might just offer Dolby 3d, which I would say avoid, doesn't do much for the viewing experience. Everytime I have watched a movie in Dolby 3d, I have been disappointed. read more

Loved that they allow free refills of everything!!! They even saw me distribute the popcorn to friends and then helped me out... very nice employees and a very clean theater. Cleanest movie theater in town. Great staff who are knowledgeable about all the movies playing. Their snack bar is great. I got a kids package because it's all inclusive. You get popcorn, drink and candy all for about 5 bucks. Their staff didn't even blink when I, a grown adult, ordered a kids pack. That was so nice. Normally there are age restrictions, but not here. They also have a text program that texts you coupons for concessions. It's free! read more

The theater in Airway Heights seems like it is not that busy so you can get a good seat and not be over crowded when watching the newest releases. The concessions, meaning popcorn, is pretty standard but they do have lots of flavored popcorn seasonings to choose from which is nice. read more

Village Center is one of my fav theaters. The staff are always friendly, the building is clean, ticket prices are reasonable, and they have those neat soda machines where you can pick and choose whatever flavors you want. It's easy to get to, and there's usually never a long wait to buy tickets. read more

Nice spot and plenty of parking. Staff is friendly and same ol typical cinema treats. Of course overprices but hey is a regular cinema as all others. Seating is plentiful as it does not seem to fill up here but the seats are old school and hard to sit on after a while. Love this movie cinema! This is our go to place, its clean, and staffs are friendly. Only issue is, the reward card I have always seems to give me issues. The only bad thing I can say about this place is the popcorn wasn't all that great. But even that is debatable. They give military discounts which is always a plus. I came here on a Saturday evening with my husband and another couple and it wasn't busy at all. I really dig the smaller businesses. Coming from California, I would not dare go to the movies on a Friday or Saturday. Crowds are huge and lines are long. But this is close, and a decent movie theater. read more

Went to see the new Terminator movie and arrived about 35 minutes early to get food and good seats. Bought my ticket walked up to the stand and was told to wait 15 mins. By the time I was able to get into the theatre I had 10 minutes to get settled. At least there was no lines. Theatre really needs to think about there cleaning and time schedules. read more

Great screens. Good seating. Theres a few things though. The theaters are way over chilled with the Ac, I shouldn't have to wear a jackey in the middle of summer to see a movie. Then, after the movie I needed to use the bathroom. I heard a lot of people complain about how the locks on the bathroom doors were broken otn just not there. So, as I was using the bathroom I had to keep my foot against the door so nobody would come walking in on me. read more

This rating is quite fair to this theatre but, I've gotta say something about one of the movies showing. The movie "ARRIVAL", is so, so, bad, is not even worthy of paying a $1.50 at red box. My family rented ARRIVAL this weekend and whomever fronted the money to make it, hopefully will go broke. ARRIVAL is so bad it doesn't even rate the title "stinks". There are multiple scenes that make absolutely no sense. For instence, the radio kicks in asking multiple times for a captain to respond, which never happens. This leaves you to believe something exciting is about to happen, Wrong!!! Then as they're inside the space ship you hear several rapid fire gun shots coming from the base of the ship. Leading you to belive, maybe now there's something exciting going on. Yet, no folkow up to what was going on down there. Big, big, big let down. Oh, oh, oh, then they bring dynamite onto the ship, big boom, that's was the most exciting scene in the movie..... . Don't waste your time on this movie, like I said, "not even worth a Red Box rental". If I could rate this movie as a -10 I would. read more

Terrible experience. Went to see the movie "It" and thought since I was catching a matinee I would avoid dealing with loud obnoxious teenagers. A group of teenagers piled in right behind me right after the movie started. Not even 10 minutes into the movie I had someone kicking my seat, then swearing and popping open beer cans and tossing them on the floor. I had been waiting weeks to see this movie and was so excited. This wasn't even the worst part about my experience. It was after I brought it to a managers attention and said there was no workers coming through in the entire 2 hour and 15 minute duration of the movie to check on how things were going in the theater. He responded with "We are too busy". I understand businesses get "busy" especially movie theaters during new releases but there should always be someone monitoring theaters even if only once or twice to make sure everyone is safe as well as not causing distractions during a movie. Before this experience I really enjoyed this theater because it seemed cleaner and quieter then your typical theater. Nonetheless I won't be visiting again after the experience I had today. read more

Horrible customer service skills - made my kids feel horrible going into a movie before I got there

Big mix up with tickets bought on-line. Credit card was charged, they said tickets were picked up but,they were not. Basically pulled aside my the rude male manager and called a liar. I will never go to this theater again. I was a loyal customer spending a fair amount of money here, even having kids parties at the one in Spokane. Right after the power outage, it was obviously some sort of computer glitch, I was NOT the only one having issues with on-line tickets that night. I have never experienced such unprofessional treatment and by a manager! Wow! The seats at the downtown and northtown theaters are nicer anyway, so much for giving money to our small locally owned! read more
