We went to the Mandalorian and Yoda on Father's Day and really loved it. Although we couldn't get four seats together, my husband sat in the front with the little one and it actually worked out better because the six year old could get up to get snacks and drinks (it was a long movie). This theater is difficult to navigate. Everything is on different floors and it's like a maze. The seats were comfy and the bathrooms were spotless. Food: pretzel was delicious, the chicken tenders were perfect, the sliders tasted like chemicals so I would avoid those. Popcorn was cold and didn't taste fresh. read more

First movie theatre trip since the lock down. The set-up is a little difficult to navigate the first time. Ticket sales on the third floor, theaters on the four and fifth floors. This is a nice place to watch a movie. If you have the AMC app on your phone, then you can reserve and pay for your seats a few days in advance. If not, there are kiosks, that are available. A couple of tricky situations about this AMC, one is that if you aren't a big fan of heights, using the escalators to get to the actual theaters is a little scary, and the other is the parking situation in downtown Spokane. To see movies here, you can park on the street on Sundays for FREE! Yes, for free, if you can find a parking spot, and of course after a certain hour in the evening the downtown street parking becomes free too (I've got an early bedtime, so getting that free parking to watch a movie in the evenings is a little difficult for some of us). I really hate to give away secrets, but if you come downtown on Sunday in the morning and take in a movie before noon, this is a win-win. The movie will only be $5.49 and street parking is free! What's not to love about that? You can also pay for a premiere membership for the AMC app (currently price $15 per year) and get even more benefits from AMC. Oh yea, the seats here are those BIG comfy ones that you could possibly fall asleep in if the movie isn't very good. I've not done that yet ... plus, there's the added benefit of cozying up with your significant other (or whoever happens to be sitting next to you) by pushing up the arm between the two seats. read more

Four stars because parking is a hassle unless you don't mind paying to park while watching a movie. You can park free on the street on Sundays and after 7 pm. Most multiplex movie theaters spread out using lots of space at the end of a mall. This theater has utilized all the available downtown space by going upwards. You have to take two escalators just to purchase or pick up your tickets and then you go up further to get to the actual screening rooms. This is a great place to while away some time and enjoy a movie Every time I am here, it is always spotless and it is rarely packed, except during peak viewing times, Friday and Saturday evenings. read more

This location is on the upper floors of River Park Square so you have to go up a few sets of escalators before you end up at the theaters but it's your typical standard, clean AMC with I think 20 or so theaters? Viewing experience was great, the place wasn't crowded and it has a Dolby Cinema if that is important for you. I do think that seemingly every time I go, the A/C is a bit too cold if you're wearing shorts and a t-shirt. For optimal viewing, bring long pants! read more

I was not a fan at first of the new fancy seat assignments, but it really does make a difference when buying tickets and getting to the theater. Also when you buy tickets on your phone you can just scan a QR code at the doot instead of getting physical tickets. technology is an amazing thing, friends! Don't call they never answer, no way to leave a message to get a call back even. When you buy tickets online there is an online ticket order fee and for some reason even though you are typing in all your information to buy tickets yourself they will not let you buy the tickets or even search for a location near by with a VPN active because then they can't sell your data. I tried buying tickets today and when I selected my seats and went to pay it wasn't letting me until I finally realized maybe try it without my VPN active and it finally let me but by that time they had sold the seats I wanted to someone else... go somewhere else and let them fail as a company trying to sell 20 popcorn drink combos with shitty service! read more

Really nice theater. We love the reclining seats although wearing the wrong material can make the seat uncomfortably warm since they are leather. I can't get over how expensive it is though. If you buy online, there's a convenience fee. You'll most likely not find parking on the street unless you got lucky or arrive early. If you park in the structure, you get like $1 off parking if you show your stub. A small popcorn is about $8.50. YIKES. read more

The new renovations at AMC are really great. I hadn't been to a movie in a long time because I hate the costs associated with concessions....however it looks like the overpricing of the theatre food got us some great upgrades. It's literally completely different than when I was a kid. A bunch if technical upgrades, hot dogs and pretzel bites with some really good nacho cheese. The soda machines are awesome too - the one with the many amounts of choices to where we have come to love a vanilla ginger ale. The decor is all interconnected throughout the theatre and I can really appreciate that. Consistency is awesome when rebranding. Also - cleanest bathrooms ever. The new movie theatre seats make me want to take a nap they are so comfortable. High five AMC. read more

Something about going up escalator after escalator adds some fun to this theater. It's clean and still smells new. The floors aren't sticky and the chairs aren't broken-- but the traveling up to the movies just makes it more exciting for some reason. If a run down older movie theater is going to cost $12 why not spend an extra few dollars and get the premium theater around? I was staying at a nearby hotel for work and a bunch of us decided to see the new Avengers movie in the IMAX theatre. I bought my tickets online and chose my seat. Luckily my coworker checked out the theatre before we all arrived, because it took FOREVER to get up all those escalators to the top floor!! I was dismayed that I had to get concessions and use the restroom on the floor after when I checked in at the stand. Bathroom was clean, and I liked the Dyson hand dryers. They had large enough hooks on the back of the door to hang my purse and a jacket. Concessions were typically expensive, but I was disappointed that since I live in an area with no AMC theatres I didn't have an AMC card to get my free refill. Probably for the better since the popcorn was SO SALTY that I felt like I might have a stroke!! I liked that their Large soda cup was nice and large!! But, they use the type of compacted ice that melts too soon and waters down the drinks. They were out of Sprint at one station and I had to wait in line at another one to get my "mix" proper. The seats in the IMAX theatre are not the comfy recliners that are in the 3D theatre, just so people know. They are pretty comfortable, but the movie was long and my legs got restless. I actually had someone in the row in front of me ask me to stop shaking my legs. That is how close the seats are in this theatre. The screen was nice, good for a blockbuster movie like the Avengers. The acoustics were nice. And my view wasn't blocked (all theater-goers sat in the middle of the theatre). read more

I recommend buying your tickets at one of the kiosks rather than at the window-- no one ever uses the kiosks! FYI- "SF" next to the movie name when you're buying tickets means "sensory friendly". Aside from my usual complaint about the high price of everything connected to the movies, this AMC offers a good experience. I love the recliners that are now in most of the theaters in my area. Of course, the movie needs to be engaging, or there is a very real danger that I will fall asleep. I woke myself at a movie not long ago with a loud snore, which I suppose also served as my movie review for the other audience members. After movie pass turning into a suck fest we decided that AMC A-Listers was something we were willing to try. My wife and I love it! We live in the valley and think it's worth driving downtown for. Comfortable chairs always clean and unlimited refills! The staff has always been helpful and kind. We love being able to use the AMC app and reserve our seats ahead of time and if need be cancel. With the A-Listers we can see 3 movies a week and if we cancel a reservation they don't count it against your 3 movies. Highly recommended. Worth every penny. read more

My wife and I do not get to the movies much, with two small children. We were able to escape for her birthday so that we could see Avenger's End Game. We were really happy with the experience we had at this theater. We both said we would rather drive here than go to Riverstone in CDA. The prices and the food at this theater were better than Riverstone. The seats were also very comfortable. Going to see a film at AMC is almost always enjoyable. Great seats and it's in the the best mall in Spokane. However, we went to see "The Mule" tonight and we decided to purchase snacks before heading in. Well we were in line and next to order. Andrew who was at the counter, just sat there with a very unfriendly face and said nothing. We asked if he's available and he just motioned his head to head over. We proceeded to order and his tone matched his demeanor. Short and terse and absolutely no smile from this kid with shellacked hair. Hey Andrew! You made it very clear that you are very unhappy with your employment with AMC at the concession stand but please remember that this employer felt compelled to hire you. The least you could do is muster up enough professionalism to provide the basic level of customer service. The rest of the professional world out there is probably not nearly as patient as the AMC theater group so buck up kid and grow up or else your only step up in your career from AMC may be selling corn dogs at the Spokane Indian's games well into your 30s. read more

I love AMC and the recliners - I seek them out in all cities that I visit. I also love reserve seating. I also love that their concessions stay open until the end of all the movies. My AMC in Los Angeles shuts down the concessions hours before the later movies even end. Quite annoying - especially after paying for refillable drinks & popcorn. Regal, their primary competition in the area also keeps their concessions open until the last movie ends ... Regal in Spokane also has recliners. However, I love the coke freestyle machines at AMC. read more

This is my go to theater in the spokane area. Almost all the auditoriums have reclining seats except for the imax auditorium. Prices are typical for movie theaters since that is how they make most of their money. The only bad thing is parking but I cannot fault them on that since it is in downtown and they do not own the parking garage. Overall a decent experience at this theater. You can butter your own popcorn and fill up your own drinks which is a great option to have! Their seats recline and have ample space. You have to reserve your seat, I would recommend buying your ticket prior to showing up so you do not run the risk of getting a "bad seat".
