They also have alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Also, every time I've had to use the restroom, it was clean. Staff I've interacted with is always pleasant. The reason is, if you're a movie lover and you like to watch your movie on a big screen with great sound, you're not going to get that here. Sure you may get the big screen, but there are three or four cinemas in this small, old (and yes, charming) building yet somehow nobody made sure that each one is sound proof. So during your movie you'll be hearing the soundtrack to another. The rude manager doesn't even apologize for it. He just says "it's a 1940's movie house. What do you want ?" "Ummm. 1940's movie ticket prices ?" Look as I said to him, that's fine but you should give people the choice when they're paying top dollar ticket prices. You should at least let them know that this is what they're going to be getting. I def see romance and charm in an old 40's theatre. But soundproofing is essential. I'm not even sure if movie companies like the #WeinsteinCompany or #Disney #Fox or any of them would even let their movies be shown here if they knew what the botched sound system is like. For parking I would park in the lot behind all the shops across the street. Do not pay for parking until 3 hours after you park. I payed thinking I had to pay for 3 hours but then it started charging me hour by hour and I kept having to leave the movie because there is no cell service in the theater!

Saw The Odyssey last night which was my first time in this theatre. The lobby area where…read moreconcessions are alsmot feels like it should be a museum, pretty cool, futuristic and very clean. My issues were the seats, IMAX screen and cupholders (all necessary to enjoy for a nice movie night). The seats inside the theatre are very uncomfortable. I get they're not advertised as luxury recliners, but to say the seats are ergonomic comfortable seats is a biiiig stretch. You're touching arms with the people next to you, even for me as a generally small person. As for the screen, I also felt a little duped. The IMAX screens I've been in are larger and wrap around the sides much more for a better immersive experience. And last, the cupholders are like miniature, child size? I purchased a Perrier from them and when I looked around, everyone's drink also didn't fit except for the small plastic soda cups. Needless to say, I don't think I would return, even for a shorter movie :(

We've ROCKED out with metal cover bands and most recently sang the blues with a seasoned guitarist. The one thing that remains constant is the good times we, as attendees have. The friendly ushers, servers and bartenders are as much a part of contributing to the ambiance as the performers. We feel fortunate having a venue right here on Long Island where we can enjoy quality acts. Looking forward to many more performances!!
