We have been part of many local dance studios. What sets this studio apart is the owner, the award winning teachers and the individualized attention. You just don't have that at regular dance studios. Classes are very active and engaging. Your child isn't waiting for their turn in a class of 20 kids. It's excellent exercise! They are properly trained in stretching and core strengthening before they dance. Irish dance is intense in a fun way! Lots of skipping, hopping, jumping moves that kids love! There's NO PRESSURE. This school has won National titles with their competitive team. Joining the competition team is optional. Encouraged, and no pressure. There is also a performance team, which does not compete but rather dances at local events, nursing homes, schools and charitable events. The best part are the RECITALS. You will never experience recitals like this. Winter showcase in a theater setting, Spring showcase includes brunch at a catering facility. It's not an obnoxious 3-4 hour show like all the other studios put on. 2 hours or less. Your child dances for a whole song, not a 3 minute clip. SPOILER: they blind fold you at one point and slide you laterally on some sort of conveyance that really does disorient you, and is thrilling. it is something i haven't experience before in a haunted house and i go to a lot of them. so it was a new idea. they also make you crawl through a van which is pretty scary as a setting, and they had a guy with a giant baby head, which i have seen before, but not ever quite so effectively. it's a trek from nyc, but i would do it again

Clean everywhere, new comfortable seats, great surround sound systems, all digital projectors. Really nice. Not only that, the ticket prices are surprisingly low and they don't screw you with the cost of the candy, popcorn, and drinks, either. Nice, friendly people too who have been there as long as we've been going. Sure, it's not a huge multiplex with 3D and IMAX and super luxury chairs and nachos, but this is perfect for out here. Kind of a boutique multiplex in God's country. Perfect for the rainy day out here with or without kids. Highly recommend it!

Harbes Family Farm is exactly as described, there's a farm to feed animals, a stand to shop for fresh veggies as well as unique ice cream flavors. My favorite was the Apple Cider Doughnut Ice Cream. Soooooo good! I also had to try the corn ice cream. I mean, I love local corn from our Long Island. If they can make vodka from Long Island potatoes, corn ice cream isn't a big stretch. This was a nice place to stop and enjoy the bounties of Long Island.

After several calls and messages left, I finally got a hold of them a few days before, where it was confirmed there would be NO private event. the day rolls around, we are on the way and photographer on the way and we pull up to Bedell and there is a sign saying CLOSED FOR PRIVATE EVENT, despite being told twice we were good to proceed and there was no private event. Upon entering, I was met by security, who snarkily asked me if I saw the big sign out front. I did see the sign dipshit, I just made plans to propose here and now I can't. I was able to propose spontaneously nearby and everything was great, and I am somewhat thankful for the circus that Bedell management is, because the proposal turned out better where it was held than it ever would have at this place. Will never go back here again, highly recommended going to Rosehill instead, very friendly and great wine. They definitely won't mess up your once in a lifetime plans like Bedell did.
