The IMAX Theater is a wonderful experience, surround sound, great screen. There is nothing like experiencing a movie on a big screen with a community of people. Unfortunately, the seats and the carpet are showing signs of age and wear, some of the carpet is coming loose on the stairs which could be a hazard and many of the seats are worn out. I truly hope Regal will maintain the theater since it is a great asset to the community. read more

My wife and I were very disappointed in our recent theater experience. We were there for a 1:10 matinee and arrived about 10 minutes early. The bathrooms did not appeared cleaned from the night before, and both she and I complained that they were so dark from light bulbs being burned up that I couldn't see the door handle to get out. Ads on the big screen started at about 1:00 which I expected. 37 minutes later the last ad played prior to our film. I heard numerous patrons complaining about the number of ads and previews. If you want to see a movie here, use the bathroom at home and show up 20 minutes late and I think you will have a better experience. read more

Went here to see a movie and it gives me nostalgia feelings with the smell of popcorn, musty theaters with the fold up seats. No recliners in the theater we were at but it was comfy. Just needed some air, it felt very stuffy for my liking. Ticket costs were cheaper than the other theaters in the area. It was just okay. read more

Went there New Years Eve. They only had the main concession stand open on just two sides. Line backed up from 7pm through after 9pm. Went 3 times to try and get popcorn and drinks and had to give up because we were missing our movie. We paid $44 just for tickets and they can't bother to open up more concessions to move people through quicker! They deserve NO stars. Poor business dealings. We went to see the new Johnny Depp movie - Jeanne du Barry. It was quite a good movie! The seats were comfy. The popcorn was really good. Soda and waters were good. I do enjoy having a seat that can recline (these can!) and also having chosen seats so we know where we are sitting when we get to the theater. I like that. The previews were a good volume. So many places - the previews are so darn loud! Having said that, the booms from the theater next door were a bit loud. We heard them during our movie. So that was a little distracting. The movie was well projected too. Even on the screen, projected correctly. Spaced from top to bottom and left to right. I enjoyed this place and will be back for sure ! read more

We are never disappointed when we cone here to watch a movie. Ticket purc GG are us swift, concessions are plentiful, staff is friendly and helpful. When we approach the ticket taker, he or she us pleasant and clearly tell you where you need to go to see your movie. read more

. This is an outstanding Regal/Warren location. It's the only IMAX Theater in Wichita and always shows the latest IMAX premieres. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the managers are always helpful if an issue arises. I attend movies frequently and this is my favorite location in town. The Regal Crown Club is a great reward program if you enjoy going to the movie. The program allows you to build points very fast and earn free movies and refreshments. Nope! I normally go to Newton but decided to go here for some reason. I paid $16 for a small popcorn and a drink, that's insane. And when the showtime says it starts at a certain time, be sure to add an extra 30 minutes cuz that's how long the "previews" were! Never again!! read more

This is a decent theater. It feels a bit dated but has some nostalgic charm. The chairs are the older style but comfortable. I think that the concession prices are a bit steep, but you expect that at a movie theater. They definitely show a lot of commercials before the movie and people were audibly complaining. I could also hear noise from the hallway during the movie. I had a good time, but it can not compare to the 21+ area of the Warren East. read more

We are in town for work and stopped by to catch a weekday matinee in Auditorium 11. The building itself is marvelous, with interesting art all around and an immersive feel. The auditoriums have red curtains that come down and raise before the film which are an awesome touch! Seats are comfortable, our screen was big, audio was the perfect level. The cinema was clean. Staff were fine, but hey, it's a movie theater on a Wednesday. I don't need big smiles to enjoy my walk through the giant movie displays and art on the walls! They had pretty much every big movie out right now, including RAMPAGE in their Imax theater. I don't know what people are complaining about pricewise. We come from New England and I haven't seen a movie ticket for less than $10.50 - ever. Usually prices are $16 in NYC. $6.70 is a STEAL! Also, they accept MoviePass. Side note: We loved the malts they have at the restaurant inside! I would definitely indulge in one again. What a treat! read more

I was born and raised in Wichita, not far from this theater. I've been going to the theater all my life and can say Regal acquiring Warren has been a major improvement! I was uneasy about them buying the Warren theaters but it has been awesome! Sure, the concession prices are up a little more but everything else is superb! The Regal Rewards program is awesome! They put you on a points system for each movie you see and you can even get points for buying soda and popcorn! (100 points per $1 spent) The cleanliness of the theater has improved as well as the bathrooms. The employees are much more welcoming as well. I interacted with just two but both welcomed me with a smile on my last visit. This theater and the Old Town Warren are also eligible with MoviePass! Huzzah!! (MoviePass has removed the E. Warren due to their 21+ Warren option!) And I know it doesn't really matter but I really enjoy the Regal intro more than the previous Warren one that was based swinging around the lobby on moving movie posters. Sorry, going down a roller coaster is way cooler than a boring lobby sequence. ;) To those that are complaining about all the change, don't listen to them. We just got home from Star Wars VII -- The Force Awakens and it was AWESOME!! The 3D effects were quite dynamic!! We bought our tickets Online about 2 weeks ago and I drove by and picked up the tickets from the Box Office about a week ago -- to avoid lines and crowds. Our showing was at 8:30 am -- so we arrived at 7:50 am to choose good seats and get our Popcorn and Sodas. I had called a couple of days ago and inquired about their 'Hollywood Canteen' and they WERE NOT serving their Regular Menu at 8 am -- so no Burgers or Salads, etc. But I was reassured that we could get Popcorn, Sodas, Candy, etc at that time. If I had one true disappointment, it was that they sell Pepsi Products -- so no Diet Coke for me. But they did have Diet Dr Pepper, which is what I chose. Also, no Iced Teas. Pricing: 3 D Movie was $13 x's 2, plus $3 Handling Fee. Large Popcorn was $7, plus .50 cents for Butter (one free refill). Large Soda was $5 (one free refill). Parking was Free. Our Friday morning date was about $55. The openings statement tells you to turn off your Cell Phones -- with no talking or texting -- but of course, some people are just rude! Several people waited to right before the movie started to run to the Snack Bar and then crossed in front of you to get back to their seats!! But, you can't blame the Theater for that. What I found a little creepy, was that they also mentioned returning your 3 D glasses to Attendants on your way out of the Theater -- which made me think that i was wearing previously worn glasses (rashes, head lice, etc). Overall, we had a really nice time and I am not going to mention anything about the movie, because that would just be wrong :) read more

So I paid 18$ to walk the halls. Yay. You flat out should not charge for a child under 2. That is ridiculous. Everyone is already complaining about this place left and right and I see why. This theater used to be beautiful, expertly managed and an amazing experience no matter what movie you were seeing. As soon as Warren sold to Regal things immediately began to go down hill. Here I am, after not patronizing this place for several years and it is worse than ever. It's filthy, poorly managed, no soap in the bathroom, out of products at the concession stand, and a rude staff are just a few things that will make this visit my last at a Regal owned movie theater! read more

Beautiful theater overall. I just came here yesterday and watched The Water Diviner and my experience was fab. First off the inside is clean and tidy. It was Friday afternoon when me and my gf watched the film so the place was slightly empty with just possibly a total of 10 people watching on IMAX. The carpets, windows, inside the theater is super clean! The IMAX experience here is a one of a kind because there is even a nice light intro show before the huge red carped is pulled up. The lights turn into different colors and coordinates with the dramatic song. This was a great pre-show! The speakers are clear, the screen is clean and large, the comfy red leather seats recline back for comfort and the dim lighting is a beautiful red and green while the theater is dark. Overall this theater is great for the IMAX experience! read more

I was so excited to come and see my first movie after the shut down. Then was hit in the face with how greedy movie theater companies are. When we asked for a tray so we could split out our popcorn we were told we would have to pay for a full nachos in order to get the little cardboard tray that it comes in. Apparently the theater who gauges the cost of popcorn more than 200% couldn't part with the mere cents that a small tray would cost them. Not sure why I'm shocked by this greed...but still I am. This theater used to be my favorite in town but it seems like since regal took over it has really gone down hill. Several of the seats were broken and others had candy or something stuck to the seats. Coke products only now and popcorn was not on point like it used to be. Sad day! read more

Since AMC/Regal purchased it, the popcorn and butter were changed. It's terrible. For $8, serve good popcorn and real butter. Warren had it right. This stuff is shit. Also, the film selection with regal is limited and the sound quality is often poor. read more

Up until now I didn't think highly of Mr. Warren. I don't know why - just the fact that he owned all but one of Wichita's theaters made me think the worst of him. Experiencing the new (and first, and only) IMAX theater in the city has convinced me otherwise. To start, let's talk about IMAX, a term that is thrown around nowadays as theaters try and find more and more ways to upsell their films at the theater. The original IMAX standard was a tremendously large screen and a different aspect ratio, but in an effort to expand the brand, the IMAX folks make no distinction between the giant screens you commonly see in museums and the smaller, more common converted IMAX screens theaters are using nowadays. I've been to theaters advertising IMAX screens, only to find the size is only marginally larger than their typical screen. What's the point? Mr. Warren could have easily taken the easy way out and converted some existing screens to the IMAX standard, whatever little standard there is, and tacked a couple of bucks onto the ticket price. Rather, he chose to do it correctly, opting to build a six story monolith of a screen - as told by him during the opening night of the theater, he asked the IMAX folks of the largest screen in North America, and then made it 20% larger. In my mind that would make this the largest IMAX screen in North America, but Warren didn't make this claim, and I think I've been in a museum IMAX that was larger - the kind that projects to a dome on the ceiling - but I don't know. What I do know, however, was this one was plenty big to warrant the IMAX name and the increased price. The opening movie was Tron: Legacy, and while I'll reserve my comments on the film for another forum, seeing it in 3D on that giant screen was a wonderful cinematic experience (though I don't think the same overwhelming praise can be shared for the general use of 3D in movies, but that is also a discussion for another forum), and I was hardly the only one who thought so - I arrived to the theater half an hour early, only to be confronted with a line longer than any TSA security checkpoint or theme park I've ever visited. There were plenty of seats, though, so it wasn't a problem. Turns out, that Warren guy is pretty cool, after all, and maybe there's a reason he owns all but one of the theaters in the city - and believe me, I've not been impressed by my visits to Northrock. Now if only he could work on getting some of those limited releases here a little sooner, it would be darn near perfect. read more

We went to see JW3 in IMAX, the movie itself was amazing, the theater was nice, the food was horrible, I was really shocked, popcorn wasn't good, we bought 2 hotdogs in which the buns were dry and hard. I was very disappointed in the concessions; they use to have good food. No I didn't go up and complain I didn't want a backlash, so I thought I'll do it this way. with the expense of everything, we had to finish the popcorn. 25.00 for a large bucket and 2 large drinks, not worth it, I do understand how things have gone up. But can't do this, it's sad. I hate leaving a review that's negative, but you need to know in order to change it. We haven't been to a movie for a very long time due to the covid nonsense. I love the Warren theaters. The ticket prices are the most expensive in the area but you certainly get what you pay for. The chairs are comfortable, each theater has state of the art sound and digital screens, the theaters are spotless, and the employees are friendly. The 21st St Warren also has the IMAX theater which is the second largest IMAX in the nation. While walking up the stairs of the huge theater can be a little dizzying, an IMAX experience is unlike any other movie experience you'll have. read more

This review is solely for the fact that they have a "cry room" for parents with toddlers/infants/upset children. My husband and I were unable to watch movies due to our little guy running the isles at the movie theaters. Now we're able to watch them with piece of mind knowing he couldn't get too far (it has 8 seats & a door). We reserved the seats online so we had the entire room to ourselves! I would have e given 5 stars but I wish the room was cleaner. My son found someone else's skittles and brought it to me eeeeek lol over all great experience! read more

i'm a service worker so i understand not being a karen which is why im here. i get to the register and was informed. i waited a couple minutes bc my movie still was airing the previews. i asked to use my points to upgrade my popcorn and drink. she ignored me and scanned my phone so im like cool it's gonna be upgraded. they did not. i said hey i used my points to upgrade this and the one with the colored pink and blue hair was snippy and said next time tell us... did yall not just scan my points and take it off but okay. then i get my popcorn with a sprinkle of attitude and mean faces. i go back to refill my drink ... they said no bc its a medium (ok tbh i didnt think it was a medium bc it was big( but yall i literaly said upgrade my popcorn and drink ??? i didn't ask for a bigger drink bc a nice man filled it up with water instead. but yall do not listen. they had their backs to the customers a majority of the time when customers were present. but can yall not argue next time and admit you took my points and didn't give me the proper sizes. read more
