My shaker cup filled with the expensive ice and water....

I spent $24 in your snack bar and then wanted to fill up my shaker bottle with ice water to mix up my hydration powder.....I was charged $1.08 for ICE WATER and I didn't even need your cup!! I get charging if that's all someone gets or if and when they use your cup....but I bought plenty of food and my OWN cup!!! I have always supported buying food at the snack bar to support your business as this is one of myself and my son's absolute favorite places to come, but I'm definitely going to rethink not bringing my own food after this!!

Update: The citizens of Wichita, along with the City Council, an anonymous buyer of the drive in land, and the owner of the Tulsa Admiral Drive In, Blake Smith, banded together to save the Drive In. I am happy to report that they will reopen in the Spring of 2019!! Families will be able to continue enjoying this wonderful family venue! Our little family couldn't be happier.

...call 524-2424, after mindlessly singing that jingle as a child, I finally got to experience the Starlite drive-in as an adult. It was simply amazing. It makes me happy that so many people come out to watch movies at this local establishment instead of going to larger establishments. It was $13 for a car load. There are two separate screens with 3 different movies playing. My friends and each grabbed a lawn chair and sat outside to enjoy the wonderful weather and laughed along side the Minions. Went to the concession stand and was happy to see reasonable prices for popular movie snacks. I can't wait to go back and enjoy what Starlite has to offer!

So pretty and classic. This is a diamond of Wichita. If I lived here, I'd probably go every week.

Local, Affordable and most importantly.... No commercials…read more If you want a movie experience that we used to all have a decade ago, but with lots of modern amenities, this is the place for it. The movie starts exactly at the time advertised on their website. So, if it starts at noon, be there 10 minutes before. There will be a few trailers and straight to the movie. The Warren and AMC have about 20 minutes of shampoo commercials and then 15 minutes of movie trailers. It has open seating, so no need to reserve seats to accommodate your family and friends. The food and drink options are unique and nice. It's stuff you won't see at the other spots. The prices are affordable. Want an Oreo popcorn? they have it. Want 20 different soda options? they have it. Want an adult beverage? they have it. What I do is order everything I want on their website and just walk in with my QR code on my phone, and they have my stuff ready, and the food will be made to order and is pretty decently quick (8-10 min). It's almost all self-serve so it's pretty quick. Only con I can say is the refills cost extra, but I suppose the lower price food/drink reflects that. Good for folks that don't normally get a refill. The theater itself is a work in progress. They have a message pulled up before the movie starts explaining it and they are making improvements. If you want an overall better experience that is affordable, check out this theater.

The facility was clean, staff were limited but helpful and prices were much less expensive for the food/ticket than other theaters. Wife liked the popcorn. Liked the rocking seats (no recliners but we were fine with that). Liked the Oldtown location. Sound and picture were very good and we really liked the fact that they only showed two trailers and we were able to get right to the showing of the movie. Highly recommend if you just want to go see a movie in a comfortable theater with good picture/sound while not being overcharged for all of the extras.

MANAGER BRIAN IS ACTIVELY STOPPING LOCAL ADULTS FROM SEEING 'GIRLS LIKE GIRLS'…read more I am incredibly disappointed by my experience with the management at Regal Warren East. I called the theater hoping to get tickets to see the new movie Girls Like Girls (an adaptation of a NYT bestselling book aimed specifically at young adults). This location is the ONLY theater in Wichita playing this film. Because they chose to place this LGBTQ+ film exclusively in the "Warren 21" premium wing, anyone aged 17-20 is completely banned from seeing it in our city--even though they are legal adults fully permitted to watch R-rated movies under standard Regal policy. When I spoke to Brian, the manager on duty, over the phone to clarify this, his response was completely unacceptable. Brian explicitly stated that he didn't think the movie was going to be popular enough to put on a main screen "because of the content."When I asked for a reasonable compromise -- such as creating a sign-up list for a single, standard-screen showing so the theater could gauge actual local interest -- Brian straight up refused. He told me he would not allow anyone under 21 to even be put on a list, that a list could not be made, completely locking out the very demographic this film was made for. It is deeply alienating to hear a manager use personal assumptions about "content popularity" to justify burying an LGBTQ+ film behind a 21+ bar barrier when they hold the local monopoly on the release. Regal Corporate needs to look into how Brian is running this location and fix this screen assignment immediately.

They removed the arcade games and now entry is funnelled by a single person checking tickets. This might tell you how long it's been since I've been here. Drawback is there don't serve diet cock products! Only Pepsi... womp womp. And the Photo Booth themed to the movies playing is fun!
