I am so disappointed in Regency, and I'm shocked at these reviews. I wish I would have seen this before my 1st appt. This dental office, the front office is not on par with professional dentists-and I've been to a few. First, let's talk about the HIPA law that they're violating. my husband, myself and my insurance company have been sending medical records like estate to a non working email address that Regency has all over their letterhead and even the dental treatment plans. when I asked about receiving my docs, 2 people told me that they don't use it, they have another email address. Why would they place that email address on letterhead and billing info? Whats the delay in changing an email address? I can't believe peoples medical records are just out there! Also, I've left several messages with insurance, and front desk for an appointment, to no avail. once I ended up driving there to speak to the people at the front desk. i called once last week and today, the only reply is the same auto-text and when you leave the message, no one actually follows up. The other issue is, my pre-authorization came in, thus allowing the Dr to go ahead and start my dental work, approving what will be paid. I've been trying to contact these people to get in the schedule. You would think they would contact people who help contribute to the business BEING in business, thus services rendered = Getting paid. Apparently, the business of being in business is not important. Why wouldn't you call patients back, to schedule the visit? I don't understand what this is about. Another dental name will not make the business reputable. They should be embarrassed by the level of service they're providing patients. Lastly, I will complain to the Dr., and if he acts as if it's not a problem, I'll kindly get out of his chair and in another dental office. read more

It's magic how the work you need is exactly what your insurance will pay. My 1st time in that office. Bible verses in your face. ABUSIVE assistant, she had me crying! When I phoned Office Manager, she at first tried to explain and rationalize the employees abuse. And then DEFENDED the assistant's abuse. All those verses are for show. The nurse was rude and ubrupt. . I was there to just evaluate a slight chip in my front tooth, they immediately did a whole panoramic x-rays on my mouth and then the dentist just wanted to grind down the tooth. he didn't really talk to me, and they said they accepted my insurance but I got a bill after and they stated that my insurance was not accepted and would not cover the x-rays that I did not ask for. overall a bad experience. read more

Excellent Staff! I started with Dr. Duff, no longer with the practice, he did extensive work on my teeth. Improved my bite. Reduced my frequent headaches. Was not happy to hear he was no longer there. HOWEVER, was Recommended Dr.Marks.He is VERY, VERY GOOD! SUPER GENTLE, most important of all. COMPASSIONATE : ) I have MAJOR ISSUES GOING TO THE DENTIST! My anxiety level goes through the roof. They are very patient, the staff in general is very efficient and understanding when it comes to special accommodations, etc. Special things, to their phone staff. I was very disappointed from the time I arrived. It took a dental supervisor forty minutes to do routine x-rays. Then she could not find it which took another fifteen minutes. She had to ask the over inflated ego young financial mgr ( maybe 25 ) to find the x-rays , more minutes. The dentist arrived , looked in my mouth and stated to the hygienist " did u c this" !! I felt very embarrassed. She was quick to say what they would charge for various treatment to fix a smile though. The dentist told the hygienist to write the treatment plan up and give it to the financial mgr to present. Within minutes the prices were explained to me in a condescending manner. Meanwhile, most of the staff were looking at FB and showing pictures to each other on their phones. My appt was at 11 am and I did not leave until 1 pm !!! I knew I would not use them for my dental work right then however I paid for a cleaning later the next week and it was done in 12 minutes. I asked the young mgr if he could show me the materials that they wanted to use and he said they don't have any samples but I could find them on line !!! That ripped it . Went to Aspen Dental a totally positive experience and they asked when I had my teeth cleaned and that Regency missed a major cavity on my crown. Worst experience ever. They don't care at all about customer service. And the assistant assigned to me was Not friendly at all. It was so bad, that I began to think it was because the color of my skin. She brought me to my chair and did not say a word, she seemed very cold and bothered that I was there. I assumed it must've been a bad day for her at first but then she proceeded to help a patient in the room next to mine and was a whole other person. She was talkative and kind to the other patient who was a Caucasian male. I was truly disappointed in this office for their lack of customer service. I will not be going back. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. I went last year for the first time, a late afternoon appointment. I felt like cattle in a herd. As most have stated previously it appears they are profit over patient. The assistant who was taking my X-rays was all over the place, ripping things in and out of my mouth without care. On top of that, the dentist (I can't even remember his name that's how unremarkable this visit was) didn't even sit and look into my mouth. Stood in the corner of the room behind me and said the X-rays looked good. I complained of one tooth being extra sensitive and he just suggested Sensodyne or they could give me one for a charge. I then had to proceed to ask him again about something in my mouth. He never once's examined me or even sat, i had to turn my head and look behind me. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and scheduled a follow up cleaning for 6 months, August 2020. I never received a call to confirm this appointment, reached out three times via phone with no response and sent an email that to this day as never been returned. Turns out they had closed temporarily due to COVID, which I found out from someone else that went there. Never once did I receive a call about this closure, nor have they attempted to get me rescheduled or even answered my email. Please don't go here for honest, competent orthodontics or dentistry. I scheduled a consult for orthodontics with Dr. Yazji. The office took a panoramic x-ray. The doctor briefly examined me and indicated that I had four cavities. He was unable or unwilling to do orthodontics on me but was happy to refer me to another crooked doctor. Prior to leaving, a pudgy, little office manager appeared and wanted to discuss my willingness to pay for the aforementioned work, I was told I needed. I listened to the various ways in which I could pay for all the work that was discovered in my mouth. I knew there was no way I could have any cavities in my mouth. All I needed was a cleaning. I went to Regency Dental for an ortho consult, not dental, I have a dentist. What I want to convey here is that the doctors and employees at Regency Dental are dishonest and unethical. They were completely willing to drill into healthy teeth just to make a buck. I have had my teeth cleaned by my dentist and a full set of x-rays. I have not one cavity. Shame on you Regency Dental. Also, they pack people in their office like sardines. The waiting room is the size of a broom closet and they have exceeded the number of patients they should have in there at any given time. This is a quantity not quality operation and the city should drop in there to see the volume of patients they squeeze in to little rooms. The whole place is a joke. Gross! read more
