The good: They help take a lot of stress out of the wedding planning process. The venue is beautiful, and i don't know why people complain about put a fork in it. He does a great job, but there is no true way to not have the meat a little rough when it's sitting on warmers for a couple of hours, a fact he warns of before hand. I'm giving 4 stars because they did follow everything in the contract. The mid: They follow everything to the letter of the contract, this is both good and bad as if you didn't talk about it before hand they will not deviate. I appreciate this but it can also be frustrating. The Photo Booth is two hours and only two hours. We thought we were getting it from 6-8 but we only got it from 8-10 a problem for us because our picture book was incomplete due to guests having to leave, which was something I was sad to see. Thankfully the wedding coordinator had it opened 30 min sooner. (The major reason this review is 4 and not 3 stars )When I asked for a partial refund on it I was told the contract stipulated 2 hours. I withdrew my request for a refund because that's true, that is what the contract said but it doesn't establish good will. The bad: The bakery they go with is disgusting. It's too darn sweet and lacks any measurable flavour... besides sweet. They also took away the food and were gonna throw it away. I just stumbled in the kitchen and saw it and asked them to pack it up. All in all a good place. Just make sure if you have any specifics to get everything in writing just in case. My daughter had her wedding in September and couldn't get water for herself or guest for 3 hours. Even the bride and grooms room didn't even have a pitcher, or water bottles. It was 106 outside! Paid for 7 hours of drinks, nothing available for first 3. Met with flower person 3 times, paid an extra $800 in flowers they were still wrong! Guest came in wrong door, missed book signing and lovely entrance because there are no signs and UBER/LYFT drop off at address, not venue entrance. Paid for glass wear.. only available at table not at bar. Lots of miscommunication in signing. Thought my guest would have that at bar, especially since there were so many kids, pregnant woman and non drinkers I was charged for. read more

My fiancé contacted the catering company they use and complained about how horrible Todd and his rubber chicken he served at this event was. I would recommend the venue but make sure put a fork in it isn't handling your menu. Worst ever horrible food and service. They handle everything with such ease and professionalism and it makes the day that much more special and less stressful. Regency garden deserves all the stars!! My husband and I got married here on 3-3-19 and it was the most wonderful day ever and the most stress free day of my life all thanks to Tony and Linda! When we first toured this venue, we knew it had the right vibe for us and our family/friends, but what we didn't realize at first was how professional they are and how everything is out into such a perfect system that I honestly don't see how your wedding could ever go wrong here! They have all inclusive packages to choose from and I mean ALL inclusive, they even took care of our invitations with the package. All of their vendors are extremely professional and they contact YOU when it's time. So you don't need to constantly be keeping tabs on which vendors you need to talk to. Their cake vendor (piece of cake Az) was the star of the show, we got so many amazing compliments on our cake, the food (put a fork in it catering) was also very good as well as their staff! One of the things we loved most was that this venue already looks decorated, so you can save SO much money on little decorations that no one will really even notice. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the reception room has such and intimate and easy vibe. I felt at home the entire time! The day of the wedding was the easiest day ever because all the staff knows exactly what their doing and they give you a timeline to keep on track. Trust what they say. All I can say is WOW! Regency Garden was the first venue we toured and our only choice after that. It is a stunning garden venue with an ambiance that gives you goosebumps and sends shivers down your spine. Tony and Linda are absolutely wonderful. They made the wedding planning process a breeze and gave the best recommendations and advice. Not to mention, they offer so many options for decor to make your wedding day the perfect day. Their vendors that are included are absolutely wonderful as well. Mark, our DJ, played some amazing music and had our guests dancing all night. Put a Fork in It catering was so good that our guests went back for seconds and thirds. We hardly had any leftovers! Cactus Flowers provided the most beautiful flowers and they arrived exactly how I envisioned them to be. Our photographer, Karen, was so down to earth, knew exactly what she was doing, and made us feel so comfortable and natural. Nathan, their preferred videographer, created an absolutely stunning wedding video for us. He is not included in their package but I highly recommend him for your big day! Everyone kept asking me if I was stressed with wedding planning and I wasn't. If anything I felt like I was stressed that I was missing something because Regency takes care of everything for you. PROCEED WITH REGENCY GARDEN WITH CAUTION. This is quite a hefty story, but I'll share in hopes that it may help couples who may fall into the same situation. In no way are we bashing any business here, merely, sharing. We were so so very excited to have our wedding at Regency. Our initial walk through in June 2016 was swell and we instantly loved our chemistry with Tony and Linda. They were prompt in responding to our initial inquiry as well! It felt like "family" even though it was a venue. When we were taking our tour, Tony made it very clear that the date we were thinking of (March 4th) was one of their MOST SOUGHT AFTER dates of the year. Soooo...we decided to move forward with paper work THAT DAY! My father was going to be paying for the venue, so he wired the $1,500 deposit to put down to hold our date of March 4th, 2017. We were told verbally that Regency is very flexible with the financial side of thing and that they would work with us on payment schedule, and that only the $1500 would be non refundable should something arise to have the wedding not work out at RG. My dad was laid off the very next weekend, and he let us know he was no longer going to be able to make the three payments so that we could have our wedding at the venue. Instead of cancelling our date, we were determined to find a way to just have our special day, so we continued to hustle and find ways to make the first payment. By the grace of God, some friends of ours heard about a lot of what we/my family was hit with (a lot that I won't include) and reached out to us. Her mom had just passed away and had left them some inheritance. They so gracefully went to Regency Garden and paid our 1st payment of $4,718.45. A month or so later when it was time for the second payment, I was hit with a huge health scare, our vehicle AND house both were hit with huge repairs and despite our massive efforts, we couldn't afford to even purchase groceries. On Sep. 9th, we went into Regency and spoke with Tony. We let him know the situation and told him that we completely understood that they needed to keep the $1,500 deposit (as they told us verbally), but we asked if they could please return the money to our friends since they donated that to us selfishly to help US also considering the fact that neither Regency Garden nor any of their affiliated vendors had done any work or planning. Tony refused multiple times stating that if Steve or I were hit and killed by a car accident, he would be willing to deal with the situations "case by case" and refund the money, but that he couldn't budge for this. I asked what we paid that $4,718.45 (plus $1,500) for considering there was NO work or services given and he had no answer, just kept stating that business is business. He hinted toward the idea that if he could fill our date with another wedding, he would return the $4,718.45 to our friends. We literally just had a 20 min meeting that cost us $6,218.45. I've worked legal and after scouring the contract, Regency is completely covered contractually to keep our friend's payment/our money and I suppose my husband and I learned the very very hard way not to take verbal promises no matter how nice and helpful someone seems (yes, we got married in my parent's backyard, so there is a positive to this! :)). We waited after the wedding date to write/share in hopes that after the March 4th date, they would find it in their hearts to refund the money they took in payment for NOTHING...but unfortunately, they told us that they couldn't fill our date (the most popular date of the year) even though they had close to 6 months. On top of this, we had an acquaintance drive by Regency Garden the night of our wedding (March 4th) to see if they were having an event, and it appeared like there was (not positive though). Anyway, the venue is seriously so darling. Tony and Linda are great as long as you don't have lighting strike in your life 3 times in a row. I hope that no bride/groom has to experience a fraction of what we did through all of this. We are currently starting our marriage living with a friend to be able to pay back our friends money they donated to us that we didn't even get to touch . I had my wedding here and I must say I didn't need a wedding planner with these guys. Husband and wife owners and they treated my event like it was their own. The outdoor area was big enough to handle out 100+ crowd. Speaker system worked nice so everyone heard the whole ceremony. It was just flat out GORGOUS with the decor with the fountain and red brick and this is just the outside. The inside was 100 time better than the outside giving it that outside cafe in Italy look. The food was EXCELLENT all around. Just the experience was top notch. All the guests said we picked a great place and a couple of my friends are having their weddings there. My husband and I were married at Regency Garden on October 3, 2017. We could not have asked for a better experience! The location is absolutely stunning, and provides an instant romantic atmosphere. Walking up to the entrance, you'll hear Frank Sinatra, and smell vanilla wafting over the fence. The building is adorned with twinkle lights and lush greenery. The owners, Tony and Linda, are fantastic to work with, and really contributed to my confidence that the day would go off without a hitch. The first day we met Tony. I probably asked a thousand questions, which he patiently answered, and gave me handouts. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and he never seemed annoyed by this - which is not something I can say about other venues we looked into. We met Linda closer to the actual day. She was very helpful in picking out decor and arranging the room, and keeps the show rolling on time, all while politely navigating some tricky family dynamics. Regency Garden offers an all inclusive package, which you can take full advantage of, or use your own vendors. The only thing not included is the officiant. Other venues we vetted have similarly priced "all inclusive packages" that have significantly fewer services included. Our experience was pleasant with all the associated vendors, and everything turned out wonderfully. We used: - Put a Fork In It Catering - we still get compliments from guests on the food! Do yourself a favor and go to a tasting when you're hungry. They have so many delicious options! - Piece of Cake - I was so thrilled when I saw our cake for the first time, it was gorgeous! Absolutely 100% what we designed at our tasting. Getting a tasting scheduled was initially a challenge due to our weird work schedules, and they were inflexible about alternative times. If you are unable to get a tasting appointment, they have cupcakes at their store, although they do taste a little different due to frosting differences. - Picture Perfect Invitations - she was so kind, and we loved our non-traditional shimmery purple invites. A lot of our guests commented on how original they were. - Crismon's Flowers - I didn't realize I was supposed to look at their website beforehand and come in with ideas of what I wanted, but despite that, this vendor helped us pick everything out in just one meeting. The flowers were beautiful and smelled fantastic on our big day. - Still Life Photography - quite possibly our favorite people to work with! Amazing!!! Bridget met with us for a consultation and we totally hit it off, she is so fun! Luckily she was available to photograph our wedding (we enjoyed her company so much), but I felt relieved to know they have multiple photographers on staff in case of unforeseen emergencies that day. - DJ/Professional Mobile Entertainment - Mark was a great DJ! We have fairly broad musical tastes, and being procrastinators, we were emailing back and forth with him a couple days before with our ceremony preferences. He still had everything all together and it was such a fun reception. He also had a few game suggestions to break the ice and encourage guest participation, and those were a big hit. Nobody likes a dry wedding; there are 3 different bar options, all of which are paid per head. Even for the underage minors who cannot partake, you ask? Yes, even for guests under 21. That is my only complaint. Which in the grand scheme of things, is just a drop in the proverbial bucket, but at the time, it felt like an unnecessary charge. However, they really did mean unlimited - I'm sure the ones who did drink, made up for the ones who didn't. We opted for the unlimited beer and wine option, and heard no complaints from any of our guests. If they hadn't told us, I never would have noticed that the grass outside is artificial, so no one will leave with muddy shoes and ladies' heels won't dig in and make them wobbly. However, the mosquitos are real (not Regency's fault). I wanted to look (and smell) like a beautiful bride, so I opted for perfume and declined mosquito repellent but my exposed ankles paid for it - forget that, ladies! When we look back at our wedding day, we have nothing but beautiful memories. The flowers and cake were at the venue when I arrived, the photography was comprehensive but didn't drag, the bartender kept drinks flowing, and everyone left with full bellies! We utilized their DJ, which kept things flowing and left the guests mystified when the evening sailed by so effortlessly and quick. Tony and Linda had many decorations and items we were able to use to personalize the venue, which in the end saved us money. I had my wedding here 11/5/2016. It was so beautiful! All my guest can't stop mentioning how much they loved it. The price seemed high to me at first so I looked around and found for an all inclusive package it was actually less than the competition. You can also pay the amount owed in payments to make it easier. And if there's a vendor you would prefer using or not using you can pick and choose to have them included. You're not required to use anyone. I chose to go elsewhere for our cake and invitations because I just wanted something different. But the vendors I used were pretty great. I used still life for photography which when everything was said and done I ended up with really beautiful photos that their photographer Bridget took. She was really great! The bar service was great and if you pay the beer and wine you can bring in some liquor to be served as well. You just can't leave and come back with more after the wedding had started. The only thing I had a hard time with was inviting kids with the open bar because you had to pay from them to drink even though they were too young so I tried my best to avoid kids being invited. But I know that pretty standard. The dj Mark Sanchez was great. He kept things moving along all night. People were dancing all night. If you had a request he was quick to accommodate. Even for a strange request for a wedding he had it and put it on. After my bridesmaids got my permission. He didn't want to put on B****better have my money until I gave the ok. Which was nice because I had him wait until the older conservative guest left before playing it. The florist was great too. I had a hard time explaining what I truly wanted and thought the flowers weren't going to be what I wanted. But on the day of the wedding when I walked into the dressing room there were these gorgeous flowers that were better than I could have imagined. She somehow knew exactly the look I wanted. The only vendor I used that I wasn't thrilled about was the cater put a fork in it. I had a really hard time getting an apt set up. The woman I tried to schedule with told me she would contact me when they were doing a tasting but she usually wouldn't and I had a hard time with her telling me a week before they were doing one because my husband is a truck driver so I usually couldn't get him home in time. And when I went for the tasting there must have been miscommunication because I didnt know I could pick items I wanted to try so they could have them prepared when I got there. Instead I tried other people's picks. And I couldn't get anything set up again to retry what I wanted so I just chose from what we had that day. Which I don't think trying anything different would have helped. The chicken was overly fatty which is all I really eat for meat so that was not good. The roast and pork loin werent very good alternatives. The potatoes, bruschetta, and coconut chicken appetizers were really good though. And the service they provided the day of the wedding a awsome. My husband and I had plates with some of everything brought to us and they took care of our drinks as well so we didn't have to leave our table. So it wasn't all bad. And maybe some of the other food that I didn't try is good. As far as the scheduling for the tasting I informed Regency. They told me I should have told them so they could have worked it out. So that is on me. But I guess overall the whole thing was so so. It wasn't awful but not great. I tried so hard to find a garden or green venues and that was difficult but this was exactly what I was looking for. They keep the garden very green with colorful flowers. The grass is fake which I thought was great because I had a friend's wedding were everyone's shoes ended up a bit muddy and I was glad to not have to worry about that. Tony and Linda were so easy to work with. They set up and cleaned up everything. My family just packed it in there cars after the wedding and that was that. I brought all my stuff I wanted set up 2 days before the big day. All I did was label it and they set it up just how I asked. Linda a just a couple quick questions for me about a couple items before I went to my dressing room and then that was that. I didn't have to worry about anything all day. The tables, linens, chairs, place settings, and easel for my seating chart were all included. They also have an option to have a sparkler send off at the end of the night. Alot of my guests left early but I still had about 20 people there at the end. They even asked me before hand if I still wanted to do the sparkles or just get the money back since my guests had left. I liked that they gave me the option in case I changed my mind. That way I would have to pay for a service I really wouldn't have gotten much from. I highly recommend this venue. The outdoor courtyard feels like your in secret garden filled with beautiful plants, greenery, fountains and romantic twinkling lights. The inside is decorated is beautiful as well and has the feel like your at a quant Italian restaurant in New York but has a ton of space! I had a 200 person wedding and I was a little worried about the space but there was plenty of room! Tony and Linda (owners) are seasoned veterans in wedding planning! These people are professionals and know how to accommodate a large crowd! People didn't need to wait in line at the bar a long time. The bartenders are fast and afficient. The place is beautiful with plenty of room for 200 guests.The outdoor ceremony garden area is wonderful and the indoor venue is spacious the dark rafters brick walls and lighting is sets the perfect atmosphere. The only downfall is the Brides suite has no direct AC so summer time their suite gets hot as the Grooms suite has a ceiling and direct air. So this part gets 4 to 5 Stars...... Now on to the services. Lets start with the owners. This is their first year owning Regency and I hope over time they line themselves up with better vendors. Their all inclusive package is what we used and were let down by some of their choices of vendors. Lets break it down good to bad THE GOOD: FOOD: by (A Savory Affair) 5 Stars. Great absolutely hit a home run. But they are no longer using them. Their preferred vendor is (Put a Fork in it) their food not so good luckily for us Savory was still available and did a great job. CAKE: by (PIECE OF CAKE) 5 Stars. Awesome the modified the cake to suite our needs and the cake came out delicious. The tasting was fun they offer and will modify to make your cake special and they even give you a new cake at your one year anniversary. No saving a cake in the freezer for a year. DJ: by (PROFESSIONAL MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT) 4 Stars. Did a very good job he kept the music at good level during the dinner and kept people on the dance floor after dinner. works well with guests and made the night fun by playing great music. THE OK: OFFICIANT: by (Rev. Joe Meyers) 3 to 4 Stars. He did a good job defiantly a professional and will conduct a great service. Only small complaint is that we revised his ceremony to fit us better and he still used his format during the wedding. Still a nice ceremony just not exactly what we asked for. FLOWERS: by (CRISMON'S FLOWERS) 2 1/2 to 3 Stars. Get your own florist and you will get a better selection for less and get exactly what you want. Not worth the package price. We just had our wedding there 3/25/2016! And let me tell you!!!! It was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Everything I had dreamed my wedding would be, it became! We had 100 Guest and everyone just had such great things to say about our venue! The owners are so easy to work with and they really make you feel like family! They took care of everything! A quick note that we had our reception here 4 years ago, so I don't know how much of this is still relevant, however recent reviews seem to match. I feel really bad that I haven't reviewed them until now! We had been looking at reception halls all day before stopping at Regency. As soon as we walked in we felt like it was "the one." the outside courtyard is gorgeous, with kind of a European feel to it. We just loved the brick work, the fountain, and the landscaping. Moving indoors, they have it decorated to look like the outdoors, for a very charming effect. We loved the fact that we got to use both the courtyard outside and the indoor area. This made it extremely comfortable for our guests, as those who wanted a quieter atmosphere could move outside. The lighting is romantic, but not too dim. For such a beautiful place, you would expect to shell out a ton of money, but they were actually the most reasonably priced of all the places we looked at. And for what they provide, it's an even better deal. They provided all the linens (which can be a huge expense in itself) as well as the flowers for the centerpieces. They just directed us to their partner florist (Crismon Flowers) and we got to pick everything out. That really saved us a lot of time and money! Any bit of furniture we could have needed, they already had, including a DJ table. They also took care of all the cleanup which made for a very relaxing evening for our guests. We got so many compliments on what a beautiful reception it was. Everything went off without a hitch. We were thrilled with it and would recommend Regency Garden to everyone! Also, to the person who said it's not good for kids, it might be helpful for those reading if you explained exactly what happened. Did something get broken? Were they rude to you? We had a TON of children at our reception (most of my family is Mormon) and we didn't have any problems. They were able to run around and be kids. We HAD to have a venue that was kid-friendly, otherwise a huge chunk of our guests wouldn't have been able to come. So that's why I'm curious exactly what the circumstances were, because they seemed very tolerant of kids when I was there, and it sounds like they host Mormon receptions all the time, so I know they're used to accommodating children and large families. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but I'd say it's probably the exception and not the norm. More details would be useful for helping people make a decision. read more

Top Notch!! I was the officiant at a wedding on black Friday and it was amazing. EVERYTHING was perfect. The room was perfectly lit. Linda and family were very helpful in making sure everything was perfect. The food was just OK, but they made up for it with the level of service. If I was going to complain, my only complaint was that the DJ was boring. He definitely could have stepped it up a notch. But if that was the worse thing that happened...all was good. My husband and I got married at Regency Garden in October 2013. The venue is gorgeous and all the details are tended to. It's an enchanted fairy tale type of wedding. We worked closely with Chris, the owner and he is remarkable. I completely trust him with everything. All of his vendors are experienced and so easy to work with. We had our wedding there on 10/23/15. There really are now words to describe how perfect everything was!! Linda and Tony are amazing. Every detail was taken care of. Even the vendors were amazing! Our very large Italian New York families LOVED the food! Rob Godridge our photographer was incredible. He knows the area and the venue which lead to some of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen. My guests couldn't believe how beautiful mine and my bridesmaids bouquets were. My cake was not only beautiful but delicious. The DJ played everything and my guests partied all night long! So happy we choose Regency Garden for our wedding. There is not enough words to describe how amazing this venue is. Tony, Linda,Stefani, and Eric are so hopeful and went above and beyond to make our special day even better. From the day we stepped foot into Regency and began our planning process we felt welcomed and cared for. I am one that has way to many questions and they were so patient with my multiple emails and drop ins. The atmosphere is elegant and classy with the best backgrounds for wedding pictures. My daughter and Son-in-Law got married at Regency Garden on 10-6-16 and it was an amazing wedding. Tony and Linda the owners made sure that the bride and groom were so at ease and the entire planning went off without a hitch. Everything was perfect and it is an all inclusive affair. The only way to go. Very reasonable which was wonderful. My wife and I were fortunate to be able to give them this gift and we have heard from so many guests that it was an incredible wedding and everyone had such a great time. The DJ,Mark, was wonderful and had everyone up and dancing through the night. The flowers, invitations and wedding cake were beautiful.. The food was very good, with only the Pork Tenderloin which could have been a bit more tender,but the food was great. As as a parent seeing your daughter that happy is the ultimate gift because Regency Garden is the only place to have your wedding in the Phoenix area... Fantastic venue!!!! We had our wedding at Regency Garden 10/1/16. It really was one of the BEST days of my life. Everything went absolutely perfect. We had no worries the entire day, Linda and Tony are the best. We left so much to them as they are the experts and honestly who needs the stress. All of our guest had a great time. All the preferred vendors had everything on point. My daughter Susan was married at the Regency Garden this past weekend and it was the day I hoped and imagined for her and her husband. Chris is just delightful to work with. Regency does everything for you and keeps everything running smoothly. We used all the preferred vendors and because they work so often with Chris pretty much everything was like clock-work- -smooth and seamless. A few minor, very minor things occurred but the staff at Regency knows how to handle everything so professionally that you don't panic- you feel confident that everything will be just fine (and it was). Chris is delightful to work with. He is calm, personable and his attention to detail is amazing. The venue is so gorgeous- it was charming and elegant and just perfect for my daughter and our family. The sound system is amazing. I love all the details such as the waterfalls, twinkle lights, fresh scents, music system, layout of the facility, ambiance inside the venue, etc. etc. I can't say enough good things about this place.
