Dated on the outdoor corridor. Inside was beautiful. Great access to beach and very convenient location. Drinks reasonably priced at bar. Bar food was ehhhh but it's bar food. Customer service was ATROCIOUS! Betsy in the main office is one of the most unprofessional, rude, and odd people I've come into contact with in awhile. Leanne was great at check in so helpful. But everyone on that property seemed to be in a bad mood, not helpful at all. Bar attendants blah. Just not a good vibe from that standpoint. I wait at least 3-5 days to write a review to check my own mood, hunger, fatigue, but nope it was just bad vibes from all the employees and Betsy takes the cake! People work hard to save for vacation and want to enjoy with a simple hello, to be helped if needed, but nope. We knew we weren't in Texas anymore with the hospitality at Regency Towers and the sad part is you really shouldn't even need much assistance. read more

I went there very recently ! It was a very nice place but sadly a couple of years ago something happened on the stairs and someone fell. I came back the next year, and they added yellow caution tape for safety precautions. Another thing is that the rooms have a good view of the beach/ocean. read more

We went back again this year and stayed in a condo rented through VRBO. We love staying here. It's right on the ocean and has two pools with a bar/restaurant in between. The food is not expensive either. They have events several nights a week that both kids and adults can participate in. We will continue to go here and enjoy the sun, beach and laidback family atmosphere. read more

We spent a month at Regency Towers this winter, booking through Book that Condo. This review specifically applies to our experience with the property. First off, our particular unit was updated and had very modern and luxurious finishes. For what I suspect is a full-time rental, the unit was incredibly well-stocked and had more in unit amenities than our previous rentals (we've had extended stays at Laketown Wharf and Watercrest). That being said, this particular building is older and shows it's age. I spent one glorious week here at Regency towers. I booked through Airbnb. Our condo was nicely updated. The building however was very dated and needed some serious upgrades. I found out on our dolphin tour that Regency towers is the oldest building on the strip. So that explains it. The amenities however cannot be beat. Nice grounds, great access to the private beach, beach chair service, tiki bar, two pools and a hot tub. Great location on the beach. You're super close to St. Andrews state park which is wonderful. There are 3 elevators on the building but still a far walk anyways because of the parking lot. It is gated so that is also nice. You're not in much walking distance to restaurants but that wasn't a loss for me. Overall, I would stay again. Pros: great location, nice amenities, gated parking lot and great view. Cons: not in walking distance to many restaurants, dates building ( but historic ), and long walk from lot to room usually. read more

The picture of the condo made it seem like it was updated, once there a different story. Materials left under the mater bed, scuff marks and fingerprints on the doors, out dated cook ware. The floors were dirty. The main couch had cat scratches. The website had shown a cafe, bar by the pool that to was under construction and not available. One of the stools was so shaky that we were unable to use it. The grounds and security were a plus. read more

Are you looking for a get-a-way oceanfront condo that can fit your whole family? We just spent a lovely week in Panama City Beach Florida, at the Regency Towers in Unit 1407. It is a spacious and gorgeous, 4-bedroom penthouse. It has a great view of the ocean from the living room and dining room, as well as one of the bedrooms. The balcony area is large and has a table and chairs, two loungers and more. We saw dolphins and schools of manta-rays from this vantage point. The well-stocked kitchen is huge and beautiful with plenty of cabinet space. The bedrooms have two kings, three queens and a bunk bed, plus room for portable cribs. The complex has a heated pool that was fabulous, since it was colder in December. We spent time in it every day since it was so delightful. There was also a lovely hot tub and exercise room. The beach was clean and there was easy access, with ramps if needed. The complex is close to St Andrews Nature Preserve and we spent an enjoyable afternoon there. Room 0716. Zero stars.... Arriving at the front desk I was greeted pretty rudely by the staff and when asked how many people were staying I told them 4 and I would like to get 3 parking passes if possible. She rudely reported why couldn't we all ride in the same car. Well, we are coming from different locations, not that it's her business. She reluctantly gave us 2 overflow passes. Entering the room, it was filthy. Sand everywhere, couches dirty, and black mold around laundry area which we didn't discover until doing laundry 1/2 way through our stay. Maintenance personnel made unannounced entrances for a/c filters, but not for any actual reported problems. Complaints were ignored even at the corporate level. We paid an incredible amount for the stay here, I guess this is what $400/night gets you here. We won't be returning and I'll make sure I spread the word that this is one of the worst places to stay in PCB. *edit* 2 days left in our stay and corporate emailed stating they were out of the office and they would like to discuss the problems we encountered. This review is regarding condo my condo rental experience and may not be applicable to owning at this property. Pros: ample parking 24hr security controlled/gated entrance, two pools with plenty of lounge seating, a pool bar with good drinks & foods at low prices open until 5pm, great beach access, on-site gym, indoor hot tub, facilities at the pool (showers & bathroom), three elevators, complimentary luggage carts, clean property/grounds, nearby grocery & liquor stores, great views of the gulf, and the location is further down from crowded center of Panama City Cons: although the property is well-kept, it is old & very outdated compared to most nearby properties, there are a lot of families/kids, the beach chairs are not provided (they are daily rentals), the area is not the nicest part of town (does not feel very safe to walk off the property at night), during my stay the main road was under construction causing a lot of delay coming & going from the property, and the on-site staff are unable to help renters with issues Bottom line: old property. good value for families, but not for travelers without kids. nice, cheap getaway spot if you spend most of your time at the beach. read more

Our condo was average. It wasn't terribly clean, although it wasn't dirty. It needs some updating for sure, but we were very comfortable and enjoyed our time. The setting is lovely with the beach right there. We enjoyed the heated pool, immensely, since the week was kind of cool. The worst part... For part of our visit, neither elevator worked, and we were on the eighth floor! The building itself needs many many updates and repairs. read more

Pictures from the website do not match the condo or the property. Our condo was DIRTY! Mold in both bathrooms, the guest bath smelled like urine, the floors were sticky, a stain on the kitchen wall, and all of the ceiling fans in all of the rooms were CAKED with dust. The safety rail on the bunk bed was broken, as well as the closet doors in some of the bedrooms. Several patio chairs had broken wheels, so you couldn't sit on them. The property is extremely outdated, the 2 pools are crowded, when you walk outside of your condo in the morning or in the evening, it smells like trash. The property has gated parking, but the security guards barely make an effort to check to see if you are staying onsite. The property has 3 elevators. The wait times can be long (we waited up to 10 minutes) to get on the elevator. It was easier sometimes to just take the stairs. I've reached out to the property via multiple email addresses and multiple phone numbers, and I've received zero response. The only good thing about our stay was the beach. I will never stay at a Regency Tower property again, and I will never recommend anyone to stay at this property or with any property with the management company. read more

First time visiting Regency Towers in December. The condo that we stayed in was privately owned, so it was ok. The building is in need of some cosmetic repair. We didn't have an issue with the elevators, but I can see them being a problem when it's crowded. The pool we awesome. One was heated and very comfortable. The hot tub was clean and very warm. Beach access was awesome. There were ramps and steps to use. WiFi was good. Overall the stay was nice, but probably won't return. read more

Let's just say you stay here for the beach. The room we got was clean, but was showing some age. Beware if you book via Expedia or the like, they will nail you for some additional fees to the tune of right around $200.00... (Cleaning Fees, Resort Fee, Security Fee, etc.) The beds where comfortable, the place was clean, but don't expect a new place. There was a great NuTone Intercom system in our unit. It was so old, it had a 33 RPM Record Player under it. Yup, a record player. But the positives are you can be on the beach in less than 5 minutes. They have three well maintained pools, charcoal grills and are minutes from St. Andrews State Park. So if you are going for the beach, go. If you are going to spend time in the room? Move along. We had a great time. We found the staff to be friendly and everything worked while we where there. This is on our list of places to stay now in PCB. read more

I wont ever stay here again. We were in unit 506 and it was absolutely DISGUSTING. The unit was infested with ants (coming from the windows, a colony of them in the dishwasher, etc.) we had to throw away food we had bought because the ants had gotten in it. The blankets in the unit were gross and looked like they hadn't been washed in 15 years. There were nasty dirty spots in the floor in master bedroom and one of the other bedrooms - literally looked like the cleaners just did a half a** job cleaning. And the maintenance guy said the master bedroom spot had been complained about many times before - so im confused why it was still there? Master bedroom smelled like soured throw up (we had to buy candles) The bathrooms were gross and extremely outdated/worn. Washing machine and doors were broken. The toilets had nasty black rings in them when we arrived and we had to clean them. We asked for another unit to move to and were told there were none available and that they would send maintenance to spray for ants. They came and sprayed apparently but the ants just got worse. We went down to the office to get some of our money back for our stay because it was that gross and they only gave us a $100 refund - there's a million other places in Panama City that we could stay at next time that would actually be CLEAN and WELL KEPT. Appalled at this place really... maybe other units are fine but DO NOT STAY in 506. Only reason for 2 stars is that it's right on the beach and the pools/bikini bobs is yummy. But this condo needs some major work - def not worth the money. read more

The place itself isn't bad, but when it comes to the staff.... they are the rudest workers that I have ever experienced. There was ONE security guard who was so sweet and the food workers were great but other than them, everyone else was awful. It took us 3 days to get our wristbands because they didn't have our ID's, when they scanned them on the first day and refused to give us our bands then and we had to get the security guard to help us finally get them. They have one job, that is customer service, and they failed extraordinarily. They have no respect for anyone and demean you when they speak to you. Other guests have agreed on these statements and agree that it is some of the worst customer service they have experienced. read more

Considering how big the building is, they really need to have more than 3 elevators. Our room was a good size for 6 of us, and I liked that it had a washer and dryer in the unit! But the condo itself looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was a ton of sand under all of the beds, the shower door was hard to open and shut, & the bathroom sink took forever to drain. We took the sheets off of our bed to wash them and there was a huge stain of what looked like pee. Gross! Here right now and the condo is very close to 5 star experience however - Cable has been out for 3 days and no one seems to care. I don't come to watch TV but damn! - Elevators really slow and few. Finally starting to enjoy the camaraderie of other guests joking about the elevators - Hot water seems to be scarce Otherwise beach is great, chair rental is easy and very courteous. I have stayed at RT several times over the years and I have never experienced odor or MARIJUANA like have on this trip. We had 7 grandkids with us and did not want them around it. We have spoke with staff on several occasions and they act like they don't care. Lady working the desk on September 30th said marijuana was legal in FL! WTH. She even said you can buy it in machines down here. She said we could call Bay County S.O. and then said "good luck with that", indicating they probably would not even come out. They was a slap in there face without them being able to respond! I believe someone needs to educate her.... Bottom line is customer service skills are lacking! There needs to be some training on how to speak with guests, seeing they are the ones paying the salaries! Oh yeah, the water was cut off twice with no notification to the guests. Bathroom at the pool had been used multiple times without flushing (Unsanitary). Then my grand kids could not even bathe or use the bathroom when we came back to our room...... Horrible experience! Watched a guy enter the middle elevator and the doors closed on him, peeling his skin back like an onion. He showed the front desk staff his injury through the glass and went back to his room to bandage it. I went inside and explained what had happened and told them the blood needed to be cleaned off the cart he was pushing. Well, they didn't move quickly. They let the cart set out side and called for someone to clean it. The guy injured said he had lived here for two years. You would have thought with a long term resident they would have rushed outside to see if he was ok and documented the unsafe elevator. Really disappointed in the stay this year! read more

My family has been staying here for years and every year it just keeps getting worse and worst. They are super money hungry. To get a luggage cart and is broken you have to give them your i.d. Until you return the cart. They give you plastic wristbands that you have to wear to the pool and if you don't have the wristband on you than you get kicked out of the pool. You can't even sit by the pool if you don't have a wrist band on. There are 14 floors with only 3 slow elevators so you have to take the dirty steps. The employees and security guards are super rude. They only give you two parking passes to park your car inside the gated area and one parking pass to park around a 4 lane busy highway that you hope you don't get hit while walking across and you hope your car doesn't get broken into. And if you have more than 3 vehicles than the make you park down some random side road. And if you don't have a pass than they will tow your car. And the rooms are super dirty and ruin down. And they give you old dirty white towels and if you get them dirty which they already are dirty than they charge you money. It's a scam. So don't stay here. There's better, cleaner, and more of a fun place for you and your family to stay at and enjoy the beach. read more

They really need to get rid of the hideous rugs outside the building and give soap that's worth washing your body with! They keep the pool clean and the area safe with guards which is good but they need to step up their game. Be careful when you use the towels. If the towels come back dirty you may have to replace them which who is to say if you're the one that got the towel that way in the first place. It's a relaxing place overall but nothing fancy. read more

My family and I stayed in condo #1024 the end of July, 1st week of August. Beautifully decorated and such a great place, with perfect views of the ocean. Each of the 3 bedrooms were spaced enough apart that you couldn't hear anything from the other rooms, such as snoring, tv, kids crying. The one bedroom is a little small, but my sister and I put the nightstand in the closet and spread out everything else we needed. The two pools were awesome as well as the kiddy pool. LOVED going to the Tiki Hut and just hanging out and trying their drinks and food. I would recommend this unit to anyone! The only downside I can think of is that one of the elevators wasn't very good. Note that there were 3 small children and 5 adults in this condo, with plenty of room for us all! read more

Location is tops! Although, I'm guessing it's important you look at the pictures for your unit because being such a large complex, I'm sure the quality varies. Fortunately for me, the condo we stayed at was very modern and clean. The view from the balcony and the accessibility to the beach couldn't be beat. The downside, like everyone else has said, elevators are very slow. During my stay, one was down for a bit. Other downside, you really have to get up early and lay dibs on the luggage carts. Either they are few and far between or there are a lot of people. Either way, plan in advance if you have lots to carry. The complex seemed to have something going most evenings we were there from a movie to karaoke. The beach is very close to the condo, very close and that's pretty awesome. This year they instituted a wrist band policy for the pool. While I don't particularly mind it, those that I was with that could tan didn't like the ideas of tan lines. Also they come around and look which is a little annoying, but I completely understand they are trying to ensure their guests have pool chairs and room in the pool, by eliminating others coming up from the beach. We drove up and down Panama City beach and honestly, I'm not sure you'll find a better location. Yes it's dated, and perhaps not the prettiest to look at (they're doing construction in the front and the exterior hallway carpet is really ratty) if you do your due diligence, you'll find a great condo for the money. read more

I loved the location, it was in the quite end of panama. The kiddie pool was a plus! The place did have karaoke night and a live band but everything stopped at 10pm, the pool even closed at 10. I know they normally do close around 11 or 12 but 10 just seemed early to me. Also while we was there an exterminator came in to spray for bugs, kinda creeped me out and I was worried to death id bring home bugs. The elevators are EXTREMELY slow! We stayed on the 5th floor and took the steps quite a few times just because the elevator was sooo slow. The condo is a little dated but if your there for the good price and don't really care about the luxury side of things this is would be a good spot for you. The tiki bar at the pool is extremely expensive tho, $15 for a mixed drink! read more

This was our second summer at RT. First summer - we stayed too hot in our room the whole time. RT brought us a couple of fans and we went and bought a couple. One of the 3 elevators for this huge complex was out which led the ones without an elevator have to come to the other two making it difficult to catch an elevator. In July we stayed again (#526)...no complaints with the room, just complaints with maintenance and some of the rules. We were on the 5th floor with an elevator being just outside our door (which would've been nice had the elevator worked, but it didn't.) We arrived on Saturday and was told the elevator should be fixed by Tuesday. Being that one in our party has asthma, one is semi-handicapped, one has back & knee problems, we weren't happy with having to walk across the complex to catch an elevator but were relieved we wouldn't have to deal with it all week. However, the elevator was never fixed so we spent a good bit of our vacation waiting on an elevator which at times was impossible to catch so we'd have to take the stairs. Stairs from the 5th floor in the summer is a nightmare/health scare for someone with asthma. Some waits were 15-45 minutes on the elevator. It's also crazy to rent a 3 BR condo and pay the price you pay then be told only ONE vehicle can park at the complex...others have to park across the road. This was a pain in the butt. I wasn't going to leave a negative review BUT after sending emails to two different people associated with RT and not receiving a response, decided to go ahead and leave one. Dishwasher was full of mold, floor was absolutely filthy, bugs were crawling on the future, one elevator was work in the entire place, pubic hair in the tub, we only had 4 sets of towels for 8 people, had to get cleaning supplies just to be comfortable enough to go to bed. Nice affordable condo! Would have been great and would have given 5 stars if one of the elevators had not been broken the whole time we were there (8 days). We were on the 11th floor. I am thankful that I am healthy enough to take the stairs,which I did several times during our stay. At times there was long waits and people would cram onto elevator. We stayed in a pretty nice 1bd/2ba condo. Pool wardens were ridiculous, kids couldn't have pool toys of any sort. While we were five feet away in pool, they took our towels & bag from our chairs & put it on the outdoor bar. After finding a worker, was told you can't reserve seats (we were in the damn pool). No apology, nothing. Only outdoor pools here so that sucks when it rains/get sunburnt. Check out is 10am, everywhere else I've stayed is 11. This place is fine but they don't want you to enjoy it. The female security guard passed by us on the first day here and we asked her where the smoking section was because we are good humans and we wanted to go where that was. She identified us as a problem immediately and spent the rest of the trip following us around and harassing us. She kicked my child out of the hot tub (I was supervising and witnessed the whole scene) and told her she was too young. Even though there are literally no signs posted about age Whatsoever in the entire pool. It just says 18 and you have to have an adult to supervise under that age, which I was doing. I understand she may not have liked us, but she did not need to target my child over rules that are not posted. She also continued to approach us repeatedly over arbitrary things. I never expect special treatment but I do expect to be able to enjoy my vacation without some power hungry person lording over everyone in my group. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is awful. They need so much maintenance done to the condos, there was only two working elevators the whole week we stayed to accommodate 14 floors, so you can only imagine the lines for be elevators especially around check in/check out. They were dozing maintenance on them Saturday when we got there and said they were getting parts to get them fixed, and when we left a week later they're still broken. The vent in our living room had mold growing out of it and when we called maintenance they told us all the could do was spray paint it, so they proceeded to spray paint it INSIDE THE ROOM so the whole room smelled like spray paint after. They only allow three parking passes for each condo, one to stay in the main parking lot and two overflow, and then proceeded to tell us one day that if you had an overflow parking pass that you were going to be towed if you were in the main parking lot. The "overflow" parking lot was across the street and had about 20 spots in it. Just absolutely ridiculous to accommodate all of the people that you have staying there. The pool has so many rules and rude staff walking around at all times to enforce those rules. They also have a bar that's right next to the pool, but you can't drink by the pool (makes a whole lot of sense). I will never stay here again. No where near worth what we paid for! read more
