We came on a Friday evening, tired and hungry, so waiting for food wasn't something we wanted. But wait we did. However, when we eventually got our food, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the burger patty, and the grilled cheese accompaniment to the tomato bisque (especially since they said there was no more of the chili I ordered). The staff came over several times to check in which was appreciated. The food and service saved the experience for us! Prices were also reasonable. They have outdoor seating as well, which is where most people chose. If they were a more well-run establishment they could take this to the next level. Parking is around the corner of the Characters restaurant and seems to be plentiful.

The owners are incredibly welcoming, as are the bar staff, and there's a warmth to the place that makes you want to come back. We've really enjoyed the pop-up food vendors they've brought in, and when there isn't a vendor on site, the bites they offer are a great addition. And the cocktails! I honestly haven't had one I didn't like. They're creative, beautifully made, and showcase the spirits so well. I'm also loving the eclectic mix of live music they're bringing into the venue. It gives each visit a little different personality and makes The Baldwin feel like more than just a place to grab a drink. It's becoming a true local experience. Such a great addition to Pine Bush.
