I've been here twice and both times had issues when getting a full Brazilian. When I asked for a partial refund due to having to shave the area after I had received the service, I was told by the manager that they can't always get all the hair but that's what a full Brazilian entails. They had only offered half off my next visit but I will not be returning for a service that doesn't actually meet the criteria especially for it to be close to $100 read more

Allie waxed my entire face and brows. She did a good job on my face but my brows are the worst thing I have ever seen. I got in my car and cried not only were they bad shape but she overfilled them so much I looked like someone took a sharpie to my face. I will never go back that's how horrendous it was. read more

Really wonderful waxing place that bowling green desperately needed! Its so nice on the inside and smells of amazing aromatherapy, and is very clean and relaxing. I came for an eyebrow wax, quickly filled out my client form and was brought into my room with Ashley, who was so meticulous. Even though I was getting my eyebrows waxed and tweezed, I still managed to fall asleep for a minute because I was so relaxed! Best Wax Around! BG hasn't really had a dedicated studio like this before, and I'm so pumped! I love the staff at Waxing the City, makes a person with thick hair like mine feel at ease, lol. Something about their process, it doesn't hurt so bad and seems to last longer than other places I've gone. I got my armpits done, which is supposed to be as painful as the bikini line, but definitely didn't hurt as much. The technician who took care of me was very kind and explained the process as she went along. Very respectful. Also, they have a bunch of dedicated waxing before/after care products so I don't have to buy things online (which is dicey at times)... the stuff Waxing the city sells is better so far. Was promised a phone call from the manager to try and talk through the issue that never came-based on the professionalism of the front office staff, I can't say I'm surprised though. I have been a Waxing The City customer at the Bowling Green, KY location for months. I used the same girl for all my waxing needs and my lash/brow tint and shaping. She was wonderful! Well, she doesn't work there anymore, but I decided to give it a try with someone else. The girl that did my Brazilian wax talked so much that it took too long. That's not the worst part; she kept touching, rubbing, and scratching her face with her gloves on and then continued with my Brazilian without changing out her gloves. Ewww! I should have just stopped her and walked out. I won't be back, which is sad because I used to love it. read more
