My two visits to RGAL-ONE for pre-op and one for today's "cinematic feature" have been as pleasant as such an experience can be. Consider the crack team of doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, and even receptionists: (now that's a colon!) informative, professional, patient, but - wholly sympathetic to the entire process. The facility is clean, modern, and I even fell asleep to the anesthesia with J.Giles "Angel in a Centerfold" crooning me to never-never land. I can only throw 4 stars out today due to the nature of the experience, but all revealed and truth be told, it was anal-ogous to any trip to the dentist: fearsome, necessary, yet good to know that business has been taken care of. Punny business aside, gastro health is obviously very important, and my experience with RGAL was of the highest caliber. With upwards of 30 clients examined each day, they obviously know their end of the business, and they do it efficiently, painlessly, and I'd go back to them if necessary, hands down. I received excellent care here, as they took good care of me. Sarah also has excellent bedside manner and provides good advice. Doesn't rush through visits, and she is very thorough with physical exams and ordering tests. However, checkout is slow as this is a very busy office.

I tried to advocate for myself as the visit went on however he doubled down minimizing the symptoms I was describing and dismissing my concerns. It was to the point that I didn't want to return for a follow up visiting thinking maybe this all was in my head. During our visit he mentioned at least three times that he is a "board certified gastroenterologist." He should be embarrassed by the way he flaunts his education without providing the bare minimum in patient care. I have since seen a different provider in the practice who was wonderful- she listened and gave all my concerns careful consideration and validated how I was feeling. I will never go back to see Dr. Gordon and I will continue to encourage any family member or person I encounter to avoid him.

I am writing this review to share my very negative experience with Dr. Cohen. While I had hoped to…read moresee a different doctor at the practice, I was scheduled with her. My concerns began when a PA associated with the practice recommended a colonoscopy without ever performing a physical exam. The lack of care continued with Dr. Cohen, who provided no instructions regarding my blood thinners. She failed to coordinate with my hematologist, and after the procedure, when I had bleeding issues, I still received no guidance on stopping my medication or when to restart my medication. I felt there was a disregard for my physical health. I made it clear before the procedure that I had an Achilles tendon injury that was almost healed. Despite this, I left the procedure with a new complication to that injury, requiring me to wear a boot for at least three weeks. When I expressed my concerns about all of these complications, I felt she completely shrugged them off. I left feeling unheard and disrespected. I would not recommend seeing this physician.

For example-they gave me a prescription for the wrong medication for my child. On another occasion-a prescription for a medication that my child was on-was left in another patients file-they had to search around for it. They lost the copy of ID for my spouse that was in my child's file. Not too secure. I could go on. Dr. kumar is one that I like to avoid. She can get very nasty if you disagree with any of her suggestions-like for example, refusing a flu shot. If your child has a side effect from a med-she may get angry at you for bringing it to her attention-then insist that you do not have your child's best interest in mind, when asking for the med to be discontinued.

Who wants to stay with a doctor who isn't understanding of your child's wellness? My son is my priority and I want the best for him, especially his doctor.
