This location is very conveniently located in Novi. Lots of parking. Well lit. They have long hours of operation so gives you flexibility to schedule when you want to get your test done. The girls in the front are not friendly or helpful at all. I sat in the waiting room after receiving my disc with my results of the CT scan- with no explanation of what it was for (after an hour of waiting). I had to go up to the counter and ask the girl what it was for and she told me it was for my doctor. She failed to mention i am able to leave and do not need to see the doc again. This was my first time here and left upset. Hire better people to run the front desk who don't gossip about the patients in the open. Not cool and is a HIPPA violation. read more

I have went to RMI Novi Michigan a number of times. The people that work there are great. They are very friendly but professional. There is little wait time and you can have a number of tests done in one visit. I have had up to three. You are in and out very quickly. read more

My appointment was at 5, but I had to be in the parking lot at 4:45. By the time 5:15 came, I called to see if they had forgotten about me, they told me to come in. It's now 5:40 and I'm still sitting in the building waiting to be called for a 5pm appointment. The lady at the front was not very friendly which didn't help matters. I don't know that I'd ever be 'happy' to be going here, but the experience was as pleasant as possible. The office was a little challenging to find, as it was further down the street than my GPS thought. It's a large building with lots of windows. Inside, the main waiting area is open and airy. The associates at the sign-in desk were patient and helpful. When I was concerned that my appointment time was 20 minutes past and I was still waiting, someone very kindly explained to me that more tests had been ordered on the previous patient and it would just be another ten minutes. It wasn't even that long, thankfully. When I finally met with the technician, she was respectful and compassionate. I can't say anything for the results, but I doubt they'd have stayed in business more than 20 years if they weren't doing the basics right ;) read more

I don't have enough time or patience to explain how she waisted my time and my wife's with attitude and ignorance. Just do yourself a favor and go to a different office where she doesn't work! I'm very pleased with this place - i was informed by my doctor to get a CT scan (cat scan) of the brain. At the age of 29; yes i was a little nerves just thinking about the procedure. Anywho... when i walked in, i was greeted by 3 ladies at the front desk and of course informed to fill out some paperwork; so be sure to come in 10 mins early. My wait wasnt long at all and the nurse was very kind in fact which made me feel comfortable; after the testing i was informed results will take 2 business days, then i was handed a DVD with photo shoot of my brain. What an awful experience. I'll start with the facility's insurance department calling the day before my test at 2:10pm stating they haven't received the authorization from my insurance and if they don't get it by 3pm they're canceling the test. Sure, let me drop everything and contact my doctor (this is something THEY should be doing not me). I get that solved with minutes to spare (I do work for a living). Day of the appt they ask that I arrived at 12:30 and call from the parking lot that I have arrived. Did that. Come on in. Cool. I get to the front desk and the receptionist states "masks are optional" Well, the five texts I got from the facility said they were mandatory. I'll keep it on, thanks. Get called back by someone who never told me her name. We go in the room and go over her questions. I was instructed to remove my bra (underwires don't do well in a MRI) and she stands there waiting. Um, unless you're going to help me you better leave the room. She finally leaves and I wait. It's now 1pm and nothing. I hear a birthday party going on down the hall. People talking about cake. Next thing I hear at 1:15 is the radiologist talking with a tech about a patient and her "dilated bowel loop". Next thing I hear coming from the radiologist in the next room is him talking about Mr. John Doe and his DVT. He didn't even have the decency to close his door before speaking with the referring doctor or while he was dictating the report. TALK ABOUT A COMPLETE HIPPA VIOLATION!!!!!! I'm now know more about three different patients than I should. It's now 1:45 and I finally get called into the MRI room. No apology, no explanation of why they are 45 minutes behind. Common courtesy for the patient is nonexistent at this place. Totally unprofessional. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

Service was OK - nothing spectacular. Billing practices and understanding clients needs are absolutely horrible. Turned over a $66 bill to collection agency just after 30 days. Customer service said it's not in collections. BS The collection agency used formal collections language in their documentation. "This communication is from a debt collection agency attempting to collect a debt." It takes 30 days to bill the insurance and have the insurance company verify the contracted rated of the service and let me know what my co-pay is. Providers over bill patients all the time. I have a due diligence to make sure you're not over billing. I could understand turning over at 90 days but 30 days is horrible business practice. Will NEVER use them again. Also telling my referring doctor in hopes of persuading them not to make this referral again. read more

I was here with my wife for her mammogram. It appears to have taken over for another business. The checkin process was quick and efficient and the wait afterwards was relatively short. Before going back for the exam my wife was assured that they had female technicians. She was treated very professionally and the exam was as quick as could be. During her time in back she learned that there are a considerable amount of people working there to that of the business they replaced. This means that they can see more patients each day and results can be realized much faster than before. read more

I have used this facility three or four times now and they have by far the best prices anywhere and their staff is always so friendly! The place is very clean and when I had my ultrasound on my breast and refused the mammogram, the doctor who owns the place talked to me personally on the phone! He completely understood my apprehension about the mammogram (I had just had one a few months prior and I didn't want the radiation). He told me that if he were me, with my dense tissue, he would get an MRI each year because there is no radiation and it is a much more effective way, in my case, of detecting breast cancer. Insurance doesn't cover it but they have very reasonable prices and it would be well worth the $395 to have peace of mind for the entire year. How refreshing that a doctor would actually not make you feel stupid for not wanting a mammogram. And he taught me some things about my particular condition that were very helpful! I didn't have a bad experience, but I felt my case could have been handled more professionally. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, as instructed, for registration. At that time, I was told I had canceled my appointment. (I hadn't.) Apparently another patient with the same last name had an appointment right before me. When she chose to cancel, they canceled my appointment as well. This was surprising to me and could be construed as a privacy issue. I was asked to come back 3 hours later for a rescheduled procedure. I agreed, since I had no choice. When I came back, the appointment was uneventful. The staff was friendly and the office is beautiful. The MRI techs did a good job of trying to make me relaxed and comfortable. I am a bit disappointed at the lack of follow-up now that my results have come in. I don't know if the imaging associates have the authority to recommend that a primary care physician order further testing or not- but if they do, I wish they had done so. read more

Not respectful of their patient's time. They had set an appointment for 7:30 am. No problem, it's the first appointment, could get in and out by 8ish. Well, the problem is they don't actually open until 8. Yep. They made my appointment for a FULL HALF HOUR BEFORE THEY OPENED! Needless to say, I arrive early for my appointments and waited a half hour before a worker showed at a quarter to 8 and got in the front door, even though I saw another worker arrive around 7:35 and sneak in the back door. I tried the door several times between 7:20 and about 7:40. At which time I gave up and tried to call someone. Needless to say that was fruitless. Sometime between me giving up and the other employee arriving, the first employee opened the door. Despite her seeing me in the parking lot when she showed and being able to clearly see me from the door, (I was in a convertible with the top down in front of the door) she failed to acknowledge me and let me know the doors were opened. If it wasn't for the second employee showing up, I would not have known the establishment was opened and would have been sitting in the parking lot through my appointment time while trying in vein to reach someone. Once I did get in, the second employee didn't realize I followed her in and said I think our appointment is out in the parking lot. Well, yeah, thanks for letting me it was even open. When I addressed the issue, the first employee started saying, we're not even open until 8 and the time given was an "arrival time." Sorry Charlie, I made an APPOINTMENT. Even if it was an arrivial time, what good does it do to arrive when ITS NOT OPEN? And, if it was not open until 8, what the heck were you doing there at 7:35 then sneakily opening the doors? Even the MRI guy was late. Argh! Why would you waste my time like this? I am much too busy for this treatment. I could have been working, which is why it took me so long to get in anyway. The employee was nice despite my obvious anger so I thank the employee for that. That's the only reason for the second star. If you have an option, go somewhere else that will keep thier appointments. This place has proven to be unreliable. read more

My husband had to come here for A Ct scan and another type of radioactive test. Of course I didn't go back there with him, but the office was easy to access, ample parking, and boy was it beautiful! Waiting room should have more than 8 chairs though! read more

Not going there again! ever. Period. I had to call three times while traveling abroad (not to mention the international roaming charges) just to even get my reports faxed to the right number! 4 weeks after the imaging was done, they still were not received by my PCP... thanks to the "soooper fast" and "efficient" processes of this place! Although while registering and checking out, I had made sure and double confirmed the numbers just to ensure that they get faxed to the right numbers. they had not bothered to enter the correct fax numbers into the system. When I called, I gave them all the information again..and was put on hold only to be answered by another receptionist who had to take my information all over again! If I can get far better service at another location, why would I give my business to them? read more
