We went to Register Chevrolet on 2/9/26 to look at a 2026 Silverado. We met with a salesman named Nick, reviewed a truck we liked, and had both of our trade-ins evaluated. We were presented with a worksheet showing numbers that worked for us. Nick said the next step was completing a credit application. After our credit was run, Nick returned and said they had "made a mistake" on the worksheet and that one of our trades hadn't been listed properly -- meaning they could no longer honor the deal. No manager came out. No real explanation. No attempt to resolve it. Running a customer's credit before verifying deal accuracy is unacceptable. Credit pulls affect your financial profile, and that should never happen unless the dealership is confident in the numbers they present. This felt misleading and extremely unprofessional. If there was an error, it should have been caught before pulling credit. Be cautious -- this experience left us feeling like our credit was used as leverage after the fact. I went to north Florida on 03/26/2026 and 503 miles. I used cruise control except in small towns. Never drove over 65 the entire trip. My gas mileage was 37.7. I was in shock. Around town I average 32 mpg. This is fantastic. read more

Register RV Service saved my family and my lives! Back in June of 2023 Larry, the service tech at Register RV noticed that my cabinets above the driver and passenger in my Thor Hurricane and very loose and he fixed this issue with longer screws to hold these cabinets in place. This week I received an official recall Important Safety Recall Notice from Thor an NHTSA about this overhead cabinets were installed improperly. That is a 2 Years different! I recently used Register to make what I thought should be a simple repair by factory trained Chevy technicians. I already posted a more detailed complaint, I read other complaints after I posted this and wish I had stayed away from Register. Some of the positive reviews had to do with the sales side of the business, one on the service side had to do with an oil change. If Register got that wrong they're really screwed. i took my 10 yr old Chevy Van to this Chevy dealer expecting expert factory trained technicians to expertly diagnose the problem with my cabin heater/AC unit. i explained to the service rep the problem and that the actuator had just been replaced. The Register tech decided the actuator was the problem and replaced at a cost of over $700. Getting the van back the problem still persisted and was returned; this time the technician decided the problem was with a fuse box, to be fixed for another several hundred dollar. I declined to be serviced by technicians that just replace parts at high cost until they get lucky. Do not use Register Chevy. I would never buy from a dealership with such an incompetent service department. read more

Both times I've been in and out with my oil change completed in under an hour. Can't believe it-they are amazing. I was traveling yesterday in my Chevrolet bolt EV. I tried charging stations in the surrounding area which were out of service. I was so excited to find that there was a fast charger at Register Chevrolet. I have never encountered a more rude and dismissive person as I encountered with Jacob. I know that one day he will need help and someone will treat him the same as he treated me. I would never step foot in this dealership again. I had the opposite experience with Buick down the street. They were very kind, welcoming and respectful. I would highly recommend going to them for your automotive needs. Tony Grima went above and beyond in attempts to help me. After writing this review, I called to speak with the general sales manager of Register Chevrolet to let him know what had transpired I could tell from his response that the charger was working and they also had another one. The management employees in the auto body shop are trained liars. The body shop is in such disarray that it will take months for simple repairs. The recalls were never into my vehicle not only work on my car without but being they to work on my property, causing me to not have it in a timely manner. I missed out on two days of work my children missed out on a day of school and my mother-in-law with dementia. appointment all for something that they should've called and scheduled an appointment they should've never tore my car apart without permission for any type of recall, let alone for a heated steering wheel. I would prefer my two days of pay over a heated steering wheel not once was I offered a loaner. Brought my car in for an oil change, tire balance and rotation. I know for a fact they do not rotate the tires because the manufacturer tire number was in the same position on my car as it was when I brought it in. So I don't even know for sure if they actually did an oil change, they were supposed to do tire rotation and balancing and I don't even know if they did that. Did they even put my car on the lift? Steer clear.. I think I'm going to have to start going to pep boys or maybe this Auto or national tire and battery to get my oil changed in the future... I had two body work claims, one insurance claim and one out-of-pocket claim. The problems started from the beginning when I told them I needed to drop the car off on a Sunday evening after they said they had all the parts in for the insurance repair. We drove both of our vehicles there only to find their parking lot with locked gates, so you have to leave your vehicle out by a busy state road with your keys in a cheesy metal box. If they had explained that to me I would have made arrangements to drop it off during business hours. You can bet they deny any liability if it isn't on their property. So I delivered the car on Monday June 27th and left them verbal and written instructions they were only authorized to do the insurance claim. I wanted to see their caliber of work before authorizing the more expensive repair. They told me that Monday the repair would take three or four days as it was just a dented rear quarter panel. The following Friday July 1st I called to check if the car was ready and the service coordinator (Tyrone) told me they had dissembled the front end and they were going to have to increase their estimate. He went on to tell me they had not even started the rear quarter panel repair which he went on to explain it was just a body work repair and they did not order parts for it as I had been told previously. Tyrone blamed all this on a front office employee that had quit on Tuesday! At that point I told them since they had not even started the only repair I authorized them to do that I needed them to put the car back together and that I would need to pick up the car to have repairs completed elsewhere. I was told they would try to have it reassembled by Tuesday July 5th. When I called Tuesday afternoon and left a voicemail for Tyrone he never returned my call. So Wednesday morning I called again for him but another employee said he wasn't in and after checking it out, she told me it was ready to be picked up. They offered no apology, no offer to try to make it right to keep my business, nothing. I'll never recommend Register Chevrolet for anything (purchase or repair) and plan on never doing business with them again. William B. read more

RUN away from this dealership! WORST experience possible. The general manager Greg is the shadiest person I have ever dealt with. All the way around, this was the worst vehicle buying experience I have ever had. I was under contract for a truck, Bank of America was taking a while with the financing, so my husband gave them a cashier's check directly from Bank of America. Precisely what the dealership told us to do. When my husband arrived to purchase the truck, everyone treated him terribly and accused him of forging a cashier check directly from Bank of America. After wasting his entire afternoon, they told him he had to come back on Monday. When he was supposed to return on Monday, they claimed the truck had a recall and could not be released. The financing from Bank of America came through, and they held on to the check for almost a week and sold the truck to someone else for what I expected was for more money. Then instead of just sending the financing check back to Bank of America, they sent it to us. I have no truck, but I have an active loan connected to a truck on my credit report. We had a contract. It's unbelievable just to sell it to someone else. Take your business anywhere else but here! read more

UPDATE: 5/4/16 One of the repair items was a complete roof reseal due to a leak around the bath skylight. Today was the most rain since the "repairs". I got back to my RV this evening to find my bed soaked and many items in the bedroom soaked as well. YET ANOTHER "repair" they either did not do or did wrong!!! GM says the adjustment should be covered under warranty and another dealership in New Port Richey says they will gladly adjust it for me. But, after the service manager at Register called me back again today to tell me there's no way for me to get him or his techs to do their job, I'm going to see if he was right about GM having no intrest in making him honor my warranty by adjusting my brake. I tried to calling Mr. Smith today, the President of Register, but my message was ignored. Register Chevrolet in Brooksville, treated me very poorly, they refused to repair a faulty gas tank seal on my Chevy Venture Van. The recall was clear, it showed my make model and year of my vehicle down to the engine size. They agreed to repair it, and the changed their minds. They said it had to do with a VIN# issue? The recall was clear and even had a memo from the National Highway Safety Board showing it as a safety hazard. After repeated discussions with everyone from the service manager who treated me as if I were a criminal and I had to accept their offer that was nothing short of a plea deal, "Take it or leave it" was his exact wording. The GM and eventually the owner Mr. Stuart Smith towed the line. Now did I mention that we bought a brand new Equinox from them in May? Oh yeah $25 K went in their pocket, and now they showed their true colors. I even gave their GM an offer on another vehicle they had there and asked him to work up a deal on it.......Crickets , silence from them. The issue is that every time we go to Register for service it's a hassle. My wife se up to drop her truck off for an oil change and the representative on the phone said drop it off on Friday and we will have it done by noon on Saturday. Well we go there today at 10am to drop it off and are told we can't promise you it will be done tomorrow. Ask to speak to a manager and one cannot be found. I was a long time Register customer for 25 years when they had a small dealership in downtown Brooksville. I bought a lot of cars over the years and sent friends there. My wife was going through Chemotherapy for cancer and I bought my 2005 car in for service a few years back. My car needed a oil change and had a warranty issue. I had a ride home but asked him if I could get a ride later when my car was done so my wife who had her treatment the day before didn't have to drive me back. The service writer asked the courtesy driver and said since I lived a few miles from their cutoff they could not help me. I told them I was a long term customer and they said no. Long story short my wife drove me and I told them that f my satisfaction and called to talk to the GM. He had nothing to say and didn't care. I have not been back since. I had my battery fixed for the recall here. It took a month and a half to get the parts for it. Once they were available, I made my appointment with Tina for Monday and she said it would be done by Thursday. They provided a rental but did not cover gas so that had to come out of my pocket. I don't usually pay for gas since the Bolt is electric. She called me Wednesday saying it was ready so on his lunch break my husband and I, along with my 6 month old, went to go pick up our car. The plan was to pick up the car and drop off the rental at enterprise but Register took too long to get my car. They didn't even know where it was. The lady was trying to set off the alarm outside but couldn't find it so she had to get someone to go fetch it. By the time I got my car my husbands lunch break was almost over so we had to go back home. Leaving no time to return the rental. Now Register wants me to cover the charge for the rental for a day. And don't get me started on trying to contact managers. It always goes to voicemail. This dealership does not care about its customers. read more

Never coming back to this place. I ordered a part for my car from a man named Ryan, who got fired a week later and never put my order in. After two weeks of waiting I called, they told me he was fired and they ordered my part again, or so I thought. I called again after two weeks because they told me that's how long the part would take to come in and I wanted to get my car fixed. Again they didn't order the part. I finally was told I need to pay for the part before they could order it. Really? Nobody could have told me that in the first place?! Now today, I go in, because nobody in services answers the phone, I finally get the part, it's not painted and they couldn't find the part. They find the part, and send me over to the body shop to get it painted and now I have to play the waiting game again. I've been nothing but polite and nice and have been treated like I don't matter. If you want to get the run around, and wait forever for someone to help you,or get work you need done,then this is the place for you. Otherwise stay far away from here. I purchased a 2021 Tahoe Texas edition back in September of 2021. A month after purchase the check engine light turned on and I had to drive my vehicle to Register Chevrolet. Samantha, my service advisor told me the issue was with the brake system and that the car was not drivable. They had to order the piece which was on back order. One day we went to get something of the car and they left the door opened and my car was full of water and smelly inside. After weeks... The last week of December we got our car back. They had "fixed" the car. The next morning less than 24 hours later we were driving my daughter to a dental appointment and lost control of the car almost causing an accident. The brakes went off again. We had to get the car towed back to the dealer. To find out again the car had the same brake module issue and they had to replace the whole system. Now, the piece is back ordered again. Insane how they played with my safety, I have kids and I didn't spend over 100k to be dealing with this drama. I need my car to be fix. read more

I'd give them a zero if I could. My sons Chevy was brought there over 4 months ago for an accident he was in. Not our choice was done by insurance. Ive called and called but was met with a very rude man in the auto department who basically told us he didn't tell us to have the car brought there to be fixed, and that he was too busy. I then was transferred to his boss who was helpful at first and got the fix rolling. he then texted me a week later telling me there was more damage to the car than thought and it needs a new transmission, and they'd be calling insurance to get it covered. I have since reached out 3 times to check on the car with no response but the messages were read by him. We have now been over 4 months without a car and no help at all from them in any way. this is the worst Chevy dealer I've ever dealt with. paying on a car and insurance for this long to have no vehicle and end in sight!! If your Chevrolet is old and is in need of repair, DO NOT take it to Register Chevrolet. All they will do is try to aggravate you to the point of buying a new vehicle. I took my 1993 Silverado to Register Chevrolet because my water pump needed replacing and I figured that as long as they were at it, I would have them replace my thermostat and perform a cooling system flush because there appeared to be a fair amount of rust and sludge buildup in my radiator and hoses. Five days later, my truck was ready. I paid $847.00 and went on my merry way thinking my truck would, at the very least, be running just as good, if not better than it was before my water pump went. I didn't even get half way home before my temperature gauge shot up into the red zone. I stopped and looked under the hood and it was obvious they did not flush anything. I had it towed back to Register and when I told them I wanted them to do the cooling system flush that I had paid for, the mechanic said it would not do any good because the rust and sludge would just come back again. This can only mean one of two things. Either they let me pay for something that was not done or they went ahead and did it knowing it would do no good. When I complained to the service manager, he decided he would blame it on a bad temperature sensor and charge me another $100.00 to replace it. I let him replace the sensor knowing full well that was not the problem but I figured I would give him the benefit of a doubt. When I went to pick up my truck the second time, they used another crooked tactic of theirs by acting like no one could find the paperwork or my keys because the service manager had them and he was at lunch when he was actually in the break room no more than 10 feet away from me. I know this because the person that was supposed to be helping me stuck her head inside their break room to tell him I was there and I overheard him say that I would just have to wait. Good thing I brought a spare set of keys with me. I got in my truck and left without paying them for replacing a perfectly good temperature sensor. I took my truck to a REAL mechanic who could actually diagnose the problem and fix what needed fixing rather than jerk me around. It turns out that I needed a cooling system flush because debris from my cooling system was clogging up my new water pump and thermostat. IMAGINE THAT REGISTER!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
