They offer a quick pick-it buffet similar to many similar type eateries along Roosevelt Ave that offer 4 dishes & 1 Soup (四菜一湯) with rice. The hot buffet table is loaded with many different pork, chicken, tofu & vegetable dishes to choose from whatever the chef wanted to cook for the day. Some are spicy and some are mild, so choose wisely. You can get 3 choices for $8 or 4 choices for $10 and it comes with a cup of soup, usually a pork bone broth and you may or may not get a piece of meat in it or maybe even a piece of winter melon. The serving ladies will load up a clamshell container with white rice and you can just point at what you want. They may or may not understand English if you ask what some dishes are and my Cantonese doesn't fly here either. I like the brightly neon colored sweet & sour pork riblets, get some choy sum leafy vegetables or some of the sliced pork & tofu. There are also various forms of stewed tripe or other offal with potatoes or turnips. Sometimes there are whole fried fish, too. My favorite is the soy sauce chicken leg, which I've gotten as a drumstick, thigh or cut up pieces. You can double up on your choices if you really like something.

Weeks later, I realized I was still charged and had to go through my bank to dispute it. I decided to give them another chance today, and unfortunately, it wasn't any better. I ordered llapingacho, which is supposed to come with peanut sauce, but the dish was served without it. When I asked, the waitress mentioned the sauce "wasn't ready," and later confirmed it had just started cooking and wouldn't be ready in time. This should have been communicated before ordering, not after the food was already served. It felt like they just gave me an incomplete dish and expected me to accept it. My brother also ordered a steak meal for over $20, and the portion was shockingly small--more like a child's serving--hidden under a large, bland salad with tasteless rice. I also ordered a bolón mixto to go, and when I got home, I noticed it only came with one sauce that was barely half-filled.
