    Tom yum vegetable soup

Wanted to give this restaurant a try. It appears to be a family run restaurant. Service is prompt and friendly. Food portions are on the larger size than what's served in many similar restaurants. Taste of the food is flavorful. We ordered some appetizers (soft shell crab salad, fried squid, chicken larb salad, scallops, & spring rolls). My favorite was the squid! Everyone seemed happy with the choices. For main, we ordered a curry duck, assorted pad Thai's, crispy pad Thai, Tim yum soup, and pad see ew. I liked the crispy pad Thai with duck - different. Then we had the mango sticky rice for dessert. Server came around to fill our water glasses which was appreciated. A good find and a good experience.

I'm not sure if they just changed the name or management but it's a "new" place. I hadn't been here in a while as the old place wasn't my first choice for Thai but the inside is nicely decorated and a nice vibe as well. The food was delicious and they definitely had traditional dishes. They have definitely moved up on my list now and I'll be back soon.

Great service and great food. All of the food tasted really good. I was the the mood for some mango sticky rice and this hit the spot. I'll recommend this local spot for anyone craving for Thai food!

This place has 20% off the total bill for all dine in and take out meals. That's what caught my eye. When we entered the lady who greeted us was very friendly and told us to sit anywhere. We chose and decided to sit way inside to avoid the draft. It was empty on a Friday night so that was something of a concern, but decided to give it a shot. Foodwise, I ordered the seafood pad thai for myself. It looked like egg designed into different square or rectangle shapes ok the dish. Also, I tried the chicken drunken noodles which was alright and the chicken basil fried rice. For dessert, the vanilla ice cream with the fried ice cream hit the spot. Everything came out pretty fast so the service was great. Overall, I would recommend this spot for a Thai spot.

I walked by this seemingly unassuming place and was drawn in by the fact that it was new. I'm glad I stopped in because I was greeted by friendly staff as I walked in. I felt so attended to throughout the meal. The Roti was warm and buttery, one of the best I've had. It was also very fairly priced for the portion size! It was a must get to pair with the Khao Soi, since I liked dipping it in. The chicken in the Khao Soi was tender, and there was a good ratio of meat to noodles. I liked the flavor. The Thai Tea was a refreshing way to end the meal. At nighttime, this spot is very moody and cozy. I plan to return again, maybe for a lunch!

Saturday afternoon lunch before an appointment as the Power of One. It has been a long while to be engrossed and consume Thai cuisine. I am finally making progress in my Yelp bookmark to try because you have to try. I was pressed for time as my appointment time was drawing near. Pad Kee Mao is always my predilection for Thai culinary cuisine as my default choice of entree with Thai iced tea. This dish is similar to the Chinese Cantonese version of beef chow fun 乾炒牛河 (gon1 caau2 ngau4 ho4*2) which evoke memories of my childhood of dining in Chinese restaurants with my family as the common denominator is fried wide flat dried rice noodles. Ahh, nostalgia... Phat Khee Mao with shrimp (Drunken Noodles/Chili Basil Noodles) $18.90 This is a prepared very well and it was very flavorful. This entree is the only Thai entree that I can tolerate a slightly medium heat index on the Scoville scale. I am not a spicy food intake girl and I surely do not use hot sauce. Soy sauce and oyster sauce is how I embedded taste in Asian foods in my home as condiments. I am always enamored with wide flat dried rice noodles since childhood which is cooked on a wok with a very high fire. The Thai basil and red chilies peppers were not overpowering the noodles for minimal quantity as the main protagonist, but was the lead for flavor and heat. I decide to add shrimp as my choice of protein as I can never attain sufficient shrimp for my foodie interest. The shrimp was average. I like the vegetables for string bean and carrot. There were onions. I did not care for the one piece of zucchini, undesirable and unwanted. This entree was served piping hot as steam is visible for rising temperature, but fresh and flavorful. I do not recommend consuming this entree frequently due to the high cholesterol from high sodium content and high grease intake for possible weight gain as health risk. To combat this high greasy fried food ingestion, later in the day, I burnt these calories by exercising rigorously in a gym until closing time. Thai iced tea $4.50 There is a reason for Thai iced tea as my default drink for spicy foods. Thai ice tea contains milk which is an acidic agent to neutralize the heat. It contains sugar and condensed milk served chilled. The milk did cool my mouth from the chilies peppers which enable me to continue consuming to the entirety. My eyes were not watery and my mouth return to normalcy. Customer service is attentive as there is only one server who was the female officer captain leading the ship to sail with patrons that is moderately busy on a Saturday afternoon. It was not entirely busy and I immediately attain a table as the Power of One. It was neither packed nor crowded. Staff automatically assume customers cannot use chopsticks as I was immediately provided a fork, but I was pressed for time to make my appointment to request and then wait for chopsticks that I quickly devoured my entree. This restaurant has a modern contemporary Asian atmosphere and I was listening to lounge music in the background. I believe Norah Jones' "Sunrise" was playing, but I like "Come Away With Me." No comment for the facilities as I did not utilize. Takeout menus are readily available for grabs.

    Drunken noodles (tofu, veggie, egg)
    Stephanie R.

Came for lunch and loved every second of it! It was full on a weekend for lunch, so make reservations if you can. The noodles were flavorful and delicious - not oily or dry and had way more veggies in the dish that I was so happy about! The real star was Paul - he is the kindest and most sweet person that works there. He went out of his way to offer different ways to split our bill, came prepared with boxes for takeout, and has the best energy (give him a raise and everything he asks for!!). Will definitely be back and hope we get to see Paul again sometime soon

    Crab fried rice

With an almost perfect rating on Yelp, this was an easy dinner choice for me and my dining companion once we decided on Thai food. We arrived just after opening and had the space to ourselves for the beginning and most of the dining time-- absent many patrons picking up take-out orders. The menu prices were as expected, if not better. We started off with waters and thai iced tea (minus the milk). We quickly decided on the krab ragoon (my FAVE of the night), money bags and sprint rolls. The money bags were good bur paled in comparison to the krab ragoon. I should have stuck with my initial thought and ordered the green curry. My dining companion ordered red curry so I opted for crab fried rice. The red curry was amongst the best I've ever tried-- so flavorful! The crab fried rice was good, not great. Even with a spicier level requested it didn't meet my expectation. Overall a great Thai option with ample seating, nice decor and parking spaces right out front that I would recommend.

    6. Crab Rangoon
    Carrie C.

Visited for dinner today and left so satisfied! Everything we ordered was so good. For a starter we got the crab rangoon. For entrees we ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and the roasted duck curry. The fried rice was pretty standard but the duck curry was out of this world. So flavorful and the portion is more than generous. Served with white rice, it's a perfect combination of sweetness from the curry and so much savory flavor coming from the duck. Our server was the cutest woman, always checking up on us. Even offered Thai iced tea (this was too sweet for our liking but still good). She made our dining experience even better with her positivity and good vibes. Overall highly recommend checking this place out! It's in forest hills and really convenient to take a walk to the shopping strip a few blocks away. They are also offering 20% your bill right now which excludes lunch specials but such a good deal for dinner. Don't miss out!

The menu here is straightforward and the restaurant is neat and tidy. The lady that was serving us was sweet and promptly attended to us. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the fact that the food was as super spicy as I requested. I took pad see ew to go for my friend and she is still raving about her meal days later. I strongly suggest visiting this spot in the area if you want fresh, fulfilling food.

My only note is that it could've used more greens. The single layer of lettuce on the bottom didn't quite cut it. I understand why it's done that way, adding more might make it soggy, but something like crisp like raw string beans or haricots verts could add both freshness and volume without sacrificing texture. Still, overall, I really really enjoyed it! The grilled beef over vermicelli was solid, fresh and flavorful, but the small container of fish sauce wasn't quite enough to tie everything together. Unfortunately, the spring rolls were a letdown. They were rolled unevenly, which led to uneven frying, and they just didn't look very appealing. They were also thinner than typical Vietnamese spring rolls, which was disappointing given the price.

The food is flavorful and great portions. The pho had enough meat and noodles. The broth was great and not incredibly salty as some other places. The rice dishes were plentiful and superb serving of meat. The sandwich would have been a solid winner if they didn't pack it in aluminum foil which causes sogginess. I would recommend using the paper/waxy bags or even just a paper bag to maintain the crispiness of the bread. But a softer bread did not takeaway from the powerful punch of flavor and the right balance of ingredients in the sandwich. Divine! So tasty and would get it again - perhaps I'll toast it on my own. Definitely a good banh mi choice in Queens. The price is fantastic. Keep it this way and you'll have a constant fan base returning. Great food, great prices and service was fast and kind when I went to pick up. On top of that, their interior looks adorable so would consider dining in next time. This restaurant will now be on our rotation of Viet spots. Wishing them much success.
