I had heard of shared spaces but wasn't sure if it would work. I shopped around looking at various shared spaces and decided to go with Co-Lab. It was the best deal out of all the different co-working places. Miguel was very accommodating, loved the idea of having an IT person on site, and was able to set up a space suitable for my type of business. The best part is that I'm saving so much money running my business from here verses renting an office alone and adding up the cost of Internet, Office supplies, furniture, etc. Co-Lab is in a vibrant area with lots of businesses nearby. I've been able to expand my clientele just by being in this location and still maintain my existing clients. My clients even commented on the space, saying that it's such an improvement compared to my old location. They love that we can meet in a professional conference room, complete with white board, and flat screen TV. I no longer have to worry about printer supplies, internet expense, electric bills, high rent, it's month to month, no risk or commitment and the free coffee is a nice touch! It's a full service, state of the art professional office space without the huge overhead of one. If you're looking for a place to run your business, or a cost effective way to begin your start-up, Co-Lab is the place. When we signed the agreement, we told them we only needed the space for one month and they said they'd charge us for two but we would get a refund after the month was up. A few weeks into our renting the space, we received a contract that was to last until the end of the year. We let them know, again, that we only needed space for one month. We received written confirmation letting us know the contract was terminated. The one month is up and not only did we not get the promised refund for the additional month, they charged us for 3 more months! I would not recommend using Regus after our experience and we will be looking at other options should we need temporary office space in the future.

Secondly, they billed me for another month after I had given my notice (and they accepted it- btw, 60 day notice) and getting the money back was a huge hassle. Finally, they slap on a $122 "exit fee" upon termination. Like I said, it's a nice facility and the on-site people are great but the organization itself needs improvement.

I was able to get a next day afternoon service and was quoted $195 for first 45 minutes ($90 visit fee plus 45 Min at $105 which is $35 for each 15 minutes) which very reasonable compared to other quotes I got. Kurt and Luis arrived promptly on time after getting a text that they were on the way -- I called the office and Kelly confirmed where they were coming from which was nice. They efficiently took care of removing our old metal pipe, then rodded the line which had a tricky bend, and then replaced with PVC and even included an access cover upon my request. Kurt was an expert and very courteous as well as Luis! They even took off their shoes since it was a little wet outside which was not expected but appreciated.
