I assumed that my insurance had covered it and assumed it was taken care of since I hadn't heard anything. Come to find out, my account was filled in as "self pay" even though I had insurance at the time. Fast forward to 10 days ago when I received my very first bill where they also informed me that they would be passing my bill onto collections if I didn't pay by the 15th of December. I called and talked to Mary in billing and she said she would email me paperwork to fix it so that I was able to make payments. I agreed after she was extremely defensive because I expressed my disappointment in being billed 3 years later and right before Christmas. I never ended up revieving any paperwork and checked my email everyday for the last week. She then emailed me yesterday, with the paperwork, and said that she would be sending me to collections because I didn't send in the paperwork. I have NEVER been sent to collections in my life! I pay my bills and have never been so disgusted with the way I've been treated for the last week and a half from a business. Please do you and your family a favor and run far away from this office!

My wife and my son used this clinic a couple of times when we first moved to the area. While the doctors and staff are generally nice sometimes they seem to pressed for time and can get agitated. I believe it is more of a policy problem. It is their policy when you come in for treatment that you may only be seen for up to two health concerns. My wife needed help for several things and was rushed through the appointment without addressing one of the things she was most concerned with. On another occasion my son had an appointment with their counselor and was refused at the appointment because we were considering primary health care with another group of doctors. My wife and son were kindly shown to the door. While the doctors and staff, I think, are caring, the policies and procedures are not.

On my new patient appt, he ended up finding a troubling spot on my arm that he had biopsied, which came back as atypical. He needed to remove the rest of it and did that work for free. I probably wouldn't have noticed that spot without him--felt very lucky. He's a great doctor and a nice person. I feel lucky to have found a new doctor that I love (and I'm very picky!!!).

Dr. Gering has been my doctor for years, he's treated my grandparents as well and he's been great…read more He's the one that discovered my grandmas breast cancer when another doctor, whom she had been currently seeing, couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Gering took one look at her and found it early enough on to where she is still with us and he helped treat her until her recovery. He's very kind and he doesn't take chances, with him it's better safe than sorry.
