Nightmare on Elm street is what they call it. This place is rotten to the core from management all the way to the aides, cnas, nurses. If you try to advocate for your loved one that is being neglected and possibly abused from a gash on there head, a broken arm, a gash above there eye, and your loved one doesn't speak or walk to tell you what happened they will seek retaliation against you and your loved one. I went all the way up to the owner for my legitimate concerns and got no response. Called the state and got an ombudsmen who said everything is fine. Called over 100 nursing homes trying to get her out with nothing but we have no beds. Finally the last straw were huge blisters with pus on moms breast and all down her arm and they said it was nothing until I said send to ED now. ED admitted her and Doctor called nursing home to be told we don't know what happened. I worked with case management at hospital to not send her back to Everett and they found her a new home where I actually feel she is safe and taken very well cared for. Even if you have no where to put them bring them home until a decent nursing home accepts them. Everett doesn't care about there patients at ALL!!!! They love to torture them as the DON said to my mother oh you're crazy just like your daughter while I was standing there and she didn't see me. I could go on forever. It was a miracle from god that a bed opened up at a decent nursing home that took all my concerns very seriously. Why the state hasn't shut them down is beyond me. read more

DISGUSTING! There are cockroaches everywhere. The aids are lazy and leave their patients soaked for hours and don't change the pee soaked bed sheets. The nurses have nasty attitudes if you ask about your loved ones status/meds/etc. "I just got here I know nothing yet" with attitude. Theres food trays laying around all day. Always food on the floor everytime I'm there. The elevator is always filthy. The toilets are always clogged. TVs are always broken. The walls are nasty. I can think of plenty more complaints this is just off the top of my head. read more

Everett Rehabilitation is one of the worst places I have ever been to. I strongly suggest never sending a loved one there. My father was supposed to go there for a few weeks for physical therapy. As soon as you walk in, there is a strong smell of urine. My father was on the second floor. The staff are uncaring and didn't even talk to the patients when they were taking care of them. One of the nursing assistants was even moving my father's broken arm around to try and take his blood pressure. I had to tell him that my father's arm was broken and to stop. He didn't know. They don't pay attention to the patients and they wander the halls all day going in and out of other patients rooms. I found one going through my father's drawers. We sent clothes with him, but he always had on someone else's things. My father went downhill fast and even stopped eating. They let him sit all day in soiled diapers. He got a bed sore. When the nurse called me about it, she tried to downplay it and told me that they were going to give him oral antibiotics to try and heal it. After everything I saw there, I told them to send him back to the hospital immediately. The hospital staff told me that the sore was so big and deep, that you could see his bone. They had to repeatedly surgically remove the dead tissue and try and get the infection under control. The Dr's at the hospital said that it should never have gotten that bad. My father was at Everett Rehab for less than a week. He ended up dying about two weeks later. DO NOT SEND ANYONE THERE THAT YOU CARE ABOUT! read more

Best place for care. My mom is residing here and the nursing staff goes above and beyond to take excellent care of the patients

My mother had a surgery and came there and had a smooth recovery I thank you guys soo much! You guys did a fantastic job with my mom.

If i could give a -million stars I would and yes i mean a negative 1million stars.. this place is DISCUSTING, ABUSIVE, NEGLECTFUL OF THEIR PATIENTS. I would not even want to send my worst enemy to this place!!! Bed sores, not bathing, not being attentive to the needs and care of patients/residents. Allowing a resident who is on a strict purée diet due to aspiration and choking history to grab a hotdog off of someone else tray and he nearly choked to death and had to be rushed to hospital!!!!!! I don't wanna hear the bullshit of an excuse and blame on the resident I don't care if he is combative at times i wonder why? I mean really they are people not animals and that's how they are treated. My father in law is soooooooo neglected i wanna literally close the place down myself. He drops weight like crazy, his toenails were so dirty even at the hospital where he went to choking on a hotdog he wasnt supposed to have, cleaning his toes were gross, he smells dur to not bathing and has about 3 sores on his hips...... their is hardly enough staff and the ones they do have are either lazy or are totally ignorant and disrespectful yelling at my sister in law because she was concerned about her fathers bed having no side rails. Hello he is a fall risk dumb ass!!! The EMT didn't even want us to stay there and told staff we needed a different bed at which point the 1 aide and 1 nurse went to another room and took another bed from resident let me guess? Swap a bed? There were a female resident screaming in her room where a male aide was giving her a wash in her wheel chair she was completely naked and uncomfortable and yelling at aide to stop and how she had soap in her eyes. I was mortified I even checked in room to see if she was ok. He picked her up and put her on bed pretty hard at which she continued to yell to leave her alone because he was hurting her!!!! No one gives a shit!!!!! Another resident had a mat on the floor next to bed.... is this how we prevent a fall out of bed now for a elderly resident? I really am disgusted and mortified and i can't believe these people have to call this piece of shit hole home. I will be doing my best to get my father in law out of there and i will be calling everyone i can to shit this place down... the photo below is his pants they had on him. GROSS!!!!! read more

I stayed here after a total knee replacement. The staff was courteous and always smiling. Food was good as well. I was hesitate to come after reading reviews online with my daughter but most of the staff are new to the building and it was very delightful. I recently had to place a loved one in the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Everett. I found the facility to be immaculate with updates in process. There was not smell or odors you may see in some nursing facilities. The admissions person Dawn was extremely helpful and caring and told me that if she couldn't not help me, that she would find the right person to help. She was always approachable and empathetic. My family then got to meet the Administrator Chad. He was actually answering a call light himself when we were waiting for him. He was very professional gave us a huge amount of time to ask questions, he took us on a tour, and when we arrived with my loved one, he was waiting at the door with the rest of the staff to greet my loved one and family. Mike and Ryan could not do enough for us to help set up the room to what made my family comfortable. Chad and his staff cares about every inch of that facility but more importantly they care about their residents/patients. Nicole the social worker, Nancy in the business office, and Bea the Director of Nursing all work very closely as a team and they have made this transition for my loved one a positive one. Each room was clean, the halls, bathrooms, and nurses stations were clean and organized. The nurses aides were actually ambulating their patients. One aide even went and sat with my loved one when I had to leave to help him feel not alone and made him feel comfortable his first night there. Yes years ago this facility may have had a bad reputation, but it has changed drastically for the better. The state would not keep it open if it was not changing for the better. I loved my family member dearly and I have a been a nurse myself for 16 years, and I was impressed. It's not the building or dated fixtures that matter, it's the care the staff delivers, and yes there has been remodeling done. read more
