My 8 year old son was taken here to get a procedure done on his big toe due to it being chronically…read moreingrown. From what my husband said; the procedure went smoothly and my son was pretty much pain free. I was relieved it hear that. It was not until a few days later when I noticed that my son's skin had a superficial burn from a substance called "phenol". So not only is he trying to recover from a partial nail avulsion, he now has his skin peeling off and is red and angry and swollen all over versus just where the procedure was. Now I am not particularly upset that the burn happened, things happen and I'm it was not malicious in anyway from Dr. Roemer. His follow up visit; I finally met Dr. Roemer and he notices the burn and points out that it's from the phenol. I said "yeah, I know." He looked surprised I knew and said "you know?" I explained that I had posted a photo of his toe on a podiatry FB group to sort out what was happening. He responds with "well you could've asked me instead of posting that photo everywhere for people to guess what it is." I explained that it wasn't random people and was run by podiatrists. He says "well I'm a podiatrist". Cool? Between his tone, demeanor and complete lack of empathy for my distress seeing my child in additional pain and for my son to go through that...I've never met someone so condescending considering he screwed up and caused further injury to my 8 year old child. Not once did he apologize for it happening and causing him additional pain. He has another follow up, but after that is completed, that will be our last visit with this doctor.

I was not happy about my experience here. I felt very rushed to both. My appointments waited over…read morean hour the first time to go back and almost 30 minutes. The second time I understand people run behind and usually that doesn't bother me but whenever you get back there, and the doctor stands in the doorway, doesn't even look at your feet or examining you and just Says what he has to say and rushes out it's not very professional to me .. I told him I needed something checked on my dough. He walked back in and says what? very rude. I hope that other people have a better experience than I did. I will not be going back there just to be rushed out the door and nothing addressed.

After being referred here because my podiatrist recommended I go to Lauren for dry needling, I was contacted quickly to establish myself as a patient. Tiff and Rae hold down the front desk and are wonderful. They are so down to earth, funny and all around good people. They go out of their way to chat and get to know you. They are also very understanding if you need to reschedule an appointment. Lauren is very knowledgeable and professional and no doubt is the reason I got over my plantar fasciitis. She helped explain everything, gave me home exercises and dealt with my whining dying dry needling! I also worked with Steve and he was also great. This is an outstanding physical therapy practice and I highly recommend them for anyone who is recovering from an injury. They are a small practice and care about their patients. After…read morefinding out that I had a labral hip tear, I was told that I would need surgery to fix the pain associated with it. I am a 36 year old woman and I could barely lift my leg to get dressed, walking hurt, going up a hill was incredibly difficult, and I could no longer sit on the floor with my children for any length of time. I did a bit of my own research and decided to give physical therapy a try before surgery (with a very lengthy recovery). I am so thankful that I chose Jackson Clinics!! Rob and Rae were both wonderful! I broke my back at 12 and have been through quite a few different physical therapy programs. I have never had such success!! The amount of knowledge Rob has in his field is unprecedented, in my experience. If you are willing to do the exercises, I believe you'll have success as well!! I worked out frequently before going into therapy but Rob pushed me every time I asked for more. I truly believe that I will not have to ever have surgery with the coping techniques he taught me. I am so grateful for that!! If you are in need of physical therapy, you seriously can't go wrong with Jackson Clinics in Hagerstown!! I'd recommend this clinic above all else!

The treatment, numerous shots into the ball of my foot, were painful and made my problem worse. The doctor I consulted afterwards was confused by the treatment that I received I went there based on online reviews, it was a big mistake. Important message: if you don't like the practice after a visit, don't give it the benefit of the doubt based on online reviews. Follow your instincts and don't go back!

I got tired of the constant push to sell $40 nail polish or $40 foot cream. He talked me into a biopsy on my foot and I still don't believe it was pre-cancerous. I do like getting the orthotics and top-of-the-line tennis shoes once a year. And he is a caring doctor and good conversationalist. I just learned to say no and I don't need an appointment for every little thing! I'll pick up the orthotics when the shoes come in and I don't need a follow up appointment to see how they feel
