What's good about this place: 1. Assembly line chain pulls car through so minimal waiting 2. "Soft touch" brushes--I like these, because I think they clean better than "touchless". 3. Free vacuums. 4. IF you want to go a lot, and can stand membership plans, they have a good membership plan. What keeps it from being a 5: 1. No menu of washes, so it is expensive--$25 last time I went. 2. A little tricky getting in and out--be careful!! I wanted to get all the sand out of the truck before I left Rehoboth. I pre-washed the bed and rinsed the rear of the truck prior to taking it to this carwash. I was the 12th car in line. From start to finish... the car wash took 48 minutes. The service is very slow. RIght before I was up next, the staff went inside grabbed a slice of pizza and ate it while sitting in the car in front of me. Regardless this is a car wash, you should NEVER eat in a customer's car. When I left, there was still sand in the bed of the truck and dried sand all over the back step of the truck. +1 star because one staff member brought to my attention that the antenna may get snapped off during the wash and that the threadding was rusted. read more

Will be contesting my credit card charge. What a racket...$20.00 is the only choice for a wash unless you want to pay $25.00 for a monthly pass. I do not live anywhere near this area so that was not an option. Only wanted to wash the salt water off from our ferry ride the night before. The wash did a terrible job leaving streaks and soap all over the back end of the van. When I complained to the manager he told me to run it though again and "maybe" it might be better...it wasn't. He refused to give refund when I first asked and insisted I go through again. I did not bother to talk to him after the second terrible wash as I knew he was not going to offer my refund. This is now called Mr. Car Wash and not Rehoboth Car Wash. This was my first time here to get my Audi washed at this automatic drive through car wash off of route 1 north. I decided to go with their one time car wash fee of $20, which included their regular car wash for $15 plus their lava wax for $5 or $20 in total. I used my credit card to pay. I am not sure if you can purchase only the regular car wash for only $15 without the additional lava wax for an extra $5. They also offer a monthly unlimited car wash plan with a higher price, which I decided against, since I don't visit this area often. Overall I was pleased with the quality of this car wash although I will investigate other alternative drive through automatic car washes in the area, because I felt this place was a bit expensive. There are many self service DIY car washes in this area, which are probably more affordable. read more

Car wash is ok and the vacuums usually, not always, work well. But it has become overpriced. Once again, they increased the prices by $5.00 for the monthly unlimited. There are ALWAYS more staff there than is needed. Sometimes 3 or 4 employees stranding around the entrance gates with nothing to do, just talking. Of course they probably have to increase prices to pay for all those unnecessary employees. Seems poorly managed. I guess the pricing is acceptable to people who use it weekly. But not to others who don't. Now that inflation has slowed, it is another example of a business raising prices without justification. Will look elsewhere and I'm sure I am not alone. read more

I took my car to Mr Wash and had a horrible experience. The equipment ripped off the cover to my windshield washer compartment. I had to hunt down someone to help me. All the employees were huddled together at kiosk. When I explained what happened I was met with blank stares. Finally the manager came out of his office and said there was nothing to do except file a report which was useless. The corporate person wrote to me and said they wouldn't fix the damage their equipment made. Insult to injury, their equipment wasn't working well and left my car covered with soap. The company didn't offer to refund my money. This company is a sham. They destroy automobiles and their wash is horrible. Do not use them. read more

I love the self-vacuum bays as there's this metal board perfect for my 5'11" self to clip floor mats to while cleaning them. Lots of suction really did a fabulous job on my sedan. But folks with pickups and massive SUVs were having no problem with the vacuum hoses reaching. Price is extremely fair as it includes a second wash within 30 days -- and you can bring your "other" car, or a friend's car or whatever. But the grit here on the coast means my vehicle should need to go through it again within another few weeks. There are solar panels nearby -- wondering if it's using solar power -- which would be another plus. I know it was remodeled a few years ago, and my husband was here after it reopened in 2018? 2019? I then went to the car was and was told by the manager that all cancellations are to be done on their website. I went to the website and completed the form and hit Submit. I went to this car wash after hearing multiple recommendations from people in the area. My friend goes here approx weekly and loves it! I would say they did a very good job. My car was gross when I took it in. They vacuumed the interior, washed the windows inside and out, wiped down the interior, and of course washed the exterior. My car looks really good! I took it home and wiped down some spots they missed such as door jams. Overall, an impressive car wash. I will be back! Prices start at $15 for the basic package. If you want just an exterior wash, you can get that for less. $3 off coupons can be found on their website and currently on the back of receipts at Giant supermarket. This car wash was the greatest when it first opened up. It did a great job and your car was super clean. Now that there are a thousand cars a day going through the wash absolutely sucks. I took my car to Mr. wash the other day. I drove in with a perfectly beautiful used car and drove out with a car that had its right side passenger mirror ripped off. The staff working there were marvelous and sent my concern and the report to Mr. wash corporate. I paid the $20 for a wash. After exiting the car wash I drove directly to Royal Farms ( approx. 4 blocks) to get gas. When I got out of my truck I noticed that the back window was covered in soap suds. On further inspection I saw that the bed had about 3" of soap suds in it and the outside of the gate was covered in soap like the back window. I returned to the car wash. I was told that because it is a pickup truck the suds in the bed are normal but not on the window or tailgate. I told them that I have been there many times and it never happened before so I don't agree that it's "normal". They sent me through again with the same results. They said "Hmmm...unusual, can we take pictures?" I said sure and they took the pictures and walked away without offering a refund or even an apology. Today was my last visit there. read more

Been by here a couple of times, so i thought id try it out, thought I'd yelp about it. In june it was busy. Had to wait like 10 mins not bad considering. The woman who greeted us was nice and friendly. Its not always so clean what is going on when its so busy but I followed the flow asked the girl where do I go. There was like 6 guys all over the car and within 6 mins it was clean. Windows were nicely done. Carpets were clean wish my shoes were cleaner. With it being so busy and an assembly line just thought it would be more friendly and welcoming. U cant beat the low price. Good quality. And speedyness. I will be back :-) read more

I have been here after it reopened. I had the exterior wash. This place is now fully automated. No humans involved which is unfortunate because my wheels and rocker panels were just as dirty as when I took the car in. Under the old ownership even if you got an exterior car wash they cleaned inside your door frames. Hopefully they will get better as time goes on. They need someone at the exit looking at the cars to make sure they are cleaned. I did not notice the dirt till I got home since under the new management you never leave your car. read more

Poor interior cleaning, missed spots, lousy toweling your car dry (for instance, inside of doors are not dried as they are at other car washes). I wish there was a negative rating. Yes, the car wash was sold and it is even worse than before. A bad car wash with even worse service. They damaged my car and are taking no responsibility. One day, they started my car through the car wash and it was not on and then they turned it on right before I went through the drying cloths. My car was dry and dirty so the drying clothes caused a lot of scratches all over my black car which is less than a year old. Even though one of their employees watched the whole thing and the manager even knows what happened that day, they are taking no responsibility for the major damage to my paint job. I highly recommend staying away from this business unless you are okay with a company that conducts business in this manner. read more
