Unfortunately, the experience only got worse. The representative I spoke with was dismissive and unhelpful, and when I asked to speak with a manager, the attitude was no better. At no point did anyone seem interested in actually helping or even listening. What disappointed me most wasn't the charge itself, it was the complete lack of customer care afterward. I understand large companies may not feel the impact of losing a single customer, but we still have the right to choose where we spend our money, and we won't continue supporting a company that treats customers this way. Very disappointing experience.

The store has a good layout with everything clearly labeled and easy to find what you're looking for. The decorations are great! Makes me feel like I'm in the great outdoors! They do have some refurbished goods, and perhaps at times there are many, but I only spied a couple on my visit. A very few items were on sale, and you got a free tee with a $100 purchase, but other than that, it was all full priced gear. Now, what they make is high quality enough that I am happy to pay the standard price, however I'd done some research ahead of time, and the sleeping bag I was seeking was half price elsewhere. No matter, though, we were happy to check it out in person, along with their selection of hammocks, backpacks, cute pet camping supplies, and truly extensive variety of sleeping pads. Of all the things to be most impressed by, they have some seriously excellent pillows! We bought very comfortable cushy inflatable pillows for backpacking, but for car camping, I would have nabbed the ingenious memory foam filled ones, featuring a protective case that flips around to a cozy fabric cover, all in one! We also got a nice compression sack. The young man who assisted us was friendly and helpful, and happy to check their stock room for the specific sleeping bag I was interested in. Overall, a great experience, and I am pleased to support a local company that crafts such well and thoughtfully executed outdoor products.
