Same day service! Some times you need it today! Well this was one of those days... trying to go on a mini trip and my wife needed some dry cleaning done, but we put it off so long our reg dry cleaner couldn't make it happen in time. I did some research and called around and another cleaner recommended this place. If you drop off by 10am you can pick up after 5 the same day! Glory be to the dry cleaning Gods! When I dropped off this morning at the counter they counted everything out, checked it all and got me out of there in 5 mins. Picking it up was the same... in and out in 5 mins and with all of our pieces. Not the cheapest but truly Life savors! read more

The cleaning was fine but I stopped going because one of the two attendants was never there. I caught her coming back from the adjacent HEB with her small child. Another time I stood in the store for a good 10-15 minutes just waiting for someone to show up. Calling out "hello" to an empty room full of other people's clothes. read more

Not only is the price not great, The service is bad. We waited for 3 weeks, came in 1 week after it said it was done by, told that they haven't done it yet. I do not recommend here, and i won't be coming back read more

Hey Reid's. Love your service but why to I pay over $6 for a women's shirt and just over $3 for a men's?? I asked them to just treat the cotton shirts exactly like men's and launder them and they said they aren't allowed to?!? Fix the "pink tax" issue and I'll happily give you 5 stars. Everything else is great here. Update: Thanks for the response Karl. I'm still a bit confused though. Both shirts are 100% cotton. Why would you need a release? The store told me specifically they were not allowed to launder women's shirts, that they had to be dry cleaned. I've added pictures of the labels. Picked up a silk blouse today that had ruined buttons. I asked if this was normal and she said yes. She informed me I could pay for them be fixed by their in-house seamstress. And that then the next time I send this piece in they would put protective sheets over my buttons. Let me get this straight, you want me to pay to get the buttons fixed that you ruined? AND next time you'll cover them properly to prevent damage? This was like next level idiotic. Hard pass. Not to mention the girl on staff was mouthy and wouldn't listen for a second. Never been back. Never will recommend. There was absolutely NO WAY the label was followed. Reid's was at one time a good place. If you have any item for which you care, try another cleaners. Draperies were not our only issue. Broken buttons, staff eating whilst working.....never a choice for us any longer. read more

I had a nice pair of slacks torn when I went to pick up my clothes last. While they do a decent job at cleaning I have spent over 4 weeks trying to speak to a decision maker to discuss the issue and get resoltuion. Needless to say getting any issue resolved with the company is horrible. They do not have a streamlined process or means to submit issues and get resolution on. You think they would have something on their website to handle this. I feel like I am trying to file a claim at a bad car insurance company and getting the run around on any sort of resolution. read more

I came in at 9:30AM saturday morning to have a dress ironed. Ironed, not even fully dry cleaned, because I got invited to a last minute formal event and I didnt feel comfortable ironing it myself. I work right next door, and was planning on picking it up after work, around 5PM. So they would have had all day to do it. Well instead, they flat out told me no! Apparently they dont actually do ANYTHING at that cleaner location, they just hold the clothing... They have it sent out to their main location in Downtown Round Rock to be done, and they send it out at 9AM. The driver does not make a second or third trip to pick up additional things for those of us who are not privvy to their 9AM pick up time. This absolutly blows my mind, if they are going to have a GIANT neon sign in their window promising one day service, then I expect them to make accomidations for one day service. Needless to say I will not be back and I will not refer anyone to them because they are not worth our money. read more

I had to come back four times bEcause the never got the order right. Upon the 5th visit they had t patched everything. Also it's located next to a subway so that subway smell comes through the wall and sticks to your clothes. read more

I was referred to this cleaner by a coworker and sadly I was terribly disappointed. They pressed our clothes just fine but they reeked of the subway or pizza or whatever restaurant that is nearby. I am not sure then if that would qualify for being clean. It is so bad that I have had to take them to another dry cleaners to remove the smell. I would not recommend them at all...unless you like to pay to have your clothes smell like food. read more

I just spent $26 for a suit and dress. Unbelievable. 3 pieces should cost around $10-$12. This was the first time using Reid's. They were 1 day late from original pickup date and so unfriendly. Took my scrubs to Reids in Round Rock they lost the top. I would not recommend these drycleaners to anyone. Aweful service.

Quality is reliable but not exceptional. However, the prices have risen to astronomical for women. I was charged $22 for a simple straight line sleeveless knee length polyester dress. It had no spots and didn't require any extra work. Interestingly, my other item was a two piece man's high end tuxedo and was only charged $12 for that. I guess being a guy has its perks. The service was a mix. At the counter, everybody was friendly. The lady helping me literally shrugged about the cost although she did show me that the dress had been classified as some sort of fancy dress which it isn't. Made no sense but I had already paid because it wasn't rung up in front of me. The cashier had taken my card back to another register and run it there. After putting my items in the car, I wanted to talk to the manager (or owner who wasn't there) before "yelping" and went back inside. The manager has a huge clear glass office. The counter lady first pantomined that the manager was on the phone. After about two minutes, I watched the mask drop. Apparently, they forgot that I could see them because I saw the counter lady smirk and laugh with rolling eyes with a nod toward the front counter while talking to the manager. I left. I yelped. Now you know what happened. I was a light use customer since 2005. (Notice the past tense.) read more

I am rather disappointed. The coat I just paid $13 to have cleaned neither looks nor smells like it has been thoroughly cleaned. Not that I want it smelling like dry-cleaning chemicals, but it doesn't smell fresh, that's for sure. The coat is black wool and came back with fuzz/lint still on it...probably the same stuff that was on it when I dropped it off. read more

Four words: Go to Zips instead. I go in with two of my uniforms on a Saturday, early afternoon. Ask the lady to have them military pressed, cleaned, and starched. She tells me that "Reids does not starch this material, it would be ruined" (untruth). A gentleman who I assume to be the manager, follows up with "you'll need to sign a waiver if you want us to starch". So I'm thinking alright, it's fine. I ask for a military discount, they don't have one. That's okay. Then the young lady tell me, "They will be ready after 5pm on Tuesday. Need them sooner?". I said, "Yes, I need them on Monday". She says, "Okay, Monday after 5pm, they wi be ready". Today, Monday, I come to Reids and the uniforms are not ready, I need them today for tomorrow. The lady, same lady, apologized and admitted she messed up, called the main store and told them I need to pick up the uniforms. I had to go 15 minutes to downtown Round Rock to pick up my unready uniforms, have to press them myself at home. Joe (a Marine) was very empathetic to the situation, and asked me to come back again. Unless I'm offered some sort of promotion or coupon, I won't be giving this business my money or time. Zips will clean, press, and starch my uniforms in same day. Reids needs to step the game up. I've tried a lot of cleaners out there, and most of them suck for one reason or another. But not Reid's... it's the only place I'll go. I don't get a lot of dry cleaning or alterations done, but when I do... these folks are always courteous and professional. Tina as well is an exemplary employee. read more

I've been in this neighborhood just a year, but I've dropped clothing off twice now. Both times there have been the same 2 girls working. One is so friendly, super knowledgeable about the different services they offer. She even remembered the conversation we had when I came back to pick my clothes up. The other girl - total opposite. Very sullen demeanor. I could tell she didn't want to be there. At one point, she had to help me because the friendly employee was busy with another customer. She didn't greet me or ask how she could help me. She just looked at me as if she was saying, "What." I don't think the customer should be the one to initiate the job. Anyway, the job was well done, but I agree with another reviewer that their prices are very high for women. I think I may look elsewhere to take my dry cleaning. read more

Sorry but this place is terrible and over priced. This was the second time I tried this establishment. I arrived to pick up my orders of dry-cleaning. The four employees couldn't smile if they tried. I tried to ask questions about why my order was for over $300 but they wouldn't or couldn't give me an itemized receipt or tell me which charge was for which set of hangers. I asked for a menu so I could recalculate myself and they responded with," Sorry you'll have to look on the website." Seriously?? Yes, I put a lot of clothes in at one time but it's always about the same amount and my previous dry cleaning bills at Austin Green Dry Cleaners was never over $200. I'm more upset about the terrible customer service though. Despite this is the most convenient location I will NEVER EVER use this place again. read more

Extreme disappointment....I go there first at 5 pm so I can get same day - meaning after 5 tomorrow...and they of course say pick up 2 days later.....I had a mix of polos and dress shirts. My polos bery specifucally said they are not to be dry cleaned.....she said they won't launder must be dry cleaned ....showed her the tag....she says we do it all the time regardless of what tag says and all turns out fine.....so won't do what the customer wants and specifically what the clothing tag states. The employee was not pleasant and did nothing to explain and or understand the customers situation ......they put tags and instructions on clothes for a reason....and yet if they made a mistake they would have blamed it on me! Needless to say they did not and won't get my business. I tried them cause the Jack Brown in Pf closed...they always did my shirts correctly....so I drive to Jack Brown in Hutto! read more

Switched from a cheap cleaners and began using Reid's. It was fine for a long time and gradually my husband's shirts and jackets started coming back pressed incorrectly. A 4 button suit jacket was pressed as if it was a 2 button and the shirt collars were not pressed correctly so they would fold over exposing the inside of the collar. I sent the jacket and shirts to have them redone and when they came back the jacket was now pressed as a 3 button (almost, it is a 4 button jacket) and the shirts were still pressed with the inside of the collar showing. I asked to have them redone again this morning and I just got a call from the manager or owner telling me that he checked all of these garments and they were done perfectly. UM, not quite; I told him they were not done correctly and I would like to have them redone again and he told me I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER CLEANER. Reid's is NOT cheap so I thought they would do a good job but sadly I was mistaken. DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!!! read more

Great employees and convenient location. I sometime like / sometimes don't like the tissue in the shoulders. The good thing is, they will put in the tissue or not based on your preference. Love the $5 off coupons you get every so often based on usage. Did I mention the staff is great! One thing to consider is making it easier to recycle the hangars and plastic wrap. read more

I took a BCBG dress to Reid's cleaners in Round Rock. Upon inspection after picking it up, the dress had been completely ruined. The dress had satin layers that came totally apart after they dry cleaned it. I asked for reimbursement for the dress but they claimed that I had brought it to them damaged. Hard to believe that somebody would want their damaged clothing dry cleaned! I am extremely upset and will not be returning. read more

I would definitely come here again! I read previous Yelp reviews, which helped me decide to come here to get my wedding dress cleaned, as opposed to going somewhere else. I told them about all the stains and marks I wanted to get cleaned, and they got that done and more. My dress came back to me in better shape than when I dropped it off! They even removed a pen mark that was on the dress when I bought it. I spent about $125 to get my dress cleaned, and that wasn't bad at all considering the upper half has a lot of beadwork. I've been using Reid's for around 10 years. They always had the clothing clean and ready without incident everytime!

Always gets our laundry ready on time, and you can even get it back the same day if it is in before a certain time.

The service at the Round Rock location has deteriorated in the past several months. I was also told that they were no longer recycling hangers by one employee but when I asked a different employee on my next visit, he said that was news to him. My decision to change dry cleaning vendors came about after being charged $4.50 for a cigarette burn hole on the bottom of a suit jacket. I neglected to check the garment before I paid and was then informed that I could not get a refund and could only get a store credit. The employees were sitting around eating food which bothered me because none of them were washing their hands before handling any clothing. I have had to stand there and wait while the employee loudly finished chomping her ice and finish private phone conversations on her cell phone. And so much for being entered in a drawing for a $25 dry cleaning gift certificate for writing a review on Yelp. I happened in one day when the employees were picking their winner by sorting through the cards and asking each other who they knew. No stars from this former customer. read more
