They were supposed to help, and made it worse. Don't know how she sleeps at night providing service like this. I came to this local cleaner desperate for help getting a bleed reversed on the bottoms of a two piece heirloom Chinese brocade outfit. I explained the situation and said I would pay upwards of $200 to get it looking better, and explained I just did NOT want it to get worse. I didn't hear anything for a while and although there was a race against time to get my daughter photographed in it, I didn't want to put extra pressure on them. Despite multiple efforts from me, and the workers in the shop to get some kind of update, the owner was incredibly non-responsive. They had the garments and reference imagery for two months without update, and I went to pick it up and they had completely ruined the top. The top wasn't in perfect condition as it had a small localized bleed, but it looks like they did some treatment that definitely made the top worse. The owner said she didn't know what it looked like before and I had a framed reference sitting in her shop for two months. Really just sucks that my one request was for it to not get worse, and it was ok if they couldn't do anything about it. But they failed to communicate or understand their own professional limitations. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR ALTERATIONS!! I was very hesitant to leave this review, but here we are. Before I explain, let me just say that the women who work here were very welcoming and nice my first time coming in. Their cleaning was also fine, no complaints there. The issue is the sewing. I had a breast reduction earlier this year and brought in two brand new Left on Friday swim tops because they were too big after my surgery. I thought I would save myself the $200 buying new tops and have them taken in a little. There was obviously some sort of communication breakdown between me and the woman who I spoke to, that did my measurements, but even so, the final result is the worst sewing I have ever seen in my life. I could have done a 10x better job myself, but I wanted my things taken to a professional. Their work was not professional at all. It was a total botch job. Both tops were cut down the middle in the back (WHYYY? Not even on an already existing seam, just cut that b*tch right through the middle ‍) and then the two sides were sewn (really terrible, rough, ugly stitches) back together with the ends folding awkwardly inward onto my back, in an itchy and uncomfortable way. In addition to that, she didn't take both sides in equally so now the straps on both tops are asymmetrical! I mean you can see it in the photos. It's inexcusably dreadful. Neither swim top is wearable and I ended up having to buy new ones anyway. When I confronted the woman about it, I asked if she had actually SEEN the work, because I didn't want to assume that she had done it herself, and I told her they look really bad. She seemed a bit uncomfortable and said that yes, she had done the work herself, and when I pulled out the tops and showed her all of the above mentioned things, she got a little bit belligerent with me. Immediately defensive, started raising her voice, denied any wrongdoing, blamed me for all of it because I didn't communicate well enough, etc. I'm not sure how clear you have to be with someone about having a top taken in, but it didn't seem productive to have a yelly argument with the woman in her store, so I just said, "Ok, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough", and I chalked it up to a communication breakdown. She then offered to give me a 20% DISCOUNT on the work. I was absolutely baffled by this because not only was I still having to pay her for ruining my swim tops, but I would also need to spend another $200 to buy new ones. Bottom line: do not bring alterations here. They will ruin your clothes. You'll get better results letting a toddler play with your sewing machine. read more

Being 5'2" even if I buy the supposed short length in jeans or pants, I still need them hemmed. My daughter also had a pair of jeans that needed taking in around the waist, so I was trying to find an affordable place to alter 3 pairs of jeans...not easy! I should've just gone to my tried and true tailor but I wanted something closer. While I did chose to have a straight hem v.s. the hem that keeps the original "look" I at least assumed they'd use the same color and thickness of thread. With the stretch in the jeans this hem with thin thread isn't going to last, and the thread is already coming loose (see photo) so a waste of money. I gave it 3 stars since my daughter was happy with her alteration, but I will not be returning. read more

She pinned my dress for me and was asking me questions like "how tall are my shoes?" (I didn't get that far yet lol) and "do I want a peep toe hem?" (Idk) I was like "I suck at this, can you just tell me what I want?" And she was like "I gotchu girl" and pinned the hem. I walked in to get a portion of my $200 polo jeans patched for the winter instead of going to Walmart and getting an iron on . As soon as I walked in from having this previously done on another portion of my jeans the lady behind the counter saw the ugly zig zag stitching they had done on New Year's Eve and said no we didn't do that here we don't do that type of work !?!? Whaaaat? I repeatedly told her she was mistaken and that she wasn't even at the register the last time I came so how could she know? So basically she thought I was there to complain about the ugly stitching and became defensive without realizing that I was there to ask her for more business. Guilty conscience! As I explained that I had most definitely got the work done there her co worker spoke to her in Mandarin telling her that she had in-fact done the work . DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!! They ruined a BRAND new jumpsuit from Anthropologie and would not pay for the garnet they completely ruined. The tag on my garment clearly says only warm iron but as soon as I looked at it to pick up it was shiny and the pocket outlines could be seen on the outside of the garment and the color was completely different from when o brought it in. So it was VERY OBVIOUSLY ironed with high heat. The fabric has even lost its integrity in some places so I cannot even wear my new garment!!! I even gave them a second chance to "fix" it (i don't know how that's possible with irreversible heat damage but that's what she claimed) and when i came back it wasn't any better and she wouldn't pay me for the garment even though before I left it a second time she said she would. This place is a scam and customer service does not exist here. They are completely dishonest!!! She said that when something is new after the first cleaning that's how it's supposed to look. WHATT!!?? it's no longer wearable! I KNOW that's not how it's supposed to look, i have used a dry cleaning service before many times and have never had a problem like this. They are dishonest and they are not running a professional business. I WILL be reporting to BBB and attempting to get my garment paid for and replaced, this is unfair and complete mistreatment. I was dropping by to get my pants hemmed and discovered these face masks! They are made of cotton and comfortable with the wire support in them. There is a pocket for a filter insert which is very convenient (if you don't have filters, coffee filters will do). They can be easily hand washed, air-dried and cost only $10! These are the two colors I purchased but they have a collection of different colors/patterns to choose from. I highly recommend these masks! Stay safe everyone! read more

Very friendly ladies that work here BUT they literally barely speak English and it is impossible to communicate and resolve any mistakes. I.e. they charged me double to simply 'press only' a Men's dress shirt and it would've been cheaper just to fully launder it which I found silly. Then recently they left massive amounts of iron marks and sheen to my $200 dress slacks. I returned them seeking a fix or reimbursement for a partial cost of my pants and all I got was excuses about it being pockets and that is why there is iron marks. What?! Really? I will be looking elsewhere because while their prices are good, I had a poor experience 2 out of the 4 orders I gave them. I went to two other cleaners today and both told me whoever did this to my pants is basically clueless. I have never had anything less than 5 star service here. This was a God-send as practically everything in my wardrobe needs alterations and nothing fits me off the rack. I do like high-priced designer items, so I am very picky about where I take my things and who does the work. The woman who does the alterations was actually a tailor in South Korea. She owned a business there. She is incredible. With literally having approx 80 items altered, I have once 1 time had to have her fix something. What?!! That is unheard of. I've had her pull apart things and remake them to fit my petite frame and they never don't look amazing. They may charge a little more for alterations on certain items than my last tailor, who tragically passed away, but it is worth it to me. I know it is going to be done well and perfect and I couldn't ask for anything else. They don't always speak the best English, but they are friendly in their own way, and great at what I am paying them to do. Love it. I've referred many friends and everyone has been happy. read more

I don't know about the alterations but I do know I will never use this dry cleaners again... my experience has been one that I paid to have a custom fit tuxedo dry cleaned which they were happy to charge me for but when I got my tuxedo back the arms had shrunk almost 3 inches from the laundering process instead of dry cleaning like I paid for... when I brought this to their attention all of a sudden no one is capable of speaking English. this being the 2nd time in a row I have had clothes damaged I will not be back...
