[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wonderful, supportive, engaging, knowledgeable, practical, encouraging, patient, challenging...just a handful of words that embody my experience of 1+ years at Reimagym.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was in a vulnerable place after giving birth, limited schedule with even more limited energy. I needed a community just as much as I needed a place to exercise, and the coaches, staff, and members at Reimagym became just that, my fitness community.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm the strongest I've been in 5 years, and I find myself doing things on instinct, like deadlifting my toddler off the ground! If you're on the fence about signing up, do it. The worst that would happen is you walk away with more fitness knowledge than you'd ever get at a chain gym, and the best is you would enjoy it as much as I do. The staff are super friendly and both make sure my technique is correct and are enthusiastically supportive. Reimagym is more than a gym, it is a community. It is an incredibly positive space - body positive, queer positive, ability positive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone on staff makes an effort to have a personal relationship with every member, and because the class sizes are so small, you get to know other members very well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are also monthly events that they put on for the members. We have made a few friends through Reimagym! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every trainer and staff at Reimagym is knowledgeable, kind, funny, and open.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We have been going to Reimagym for almost a year. The workouts are always changing and interesting. The trainers work with you to scale them for your personal level of fitness. I've been working out at Reimagym for a year now, and it has really changed my attitude toward workouts. I feel both challenged and supported by the workouts, and I feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally now that I'm working out regularly. Some chronic issues have lessened and even disappeared, and I find that I can move with greater comfort and confidence. The atmosphere at Reimagym is unique. It's quirky and accepting, even of those of us who missed out on some of the pop culture trends many of those who work and work out here celebrate. I reviewed Reimgym in 2021 and am still going in 2024. I've known (and enjoyed training with) Theresa and Mike for years. Recently I've been doing the monthly class pass with them and really enjoying it. It helps me schedule my workouts (and helps me take time for myself in the middle of the workday!). Mobility Mojo is great to work on breathing and finding motion in joints and learning more about my body, and circuit fun gets me doing all the leg work/squats I tend to neglect as an aerialist. As a bonus, I get to spent my lunchtimes with Mike (and sometimes other friends as well!). Highly recommend if you want fitness where the people are smart, fun, engaging and truly interested in meeting you where you're at and helping you feel better in your body. read more

Redefine Strength and Fitness is a game changer. After years of struggle trying to find the right guidance and place to work out locally i found THE place. I love Theresa and Mike. They are thoroughly welcoming and celebrating of all one is and wants to be. They might show up in a tutu or some other fashion choice that fills my needs for humor and true humanity throughout every workout. They are deeply socially conscious which is HUGE! They are kind, smart, have years of experience doing what they do and creating a space in which careful attention is paid to whatever one's challenges may be. It's hard enough to walk through the door on a regular basis to work out when you're faced with yourself (and all you may contending with at any given moment) so knowing you will be greeted with big smiles and "hello fabulous human!" Or something similar takes one right back to the whole point of this journey. Life is a gift and short so seriously, let's have fun while we're here. read more

During the pandemic I totally lost my motivation to work out on my own and the thought of going back to a traditional gym was soul crushing, so I decided to bite the bullet and try to find a personal trainer or something different and Reimagym (Redefine Strength and Fitness at the time) checked all the boxes for me. This is definitely not your typical gym and that's what I love about it. I've been going twice a week since June and I could not be happier. I train one day with Theresa and one day with Mike. They both really know their shit and make working out fun. Now, I actually look forward to going to the gym and I never thought I'd say that. Hadn't been to a gym since the pandemic started and for a time before due to some health issues. Decided to try the 2-week intro and just loved it. Mike, Theresa and Michaela are great. It is a relaxed no pressure atmosphere. The ex's are laid out with modifications to fit what is best for the individual, which is highly appreciated and what an instructor should be doing. After my trial membership I signed up for a year and look forward to each session. They are fun and I just love the themes that often come up. read more

Mike and Theresa are fantastic to work with! The quality of the workout I get at Redefine Strength and Fitness far exceeds what I could do on my own. They are so thoughtful about form and about customizing to my body's needs--every workout is efficient, effective, and worth every penny. I have numerous imbalances from past injuries and from doing aerial arts without sufficient cross training -- it's amazing to see the progress I'm making. Mike and Theresa are amazing! They are super knowledgeable, fun and attentive. My body has always feels better engaging in activities when I get in a workout with them during the week. They listen and will adapt workouts to meet your needs--either due to an ongoing issue or just an ache or pain that you're feeling that day. They are super warm and inclusive and are building a wonderfully supportive community :) Since I've started working with them at Redefine, I've definitely noticed myself getting stronger and more energized.
