Everthing one could need to repair, replace, and handle any home improvement. Lots of little boxes with any type of screw, washers, fixtures for a big old house or a new condo. Matt is a plumbing genius that will help a do-it-yourselfer - fix it fast. The guy in the paint department understand the need I had to get a speciifc color for the exterior of my house and went the extra few minutes to make sure the color was right..... Home Depot and Lowes will never be able to give the quality of this place....Even if you dont need hardware- check out the cool rotating bins of plumbing supplies and all the different bins...this is an old world style hardware store. i drive past many other hardware stores just to get the right stuff. read more

Why does Home Depot exist when you have Reimam's. It's a hardware store with every and any item you need. It's magical how in that messy, dusty store, that they know where every single nut and bolt are. Most Staten Island old school businesses have gone to the wayside but for now thank goodness we still have Reiman's. read more

Great place to go to find that random piece of whatever you need. They are a real throwback hardware store. A very eclectic mix of items however. In one aisle you might find a garden hose and a light switch. Try to avoid going on a weekend if you can, only because the store gets busy and finding help isn't always very easy. In other stores that isn't an issue but it's hard to find things sometimes without help. All in all it's a great resource for Staten Islanders and everyone has always been friendly and helpful. read more

I've been coming for many years for plumbing parts and supplies, including hard-to-find parts for some older fixtures. This is a solid local hardware store. And there's so much more: Reiman's also has all kinds of home supplies, paint, storage containers. Plus a million other things for countless home and business needs. It's a huge store. The staff is knowledgeable and has always been very helpful. I just don't get to Reiman's as often as I'd like because they close a little earlier than other stores. Reiman's is just the best. Really, they are amazing. I needed a couple of very specific nuts and bolts for my car. As these bolts were located in the strut area of the car, they had to be a very specific size and grade of strength (the strongest). I tried everywhere to find them. I tried the dealership, machine shops, Lowe's, Home Depot, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Fastenal, various private auto parts stores, and no one had what I needed. I was skeptical when someone suggested Reiman's, as it is mainly known as a hardware store, but the lady who answered the phone said they had "a few" automotive bolts so I should come in and look. A few bolts? They had an entire aisle of nuts and bolts, including exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Reiman's! You're a lifesaver! read more

Seriously, this place has never let me down. Growing up in the area, we were regulars here and they have everything. It didn't matter if you needed something for a science project or a DIY project they have everything. If live in an older house and need screws, bolts, or hardware to match for blinds drapes etc. they have it and the staff is amazing in that they know where it all is. OMG. This place is amazing. They have ALOT of stuff including those small hard to find bolts and washers. I needed a part for my sink, home depot wanted to sell me akit for $40, Reimans had the part for less than a dollar. They had the kit too, this shows why this store has been around for a LONG time.
