One is for display only and the other can actually be used. If you are in my house and don't know which is which, just ask me to be safe. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They do soft selling, so they will not pressure you while you browse.

There was only one employee working that day but he was very helpful and regretfully, I can't recall his name. Anyway, I asked him about whites and what his thoughts are about the texture for the different surface area I wanted to paint. He offered his suggestions and I went with them after a few minutes of deliberation and I'm really glad I did because I love the selection! He was super helpful and demonstrated a great deal of patience as I paced the store while trying to decide. I wasn't sure how much of each paint I needed so I asked if there is a way they can enter it into their system. He did and I was grateful as I came back the following day for more of my wall color. He frequents Reineke for other specialty items and I've heard him "complain" about them. I finally made it in myself, and man, he's right. It's like the employees are holier than thou or something odd. Anyway, I keep going back. Don't be afraid to ask for things you don't see out. The 5 galloon wallpaper paste is in the back. Same with some TWP wood stains. They have most things you'd need and most importantly carry Corona brushes and Festool products. Those are hard to find in STL. They were supposed to set up an account for me long ago. Every time I buy something, the account is not set up. I guess the scrap of paper with my name and phone number on it got lost and they cannot manage to make one again (hello 1980s). I once gave my husbands name while looking for the account and they snapped at me that he works for an "actual company". Ok, then find my damn account. All that said, I'm in here all the time.
