I stopped in today (3-6-26) just before noon, to look at a 2016 Acura MDX 3.5L in there used car lot. I stood by the car and walked around it several times. A person inside glanced out at me but, no one came out to help me. So, I went inside, no one was helping a customer everyone seemed busy, couple people walked by me and not even a hello or may I help you! I thought this place was in the business to sell cars! I'm an old Herrin's customer and was never treated like this. Even when Steven's owned the dealership, Gene even waited on me on 2 different occasions! When my S2000 was delivered to the dealership, I was allowed to unwrap it myself before taking delivery! Without stressing customer service, this dealership will not serve. Update: I took my wife out a few hours later to see the MDX and someone finally come out and ask if we needed help, I replied YES. He asked again if we needed help again, I replied Yaaa in a louder voice, he said nothing a went back inside. We waited awhile and no one came out to help us, so we left. Zero customer service. The sales guy who I spoke with was rude . I went to this showroom to buy a car and he made sure I don't buy it, that was his skill level . When I was discussing the price he just got up and walked away , I was trying to negotiate and he said go buy somewhere else !!! This was sometime back in 2017 . I have a Honda civic that I bought in Toledo because I will not buy a Honda from this place. Every time I have had to have service it's unfortunate that I have to go here. They are so rude. **update on review**** I purchased an extended warranty where I bought this CIvic. This dealership told me it was only good at the dealership purchased at. Untrue!! Also. I had a noise in the rear they wanted to charge me 95 dollars to look at. I took it somewhere else and they looked at it for free, the problem? The tires had never been rotated and were worn. I have taken the vehicle into this dealership for every scheduled service. Literally one week before this I have service records of them claiming they rotated the tires. The other service garage said no way that's true. Other garage rotated the tires. Noise gone. read more

While shopping for a car for our daughter, we contacted Josh, the salesman at this dealership. He followed up a few days later to see what we had decided. We told him we had found a car elsewhere and he said, "Thanks for wasting my time" and hung up. WOW are you serious?? So, we contacted the owner himself, Gene Stevens, and explained the situation, Josh's unprofessional behavior and that we would not be shopping there and would tell all of our family and friends, his comment to us, "Then why did you make this phone call?" Took them several times to try to fix a trunk latch and they recommended $800 of maintenance for my Honda Civic. I took to someone else, and none of the $800 maintenance was necessary and this new service department had to fix the trunk latch because no one at Gene Stevens apparently had the knowledge of how to fix it. Decided to give a second change, scheduled an appointment for a new battery, after an hour of being there, they said they didn't have the battery in stock. Would not recommend - they only see the $, and don't care for you as a customer. read more
