I am the POA for a friend who was living in Reisterstown MD. She has relocated to Winchester VA and in March I completed a change of address form at the Reisterstown PO. I have been back there 5 or 6 times to pick up mail of hers that was never forwarded. Last attempt was on April 30th when I was in town to close on the sale of her house. A very pleasant older man helped me at the window; even took my phone number and said he would take care of this situation. It is the end of May and her mail has still not been FORWARDED!! i wouldn't care but I am responsible for paying her bills. If I don't get them that is difficult to do. I am most especially concerned because she has a payment planw ith the IRS and I am not getting that correspondence either. Not sure what I have to do to fix this issue but I need some kind of help. You can't get anyone on the phone. They hung up twice without answering. Constantly deliver mail to the wrong address, but at least it is on the correct street. Package delivery is pathetic. Their drivers claim packages are undeliverable when Amazon drivers are dropping off packages on the same day and time frame while driving their broken down jalopies. read more

Automated stamp machine is great for after hours service. Rarely is it not working. People are fairly friendly too

Here is sage advise. Do not send any ebay, poshmark, or etsy packages from this Post office. They have stolen two packages . I had a poshmark package stolen a few years ago and nothing was done. When I went there to report the theft a young black female was turning the lock mechanism back and forth signaling that she was closing the lobby as I spoke to the counter person. The closer post office was crowded and went there to send an envelope to a friend . It never arrived and I mistakenly didnt send it with a tracking number STOLEN. Something is very wrong and illegal that is occurring and it's no oversight or management accountable! They ( employee) stole mail out my fiancé apt mailbox, they made us wait 3 months to change the lock and give her a mailbox key and when she confronted them demanding to know why it took so long they dismissed us both with no answer. But back to theft- she called the local police this morning, we're actually filing a criminal complaint because they took the mail OUT of the mailbox & sent it back because she finally recieved a voicemail stating the mailbox key was ready but we left town to help care for a sick relative & run business for 9 days and was not home then ( recall she still had no access to mailbox because key ). In addition: it turns out they not wrote: not paid on it & after a lengthy argument with her insisting she lied ( she's a travel Nurse and does not need to like about $60 bucks) she insisted they contact post worker whom processed the payment...finally they reluctantly did all the whilst saying the worker won't recall but guess what...this worker did and her lock change finally was initiated after nearly 3 mos of waiting and not being given a reason ( I was with her 2/5 times she went there asking for help only to be rudely dismissed, insulted, etc by these rats So in retaliation for being proven correct that I she did not lie about payment they ( they being post office employees) took my mail off hold and then removed all her mail from my actual mailbox & sent it back to sender! All her paychecks not able to be directly deposited due to temp Nursing for a week or 2, insurance, etc They do things like this intermittently and no one is accountable. It will take someone being physically injured I suspect before they fire these people and stop the harrasment and theft of private protected property!!! I don't say this irresponsibly regarding how it will take violence for a change mark you read it here first. For example, a neighbor reportedly stated her husband is going to this location with a steel bat or something worst because they took mail out of the mailbox & sent it out back after he was expecting a refund to send to daughter in law for a emergency while his son is in the military. When asked why his mail was removed without his permission-- no answer. He stated they just giggled & rolled their eyes! Have been @ residence for 19 years. Had 1-2 carriers, until one carrier transferred to different location. Other regular carrier retired a few months ago. Waited til maximum age of retirement. Now it takes 7-8 carriers to do one route. Dozen of verbal complaints with local office, 5 complaints online and within 2 weeks - 5th time no mail to street, no pick up of parcels (even have an account) again no pick ups or deliveries of any kind to our entire street. Not sure what you expect from a post office. Nothing spectacular to report. The lines are some times a lot. Staff not always the friendliest but what can you do. We need the service, so you just learn to tolerate it. One thing this office is great about is holding mail when requested. Also about tracking packages when lost. I believe you can go in 24/7 to purchase stamps and use the machine to prep and mail packages, but I could be wrong. read more

I called today regarding locating an envelop that I was informed by the Usps website(informed mail) that Was supposedly in my mailbox on Thursday. Somehow it wasn't, I called and the lady who picked up was so friendly. So much so that she even contacted the mail carrier directly. I was able to locate my mail. Wasted my time for the last time, I've taken probably 10 Etsy orders there and there's always a problem with the box or label. Checked and double checked I have all shipping information correct on my end. I take the box to any other usps location and never have an issue. read more

I live in a house (within walking distance to this place). Yet these fools keep telling Amazon that they are unable to deliver my packages because they can not enter my building. No sh*t! I'm not going to let you know "how to enter" my f*ck*in house! Just leave it at my front door like UPS and FedEx clearly understands. I hate that USPS still exists.
