I used Lisa for a couple of projects while remodeling my house. I had a clear idea of what I…read morewanted, so it was more to do some CAD drawings, which she claimed she could do, and help me narrow down picking tiles, fabrics, etc so I could look at a few samples instead of 100. There were big problems on everything Lisa was involved in. Her mistakes included mis-measuring on CAD drawing for the bathroom, which resulted into us having to rip everything out, move plumbing and electrical, and have the vanity ripped out and a new one built. Her excuse was that CAD drawings are "conceptual". This cost me thousands in change orders, which Lisa said she would refund me some money on, but it's been months since the project was done and she has done nothing but ignore my calls and emails. Other issues were that she had no clue on cost of materials at vendors that she recommended. I would get insane estimates way above my budget, so I would end up having to pick all new materials on my own which cost me weeks in delays. Lisa consistently blamed the vendors she recommended saying it was their fault and not hers. She refused to take any responsibility for any of her mistakes which is why I fired her. Everything went smoothly once she was off the project. In short, Lisa did nothing but cost me time, money and aggravation and I would highly suggest if you plan on using a designer, you skip this one.
