I'm not good with needles and my veins are small/difficult on a good day, even worse when I am sick and dehydrated as I was. She got the IV in so smoothly, I'm genuinely impressed and grateful. My partner felt better and was noticeably more "alive" just half way through his bag. I was a bit worse for the wear so it took me longer but afterwards the horrible flu body aches dissipated and my body temp felt normalized. Big focus on holistic care. My appointments always end proactively with action items and next steps... some for her, some for me. Feels like a combination of a friend, mentor, doctor, and coworker. She's really proactive about coordinating the exchange of medical information between different providers as well-it's rare to find a doctor than genuinely feels like an advocate. I found her after a couple years of majorly MEH "care" following a major health issue, so I was a pretty tough critic too. I just can't recommend her enough.

I called last week to get an appt. was told Dr Lowe was out till mid-July. So i asked to get an appt with Dr Chin as she is notes as my primary care physician on the card. I was told I cannot make an appt with her as she is not my doctor and is not taking new patients. First i find it unethical that the medical profession would put that doctors name on my card - if I am never going to be able to see her. I was told someone would call me back that day to let me know what can be done. No-one from this facility called me back. However, when I went online and made an appt, they were able to call me back within 10-mins to tell me i can't make that appt. I filed a grievance with Medical regarding this Dr and facility. I finally got a call on the Thursday of that week from someone in the office, i called back friday morning and was told someone would call me back - no-one did (there's a surprise). Finally on the following Monday i speak to someone who refers me to the Rhode Island location that does not have residents and you can see a real doctor (that actually works - unlike those at 3801 Sacramento). Why they could not have done this the previous Monday is beyond me -i've had to be in pain for an additional week due to their sheer incompetence and unhelpful ness of this office. Avoid this Dr and location at all costs. Head to the Rhode Island location -where the staff are 100 times nice and the Doctors too!

Between my husband and myself, we have had a myriad set of very complicated health issues, and have worked with 20+ doctors throughout the Bay Area. In all that time, Dr. Carie is easily the most attentive, thoughtful and caring doctor I've had the pleasure to meet and rely upon. She never makes quick or unthoughtful recommendations, and seems to count upon me as partner in maintaining my health, not a lofty doctor on high supplying wisdom for me to accept without question. Granted the office support isn't always on top form, but they do in fact care, listen and try to improve when you bring issues to their attention. Also, I was surprised by one of the comments about the lack of notes. Each and every time I work with her (in person or online) I see careful, detailed records. In fact, before she lets me leave the office, she prints out the notes from that appointment and confirms I'm clear about next steps and makes sure all my questions are answered. Myself, I'm thankful to have her warm and supportive care, and know I can count on her for any issues big or small that require medical assistance. Just wish all doctors cared about the people they treat as much as Dr. Carie cares about her own patients. She's a true gem in an increasingly impersonal medical world.

I had already arranged to take time off with a prior surgeon for conversion, either my prior surgeons office drop the ball or my insurance did. During the end of the year in the middle of the holiday season, they both did everything they could to make it happen. I am feeling better than I have in years extremely happy I decided to go with Dr Rabkin. I am very happy with my results this far and excited for the end result. St Mary's nurses, anesthesiologist, my pre op, post op and hospital stay.. the best medical team and hospital care I have had. I recommend taking public transit and walking if you can. Street parking only lets you pay for an hour. There is a nearby parking garage at Sutter if you want to drive that will be roughly $5/hour depending on the time of day you are parked.

The tension and bulky look I had in my shoulders and trap area are completely relieved after seeing him and I look like I have a longer slimmer neck. Without informing me she changed my medication. When I asked why this was I was told that she was afraid to prescribe Adderall because it could have a negative side effect with my Zoloft! This is a total lie. The physician is incompetent. I'm a pharmacist. All of my colleagues including myself agree thar Zoloft and Adderall are compatible with a very slight chance of an adverse reaction. At this point I'm fed up. I've made multiple calls. I just want my money back. Update: EZCare provided me with a complimentary consultation with a different physician to resolve the issue. Once the consultation started the doctor told me he was going into the consult blind. They failed to let him know what was going on . He told me he couldn't prescribe anything because it would be stepping on the toes of the previous provider. Needless to say this consult provided no therapeutic value. Communication is terrible. All communication goes through a call center that sounds like it's based out of India. I wish they had a feature where you could send a direct message to the provider. After many many calls. I'm done. Exhausted: this place actually did harm to my mental health.

The only response to getting my files was once I reported them to HIPAA for violating their policy and a negative review on BBB. It took several days after they reached out, well past HIPAAs 30 calendar day policy. This med center is lax in their HIPAA procedures. Find somewhere else better to trust your medical information.
