Jen Kinder is very knowledgeable and fantastic to work with for postpartum PT. She helped my recovery quite a bit with her recommendations to re-strengthen neuromuscular control. I can feel real results in my body healing following her program. I've been seeing Dr. Brittany Sherman since early 2018 for a few things including food sensitivities & treating a long history of very high cholesterol. There is a huge difference in approach & attention to detail with a naturopathic doctor. Naturopathic healthcare complements traditional medicine & may be something to incorporate into your overall health plan. A couple of key differences with an ND are the very thorough tests such as the Boston Heart test as well as hormone testing via the Dutch test. Thyme works with Feel Good Compounders to create custom bioidentical hormone treatments based on your hormone test results. The appointments with Dr. Sherman have been very thorough; you are definitely not a number being rushed through your appointment & will be seen on time. Very happy with my relationship with this group of professionals! Started this part of my life's journey with a surprise diagnosis of LADA from Endocrinologist. He attempted to force me to begin insulin immediately. I refused the needle and began to educate myself on the disease. Because my A1c was 16.5 I agreed to take oral med, but in addition I started a regime of supplements and needed some validation. Thyme Integrative Health has literally changed my life. I started seeing Dr. Sarah in December of 2016. My husband and I were 6 months in on our infertility journey when I first went to meet with Dr. Sarah. I was spending a lot of my on doctors and I had never seen a naturopath. Dr Sarah helped me figure out the blood work I should get done and supplements that would help with my infertility treatments. I found that working with traditional doctors and a doing the infertility protocol (clomid and iui specifically) was to hard on my mental health. I will forever be in debt to this team. About 8 years ago I visited them (this review is long overdue) for skin issues. Dealt with cystic acne on my neck, back and shoulders for YEARS! My typical dermatologist would get me on every medication possible. Nothing worked. No creams worked. I refused to get on accutane. So I tried alternative avenues. They listened to my story and did a full food sensitivity panel on me. It came back that I was super sensitive to eggs, dairy and whey. They gave me some recommendations for natural supplements and a nutrition plan. 6 weeks later...my skin was completely clear! And when I tested those foods out again, BAM! Acne shows up. Every. She actually listens to the arc of what is going on with me, not just physically, but emotionally, stress-related issues, work, relationships. Dr. Sarah Rothman, ND is a brilliant acupuncturist and ND. When my thyroid "officially" went out of whack, my MD would only put me on T4. I was still freezing cold all the time, sluggish and my face and eyelids were always puffy. I searched high and low for someone to listen and help. It turns out she was certified in treating exactly this syndrome and put me on Armour Natural Thyroid which contains T3. World of difference! I like that she has a healthy respect for whatever medications you're already being prescribed by a MD and isn't trying to get you on only herbs, etc. I recommend anyone interested in optimal wellness visit her. She listens, gently suggests and is genuinely dedicated to your health. I am so appreciative that her visits are so thorough and financially reasonable! What other medical professional with sit with you for a two hour first appointment and only charge around $200? I was looking for a family therapist who also would be able to look at lab testing for my daughter for any nutritional deficiencies and I found Dr. Jan Weber! Dr. Weber spent a good 45 mins on the phone prior to me booking a session. He was very considerate when answering all of my questions and discussing options, even including options that didn't involve him. Dr Weber has such a calm demeanor which made it comfortable for my 14 year old daughter. When I attended some sessions, I really appreciated Dr Weber's curiosity about what was the situations happening. In a few sessions, Dr Weber was able to help mend some conflicts/communication concerns within the family. If any future situations come up, I would definitely book him again. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I am a patient of Dr. Williams and am the happiest I have ever been. Through my life I have struggled with poor nutrition, headaches, stomach issues, and sleep problems. I have tried every fad diet, sleeping medication, and over the counter pill you could take. I have seeked out doctors and health professionals for help. Everyone has told "lose weight" "try harder" and the best one "have you seen your BMI?". It's frustrating to be looked at as lazy or unhealthy or fat, before a doctor tries to help me. Then I met Dr. Williams and everything changed! She just talked to me. We talked for a long time, getting to know me and not my chart. Through Dr. Williams care and guidance I have been successful in dropping a few lbs and feeling worlds better. Headaches, gone! Dr. Page is an outstanding doctor. She is smart, compassionate, and offers practical advice. She reminds me of doctors of the past as she takes the time to listen and work with the patient to determine a treatment plan that will work the best. Not like most primary care MDs today where you spend the bulk of your visit speaking to an assistant, and only get about 5-10 minutes of facetime with the actual doctor because they are overbooked and need turnover. Dr. Page explores all options that could help resolve your problem. She understands traditional and non-traditional treatments. The non-traditional options are practical and not the new agey, quack crap that have no scientific basis. She also has a great understanding of drugs and what does or doesn't work and why; unlike many others who just prescribe without really understanding. I was taking one type of drug that doctors had been recommending for a side effect that never seemed to work. She was the only MD that knew why. After I told her what I had been taking, she explained that my specific condition acted on my body differently in creating the side effect that the drug would not resolve. She recommended an alternative that actually made a difference in reducing the impact of the side effect. The only downside is that she doesn't accept my insurance. I understand why since insurance companies place onerous requirements on doctors that make it difficult for small practices to supply the level of care she does and survive. Saw Dr. Stephen a few years ago to help with my digestive issues, and he fixed me right up. Saw Dr. Brittany today to help me address mental health issues. She was amazing! Dr. Sarah Rothman is by far a miracle worker in my book. I came to her with a complex rash that NO ONE was able to figure out. I went to multiple dermotologists, internists, etc - no one could figure it out. And after just a few short visits, Dr. Sarah found the cure, put me simply on a course of Vitamin A and wa-la, I was cured. Not only is she lovely and caring, she is also knowledgable and was able to help me with my hypothyroidism as well. She really takes time to listen to her patients and to give everyone quality time. I highly recommend Thyme Integrative Health! It is located in a beautiful part of Pacifica, and the decor inside is wonderful. The staff is absolutely amazing! I was told about Dr. Sarah through a family friend since I wanted to try a more natural route and was tired of my old doctor not listening to my concerns and trying to pass unnecessary business on to the pharmacy. I wanted someone who would really listen to me and not rush through my appointment. Boy were my prayers answered. Sarah always takes time to listen to me, she is never glancing at the clock and doing other things but giving me her 100% attention and taking notes. I remember my first visit Sarah expressed to me that after having kids it really made her have a huge love for others and taking care of them and I GENUINELY felt that. She has helped me with so many issues in life, and I just love talking with her. it is like my own little therapy and I always leave feeling so relaxed. Sarah has suggested a few things for me to try and I have never had a complaint. Never in my life would I have seen myself trying acupuncture, but there I was laying on the table with my scented lavender eye pillow and ocean sounds in the background while little needles were being tapped into me. This is a totally high-integrity practice and I just can't speak highly enough about it. I have seen Dr. Sara and Dr. Marisa for a variety of things, from walking pneumonia to food sensitivities to well-woman care, and they are both outstanding. In particular, a few years ago I had a terrifying experience at my regular OB/GYN and wound up unresponsive (though conscious) on the exam table for several minutes, paralyzed with my eyes wide open. I delayed well woman care for at least a year after that, and when I shared that experience with Dr. Sara, she tailored my visit expertly to make it totally comfortable - acupuncture, herbs to help calm me, and of course, she was very gentle, and calmly talked me through everything she was doing and made me a participant. And that was that - because of her, I'm no longer fearful at all, and I have a relationship with that part of my body that I really hadn't before. I have referred several friends here, and one in particular was finally able to get to the bottom of what was really behind her debilitating headaches (a major food allergy, which not one practitioner of the countless that she had been routed to in our traditional healthcare system suggested could be the culprit). Another friend of mine has had wonderful success with fertility support here. I could go on, but for the sake of brevity, suffice it to say, this is an outstanding practice and I am so, so grateful for them. read more
