So, I've been having a rough couple of days. Well... A rough couple of years. But the past few days have been especially difficult. Upon arriving at my appointment, I was feeling raw and vulnerable and tired and teary, which means I also felt especially ugly. I told Karen that I was wallowing in self-loathing and that today was probably going to be a challenge. Because why hold back when you're probably going to be bawling by the end of the appointment anyway, right? Especially when 'Jar of Hearts' and similar melodramatic, heart-wrenching songs* come on while you're being stabbed in the face. Well, she was so lovely to me and I left feeling so much better about myself afterwards that I did end up bawling in the car on the way home because I was so damn relieved. I'm used to women being completely awful to me, so I have come to expect it. But she is kind, funny, compassionate, knowledgeable, skilled, gentle, understanding, and efficient. And she gives me exactly what I want without rushing me or being condescending. I'm going with a 4- Karen is super friendly and makes you feel at home! The location is great. Karen really cares and listens to your concerns and makes great suggestions. The facility is homey, comfortable, and clinical all at the same time! Scheduling was a breeze and everyone is SOOO nice! I tried a couple of facial treatments with Rejuv, and only had moderate success. One worked fine, the other had no effect and was costly enough to think twice about trying it again. The other comment I have is that Karen and I were enjoying such a great conversion that we both forgot about a third skin concern I had asked for treatment, and I only realized it when I left. Meaning, I would need to reschedule and take more time out of my schedule to come back. So! My advice is to take a list and make sure to not get too caught in the fun times and make sure to get your needs met, questions answered, and all the concerns you want to address in one visit. This is a terrific spa/clinic. I have going to rejuv for several years, now, for Botox. I found out about them on yelp years ago and I am so satisfied that I can no longer not return the favor. Karen is a registered nurse; she knows muscle structure; she has a remarkable ability to inject the least amount for the best results at the lowest cost. There aren't many places I haven't tried for Botox. This is by far the most outstanding facility in Denver. David is quick to reply and always manages to squeeze me in when I need a last-minute appointment. They have developed a very comfortable space for treatments. read more

I went to Rejuv for my first chemical peel a few days ago. I was treated by Alexa, who is a Paramedical Aesthetician. My experience was great . I was greeted by David - he is co-owner and the husband of the medical director. He and Alexa couldn't have been nicer. Alexa was very thorough in examining my skin, and since it was my first peel, she did a very light treatment - it was a low percentage Jessner peel, and she only left it on for a minute. I liked her conservative approach and am willing to accept results over the course of a few treatments, rather than gamble for dramatic results on the first and end up looking awful for days if my skin were to react poorly. I also found out from Alexa that my skin type is not ideal for microdermabrasion (which I have had several times, and coincidentally have seen some new problems pop up on my skin as a result) - I appreciated the expertise, and wish aestheticians I have been to in the past would have been as knowledgeable. I have finally found a skin care place that I will stick with, and would highly recommend Rejuv to anyone else looking for a solid, unpretentious skin spa! read more

I have been seeing Deana for about 2 years getting chemical peels for clogged pores. I have seen great results, she helped me re-establish a beauty and cleansing routine that helped tremendously reduce my clogged pores in between peels. I am new to Denver and was in search of a medical spa for Juvederm XC. I was super cautious and read a lot of reviews and asked a lot of questions over the phone to David at the front desk. David assured me Karen has done an extensive amount of lip injections and seemed to be pretty confident she is probably one of the most experienced in Denver and the most frequent injector. I may be repeating that wrong, but it doesn't matter- you get the gist. Karen knows what she is doing! When I came in David had warned me because I had filler done in November and it was just March at this time that I did not need more filler at 22 years old and that my lips looked great. I respected that he had given his opinion and it showed they are not all about the money. Their client's best interests are their top priority. As David realized I was adamant about getting more filler he allowed me to apply the numbing cream and I waited for Karen. I had witnessed a man coming in for Botox treatments and also a woman for laser skin resurfacing (I believe). Both clients were truly happy when leaving and seemed to have great relationships with David and Karen. The owners ever so kindly tried to fan the faint aroma of burnt dead skin before I had hopped in the chair all numbed up. It is such a clean and beautiful little space, and it doesn't seem like there is ever a dull moment. It was clear Karen is in high demand! Karen took the time to evaluate my lips and she told me I could go with the full syringe and still get more volume in my lips but at the same time not too over the top pout. She was very careful to place the filler just the right amounts in the right places and allowed me to take a look after each couple injections. She treated my lips like an art form and allowed me to feel comfortable in the process. I had such a great experience, I immediately LOVED my lips the bruising was minimal I even went to work right after my appointment and for the following 3 days! I was a tad swollen and therefore my lips were bigger than they are now that they have settled (but I didn't really mind, haha!). Needless to say, this is my new medi-spa. I will be back for Juvederm (but don't worry I will give it a little more time, David!). I have and will continue to recommend Rejuv to anyone looking for skin care, treatments or fillers! read more

I've gotten juvederm from several different places and let me just tell you Karen is amazing. I felt right at home from when I called to make an appointment to when I was leaving after my treatment was finished. I also love that it's a husband wife team. Just all around this place is great. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Do not put your face in these people's hands. Karen is unwilling to be accountable when her procedures are not satisfactory and complete. When Karen did my filler, she assured me that we could let things settle and then address any issues. My face was, and still is, lopsided. I tried to make a follow-up appointment but was told that her daughter's birthday party meant that they were not making any weekend appointments. Tried to reschedule an appointment and because they are not working Memorial Day weekend, could not get in until June. And after being told that the birthday party trumped my needs, they put the burden on me to try to schedule a follow-up appointment rather than pro actively trying to get me in. Bottom Line: Rejuv and Karen are more than happy to take your money, but when it comes to fixing Karen's mistakes and shortcomings, they expect you to stand in line behind new money/clients. Again, Do not trust Rejuv. Take you business elsewhere. read more

I am giving Rejuv 4 stars overall, but I would give 5 stars for Botox. I have been getting Botox for years and needed a new place. Karen has a natural and conservative approach - no one will know you've had Botox done. As a registered nurse, she knows how to inject properly. I think she is highly skilled. I did not have as great an experience here with other services, including a peel and brows. I would consider getting a peel again, though I would make sure to communicate better with the aesthetician. I would not do brows here again. read more

I went to Karen about a month ago for a consultation for lip injections. She was very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. She asked if I wanted to do it that day but I explained I had an event in a month or so and wanted to wait closer to then to do it. She said that was fine and even had me fill out paperwork so that when I did come back everything would be ready. As my event approaches I decided to call her and schedule an appointment. She did not answer so I decided to text the number as her voicemail suggested. No reply for several days. I decided to call back and leave a voicemail this time. Again no reply for several days. As I was running out of time to get this done I decided to stop by her office before going to work to see if I could schedule an appointment that way. The girl at the front desk went in the back and gave Karen my name presumably came back out and said she would be in touch with me. I asked if she could look at her availability for the following week but she refused and told me to wait for her call. Nice. The following day I receive a voicemail from Karen saying that she would not do my lip injections with absolutely no explanation as to why. To deny someone your service especially when you agreed to do it before is down right RUDE but to not explain why is just UNPROFESSIONAL. Karen, if you're going to have the audacity to turn a paying customer away the least you could do is tell them why. Also, stay consistent. Don't tell me you're going to do the procedure one day and the next you're not. I ended up going to Maryann Sudmeier at Jack Zamora MD for my lips and they turned out beautifully!! I visit Rejuv about three times per year since 2012. Before finding Karen, I had tried several other skin spa type places to get Botox (forehead) and Juvederm (lips) injections. Once I found Karen, I will never go anywhere else! She is the absolute best in the business and you can 100% trust that she will make you look better, but never overdone. She'll tell you honestly what services/products you would benefit most from and her goal is always a natural look. They do an excellent job at scheduling. Until recently I was driving from Boulder to get various skin treatments from Karen. I had many experiences with other skin spas in Boulder and Denver. I am so impressed with both Karen and David. They're both so kind, knowledgeable, and you feel as if they're on your side. They listen to you and treat you as if you were an old friend. I really appreciate their honesty, too, especially David's. I'm 43 and once stopped in there to ask about laser treatments for my decollete area, and David looked at me, and said that the laser treatments would be a waste of my money because my skin was not bad enough to evoke much - if any - change. He recommended a good sun screen etc. instead. Then, I did not listen to him (duh!!), went to another med. spa in Denver, and they agreed to give me a laser treatment, telling me it would make a difference - and that I would see and be pleased with my results. I paid (wasted) $1300 to have my chest and neck lasered, and there has been absolutely NO change in appearance to my decollete area whatsoever. I will never bring my business to that med spa again since I can no longer trust the people who work there, but now Rejuv has a loyal customer for life, and I will never again not listen to advice they give me. I should have listened to David; he was telling me the truth, and I made a terrible and costly mistake in not listening to him. Truly caring professionals.... I first found Karen and David because my mom has been going to them for her injectables for 10 years. I started seeing Karen for all of my botox and skin care needs and have been thrilled with my results. But I recently brought in my 22 yr. old daughter who has been having SEVERE acne issues for 8 years. Her self esteem was terrible due to how she felt because of her facial acne. Well..... She got a wonderful facial to clear her pores and Karen and David came up with a plan to switch her daily cleaning and makeup ritual, as well as providing her with the products to use to clear up her skin. She goes to college in Hawaii and was sensitive to sunlight, but Karen and David were able to suggest a new regimen which she has followed and after just 6 weeks, her acne is almost completely gone.
