1-Star Review Unprofessional and Unethical Treatment -- Please Read Before Booking! I've been a loyal client of Rejuven8 Wellness Spa since June, spending over $1,300 on regular massages and always showing up early, respectful, and appreciative. Unfortunately, my experience on 10/28/25 was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and even brought a belated birthday gift for the owner, Kaera Anazalone. I explained that I had recently recovered from an illness, was cleared by my doctor, and had tested negative for COVID and flu more than a week earlier. Despite being transparent and cleared as non-contagious, I was treated with visible discomfort and suspicion. Kaera informed me that the session couldn't continue unless I agreed to conditions that made me feel uncomfortable in what is supposed to be a relaxing, safe environment. She even stated that she would "just get it over with because [she] needed the money," which was incredibly unprofessional. When I said I was no longer comfortable proceeding, I was denied a refund or credit for my prepaid $139 session, even though no service was provided. I tried to resolve the matter calmly and respectfully, but was met with rudeness, manipulation, and eventually told I was no longer welcome as a client. For a wellness business, this was shocking behavior. I have since filed disputes with my credit card company, the BBB, and the California Massage Therapy Council. I'm sharing this review to make others aware of how this spa treats loyal clients and how poorly it handles customer care and ethics. Additionally, for a business that claims to be a "wellness spa," having a dog in treatment rooms shedding hair is extremely unsanitary and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. This is not the safe, ethical, or relaxing environment it pretends to be. read more

Honestly I had never been anywhere like a spa or gotten a massage altogether, but i did lots of research to have a spa day for my sister's birthday! Found Rejuven8 through Yelp & don't regret my decision coming here. Keara & Shawn are amazing! Super smooth scheduling process, very thorough and answered all of my questions as i had never done anything like this before. Upon arrival we were greeted by Rosie the Spa dog! Wish i had gotten a picture of her. But she INSTANTLY calmed my nervousness i was having coming into an unknown place. Massages & Sauna was AMAZING & the most relaxing experience I've ever had. I was having excruciating back pain so I decided to book a massage. When I got there, Shawn inquired about my back pain to so he can make a plan of action. From there he went to work. He focused on and around the area of pain and boy did it hurt. It was one of those "hurts so good" massages. I went home in pain but a different pain than when I went to get the massage. The next morning when I woke up.....OMG, my back pain was all but gone and I was able to have a normal day after two weeks of pain. I had one of the best massages I've ever had and I owe it all the Shawn and Rejuven8. Thank you!!!! read more

I've booked a massage with Sean multiple times and he's absolutely incredible. I sit for 12+ hours a day and he has improved my overall mood, health and happiness. Absolutely outstanding! Proprietress and exquisitely talented masseuse Kaera intuitively pinpoints precisely where on the body the more subtle and elusive "root source of pain" spots/knots are hiding, and then masterfully kneads them away with just the right amount of pressure and diligence, perfectly balancing the required intensity with a gentle and compassionate touch. Along with possessing tremendous healing energy, Kaera also has a great sense of humor and super fun to talk to and experience! LOVED it and will definitely be back again and again. I booked a one hour relaxing massage. Christine was my therapist. The massage was great, she was quiet and asked few questions. I was able to relax. I could tell that she had a great technique. The place is close to my house. It's cute, very old fashioned, by appt only. I liked it because it doesn't feel like a business, crowded or anything..... it's very cozy and I would recommend it. read more

Wow. Had a great experience, even during COVID. The place was extremely cute and clean, with a very inviting and relaxing outdoor space. They followed several safety protocols including temperature check, masks, hand washing, etc. And on top of it all, the massage was AMAZING. Used my spa finder gift cards today and got the ultimate destresser massage! Wonderful! Kaera was wonderful, helpful, and passionate about the products in the shop. The ultimate destress massage had soy wax and a wonderful full body massage. I felt refreshed and certainly destressed when I left. I also picked up some Calm products while I was there. I used my spafinder gift card to find a spa open during this covid nonsense, for a facial! I was very pleased with their efficient email communication! I specifically chose them because they responded immediately to my online contact form and made it easy to book ( no phone tag or endless texting). Once I arrived, the atmosphere was quiet, clean and pleasant. They set up a terrific outdoor space which was comfortable and relaxing. I had the Vitamin D facial and included the back treatment. It was fantastic and although it wasn't an issue for me, staff was very hygienic and safe minded (taking all required precautions such as wearing masks, taking temp and even used a clear plastic shield to protect me during the facial)! My boyfriend and I visited california for our anniversary. Last minute, we thought, "a spa day could really make this trip great". We hunted for any place that could take us so last minute. To our luck, Rejuvenate Day Spa had one morning slot available for a couples massage..AND for an unbeatable price!!! We arrived to find the most tranquil ambiance. The ladies that worked on us were so patient, kind and thoughtful. I believe it was the owner and this lady named Lisa. My boyfriend and I weren't sure what to get since this was our first spa experience, so the ladies just massaged us according to what our bodies needed. It was so relaxing, I fell asleep towards the end! After this, I fully recognize massage therapy as an art. I had never felt a tip was so deserved until this experience. My kids knew I had some extra stress and gave me a massage gift certificate. Yesterday 3/12 I redeemed this massage certificate. Dee was my therapist and she made me comfortable instantly. She is an incredibly skilled therapist, who employs eastern transition. She was able to release neck and low back pain and stiffness that I have had for years. I couldn't believe it. I will try to visit monthly as it sure did help me to feel better, I realized the benefit even the next day. This is a lovely spa, that instantly relaxes. I LOVE Rejuvenate. I have been coming here for years and always get a 2 hour massage from Kaera who is the owner. I'm not sure which is better the amazing prices or the ultra amazing massages she gives! She is a true healer and a genuinely outstanding person. To know her is to love her, her massages and her overall kindness and generosity. Just seeing her already improves my feelings of well being and then there's that magical massage. I had kind of a disappointing experience here. When I got there, I wasn't greeted or acknowledged for over 30 minutes, well past my appointment time. There was no one even in the front reception area. Finally, someone noticed me falling asleep on the couch and checked to see who I was. There was no apology for the lateness or the lack of acknowledgement that I was even there. I finally got in and the services were fine, but I was already uncomfortable and in a bad mood. Part of the day spa experience is to feel special and pampered, and I certainly didn't receive anything close to that. Customer service is important :-) read more

This place is small and very cozy. They have great specials every month. My husband and I have had couples massages together and I get waxing and facials on a regular basis. The service is always friendly and the quality is superb. I love to go here because of the amazing deals and I always feel cared for. My business is always appreciated! read more

The day spa is such a wonderful little oasis in Loomis. I have been getting facials from Keira for a little while now. She helped prep my problematic skin for my wedding last May and had my skin glowing and pimple free by the big day! I also brought my bridal party in for massages ($75 a piece) and they loved the service, the perfect gift for them. They also have fun ladies night out packages. Great place! read more

I have been here twice and had two massages along with a facial and they were good. Not great, not fabulous but good. Everyone seemed friendly. The problem I had and the reason I won't be back has more to do with how the business is run. I have concluded that there is no one person running the front desk and nobody seems to know whats going on. I had to leave a message on an answering machine just to set an appointment and once I was disturbed with a second return phone call twenty minutes after setting my appointment making sure I was offered earlier times??? Really? Like the first person who called me back the first time didn't do their job. I wish I could say my experience was better, but it wasn't the high class experience I was expecting. read more

I just got another wonderful massage from Kaera, the owner of Rejuvenate Day Spa. I like a firm massage without using elbows to get out knots. Kaera has very strong hands and knows exactly what I need and want. I feel relaxed and fantastic! She really does "rejuvenate" me! read more

Rejuvenate Day Spa is where I go to find peace, kindness and wonderful treatments on my face. Since I started having peels by Kaera, my skin looks so much healthier and smooth. Lisa is amazing! She works out all the kinks. I have a pinched nerve in my back and Lisa's magic fingers got the flare up to stop. She commincates enough to make sure you are getting what you need but she isn't super chatty so you actually get to relax. Treat yourself and go see Lisa. :-) read more

April just got a new line of organic color, and my hair turned out great. I could almost get away with saying I'm a natural light blonde. The highlights catch the sun like they did when I was a little girl. I also really like the atmosphere of April's salon. I had an amazing experience at rejuvenate! The staff was very welcoming and sweet as soon as I walked in! I was even a few minutes late and after the paperwork I didn't get in the room till about 15 minutes after my appointment time started. The therapist said that as long as I wasn't in a rush she would go to make sure I got my full length appointment! And then the massage... It was truly luxurious! The room was nice and relaxing and the therapist was amazing! And if you can, do the hour and a half! It was perfect! I still didn't want it to end but I truly felt like I could relax and enjoy! !! Nasty & Not Relaxing !! First, the only reason this place is rated "Best Day Spa in Loomis" is because it is the only "day spa" in Loomis. I have been to many, by far the worst. I had a facial, which was meh- the aesthetician picked my face for twenty min. with her real fingers nails. I had red marks for a week. Then I had a 'foot treatment' which was basically nearly cold water in a salad bowl. Where the station for this service is located is in the lobby/hallway. So there I am naked in my robe trying to relax- the phone is ringing, owner is talking, tv (yes tv) is on with info commercials going, people/ traffic walking by me, clothes are being hung and steamed. Hey, I have idea, let's sell tacky used clothing in the day spa and hang this 1980's prom dress right next to the Buddha, so you can be bombarded with shopping during your experience. I should also mention it is kind of nasty dirty. I think the chair covers probably have not ever been washed and the floors, fans, baseboards prob have not been cleaned in 75 years. That part is not on the website. Speaking of website, it makes the place look decent, it really is not like that. The positive thing I can say is that the face products were ok and no one was rude. Sorry, I hate giving bad reviews, but it really stunk and I was not rejuvenated. The good reviews must be from friends or something. read more

I arrived early expecting to enter into a quite tranquil spa hoping to relax before my treatments. Instead I entered into a room full of people and a few kids with no where to sit and wait for my treatment. One gal was sitting at a desk doing booking, kids were making noise and my technician was on the phone trying to get her Internet fixed. I ended up waiting in my car. First impression was not good. I had to use the restroom and had to walk through a lot of junk to get to the bathroom, granted they just moved there but they shouldn't have opened until their spa was complete. My three treatments were ok, the body wrap and massage were not the ones I booked for. Facial was ok. She did give me a discount but still added 20% for gratuity! Being a retired Esthetician and former day spa owner I guess I'm a bit picky because my spa was very tranquil, relaxing and we did not add gratuity we left that to our clients choice of the service they received. I wish them all the best once they are settled in but I feel they are a bit over priced for the service they give. I don't think I will be back. But others should try them and make their own opinion, I guess I picked a bad day for my treatments. read more

Lisa has magic fingers!! I had a massage before by someone my chiropractor recommended, and I woke up the next day so sore that I was hardly able to move - NOT WITH LISA! My massage was so relaxing and felt amazing; she worked on problem areas that we discussed at the beginning and I felt amazing for days and days after!! I still have not had any issues with my neck since my first massage with her months ago. Lisa is genuinely involved in making your time with her the best experience.
