Just left after having a couples massage and I am EXTREMELY upset. Jie was amazing and it's unfortunate that she even had to be apart of this awful review because she was incredible. However, my partner who was the birthday boy and who I gifted this experience to, got Michelle. I have absolutely no idea why they had her as a masseuse but when she came in bundled up in a huge vest and winter hat looking completely out of place, I knew it was going to be downhill. The entire time she massaged my partner she was yawning, clearing her throat, making strange snorting sounds, and just being as disruptive as possible. I wanted to ask her if we were boring her after her 10th extremely loud yawn. Then, her phone rang, and I wish she had just left at that point because I was over the whole experience. I paid $300 for the whole couples massage experience and my partner had the absolute worst time. He said that she was not experienced, he wasn't relaxed and she was not a good masseuse. Why would you let someone like that work somewhere where people have to spend luxury prices only to have snorting in their ear the whole time? Terrible massage experience. I booked the 3 hour couples massage for me and my girlfriend. They took us into the room and all it had was 3 blown up heart balloons and some plastic candles, nothing at all like the website. They gave us charts to select where we wanted the most pressure and my girlfriend selected her shoulders. She was given a male masseuse and most of her massage was only around her butt. The entire thing was uncomfortable. All they used on our faces were cheep cream products that irritated both of our faces. We had to rush home to wash it off. The massages themselves felt cheep, just some slapping on the legs and hands. It also only lasted 2 hours. I truly felt like I got scammed. read more

What a relaxing experience. I booked a luxury massage through Classpass and I'm so glad that I did. I don't live on this side of town but had some other self-care appointments nearby so I figured I'd check it out. So glad that I did. Rejuvenate is located in a nice, quiet plaza and there's plenty of parking for all of the businesses. I visited on a Friday morning just minutes after they opened and snagged a prime spot in the front. There were a few ladies exercising nearby the shop out in the cool breeze, lol, I couldn't blame them! When I pulled up, one of the ladies quickly headed into the spa to welcome me in. She was so kind! Checking in was a breeze after some iPad-issued questions like spots to be avoided, then I was swept off to the first available room. There were about 5 or 6 rooms lining the hallway along with a bathroom. The room we entered was small, but not suffocating in any way. It was dimly lit, smelled great and incredibly comfortable. After positioning myself on the massage table, my masseuse came back in and went to work. Friends. This was one of the top 5 massages that I've ever had. Wow. I appreciated that she was firm without hurting me, and really worked out the tense parts of my body. I'm certain that I drifted off a few times within the hour, but I was alert the rest of the time, I swear! I didn't opt out of any areas so my masseuse addressed every sore muscle and I appreciate her for it. Gifted hands! I looked at my watch when I awoke from my incredible session of R&R and it had been exactly an hour, omg. Spot on. Felt like 2. Checking out was just as easy as check-in, as I happily tipped my amazing masseuse. Save yourself the time and frustration. They are unprofessional, greedy for money, and do not care about your time or honoring appointments. I should have known they were janky when they didn't even ask for names for the appointment. I brought this up and they said, we use the phone number you call from to book the appointment. What was supposed to be a relaxing day was ruined by Rejuvenate Body Spa. I booked two appointments almost a month in advance. After booking my appointment the same day I received a call to move my appointment up by 30 minutes. Fine, no problem. Fast forward to the day before my appointment, I get a text to confirm my appointments. Appointments confirmed. The day of my appointment, I get a call asking if we could come in an hour earlier. This call was received about an hour before the time they wanted to change the time to. I explained that no, I would not be able to make it at that time and that I needed to keep the time I scheduled. At this point I am a little annoyed but still looking forward to the day that I had planned. I get a call 30 minutes later from them telling me that they are over-booked and I can only come in at 11:30 or after 4:00. Once again I explained that I need to keep the time I scheduled almost a month ago and was told she was going to speak with the manager and call me back. Now I am furious. We had a whole relaxing day planned around my massage appointment time and they were ruining the day and causing stress. At this point I am getting the feeling that this is not going to end well. After 20 minutes went by and I didn't receive a call back I had already determined that we were not going there. At this point I am thinking the massage probably wouldn't even be good and that I would be even more upset. I called to speak with a manager and was told that my appointment was cancelled and the only explanation was the person doing the booking made a mistake. She also mentioned a large party being booked. So, basically, it doesn't matter if you have an appointment. If they feel like they will make more money, they will boot you off the schedule. I don't see how you accidentally over-book when you clearly only have so many slots and so many therapists. If those slots are filled that means it's NOT AVAILABLE to book. I have been getting massages for years (at obviously more professional establishments) and not one time have they called me to say my appointment was no longer available because they were over-booked. Never again Rejuvenate Body Spa! Do not book here if you are a planner and like to plan out your day because as we all know, it only takes something like this to ruin the whole day. So I went here today to get a massage with my best friend and I get massages frequently. I'm not saying my masseuse didn't know what she was doing but because of the language barrier I couldn't explain that the pressure was too intense. So basically I feel like I have a broken back now when I went there to fix the soreness in the first place. I literally had to come home and take a painkiller. It's weird because on the iPad I specifically said shoulders and legs for my main areas but for some reason she focused on my lower back. It really does feel like I got hit by a bus. Was looking for a spa in the area for a massage to start the new year. Went yesterday for my scheduled apt and was not disappointed. I think it was a good experience at a decent price point. I scheduled a 90 min session, 60 min body 30 min foot massage. My masseuse applied perfect amount of pressure and checked in every here and there to make sure pressure was okay or temp of hot stones were not too hot. I also love that hot stones were included especially since most places charge extra for that. My fiancé and I came here for a couples massage to celebrate our anniversary. We found them on Groupon and they honored the online price in store. They scheduled us same day which was really nice. We had the 60 minute deep tissue couples massage with hot stones. Our two masseuses were very respectful and created a very relaxing experience for us. There was calm music playing and our room was dimly lit with nice decor. It sounded like someone somewhere else in the building was blasting rock music as I could hear it throughout my session which was a little distracting but not too much. The masseuse that took care of me was not too hard and not too light. He did a pretty good job and did a much better job than the last place I went for a massage. The hot stones that were used felt very nice on my back and I appreciated the facial massage and head massage that were included, it truly was a full body massage. My fiancé has experienced a lot of back pain so we were especially excited for him to get a massage. He also enjoyed his massage however his masseuse tended to be a little light handed with really getting in there to work out the knots in his muscles. He also commented he wished she focused more on the lower back instead of the shoulders however we did not mention his back pain and desire for them to focus on the back so I won't count that against them. Overall the experience was relaxing and I even fell asleep multiple times. I wish the masseuses spoke English so we could have communicated better with them as we tried to ask about lower back massages and pricing when they were ringing us up but they didn't seem to understand us. I also think there were a couple things they could have done to make the experience even more relaxing like having options for the lotions they were using on us, hot wash cloths on our faces that have been in essential oils, having a diffuser in the room so it would smell nice, and also just overall being able to communicate more about what our needs are. They had an iPad for us to highlight areas we wanted to avoid or focus on but since we couldn't verbally communicate that with the masseuse, it wasn't very helpful. If you're looking to get a massage for the first time I think the is would be a good place to start but if you frequently get massages or have tried different places, I'm not sure if the experience will supersede the average spa. read more

It troubles me to write this being it was my 2nd visit and I'd planned on making this an monthly habit. However, when placed in room I noticed there was hair in the "little box" thing.. Which I overlooked until at start of massage she tried to place my phone into it, and I had to inform not to because of the hair. Massage was relaxing until someone bursted into the door speaking their native language and she immediately left out behind them with no warning. I give or take 4 minutes max she stepped away, which gave me enough time to get up and locate phone from the table to re-shuffle my playlist (in headphones) not to mention check the current time as well. Little after that she returned and immediately begin rubbing with her elbows no sanitation or nothing. Right back to work! As mentioned before I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt so I did not make an fuss about anything. Yet, I knew well ahead of time I wouldn't be leaving the "suggested amount of 20% tip." Assuming we'd work our way up to that as visits increased.. Boy! Was I wrong I heard an 2nd knock at the door and this time there was no opening just a knock and maybe 5 minutes after she wiped me off and informed we were finished. Great! Me being me, I immediately checked phone and noticed it was 2:06pm, and she did not enter the room until 1:09pm and remember the 3-4 minutes she unexplainably step out. Yeah to some it may not be much however to me an 1hour is 1hr!! So I was disappointed but not angry and not encouraged to over tip either. I simply made an mental note to try again next time. However my 5% tip did not sit too well with Ms.Lily and she began to ask for more and even point to the sign which says "suggested" tip of 20%. Went today with my girlfriend, it was our first experience. We got a couples massage with aromatherapy and hot stones. Be mindful that no one speaks English so you won't be able to communicate unless you are fluent in Chinese. The facility is small and appeared to be clean but as soon as we walked in and gave our names, we were rushed into our room (there are about 5 total). Also, the couples massage room does not have side by side massage tables. They are on opposite ends so your head will be pointed towards your partners head about 3 -5 feet away. Now, my deep tissue massage was done by Kevin and he has strong hands and did a pretty good job. I would give him a C+|B-. My girlfriend had a woman and I kept hearing her tell her to add more pressure, go deeper, harder. After we were done, she told me that the massage was subpar and not worth the cost. She gave her an overall grade of a D+. The hot stones portion was by far the highlight but it lasted about 2 minutes. We are both used to the stones being utilized longer and placed in tighter areas but that didn't happen. They were only used on our shoulder blades. After we got dressed and walked out into the lobby, the masseuse Kevin had the iPad open with "TIP" written at the top. So much for subtlety! Also, if you checkin on Yelp, you get free hot stones or a glass of wine. Since hot stones were already included, we opted for the red wine, which was very cheap, bitter, and served cold?!? I signed up for a couples massage and filled out my questionnaire before we went into the rooms. I circled that I wanted extra attention to my neck and shoulders. We handed the iPads back and waited for our turn which wasn't too long. The rooms were nice and clean with relaxing music. We were told to take our clothes off and get into bed. The masseurs entered the room and asked us to lay face down. They would ask every now and then if we were okay or if the pressure was okay. The reason I rated this 2 stars was due to never getting extra attention to my shoulders or neck and only after the massage did I learn the person I went with had gotten the extra attention to her neck/shoulders and they must've gotten the iPad preferences mixed up or didn't refer back to it before coming into the room. My issue was that I wish they went over your concerns before beginning the massage to ensure what you wanted them to focus on would be to your satisfaction. I more than likely won't return or recommend coming here if you are wanting a customized/focused massage for each party. read more

EDIT 01/31/23: The owner reached out to me with the offer of a redo to make sure my massage experience was the one I expected. I accepted the opportunity to make the service right, and I'm glad I did instead of pressing for a refund. I received a trigger point massage that pinned and released the knots that were previously spasming. Pressure and technique were appropriately adjusted for muscle, fascia, and tendons. Attentive care was given to the bony contours of the hips, shoulders blades, and clavicle. Even the scoliosis in my back was respected without my mentioning its existence. A pre, mid, and post conversation about my body's needs/injuries created a thorough body massage experience. When I stepped down from the table, my body felt quiet and I could once again feel oxygen flowing to all my muscles. I felt grounded to the Earth again and connected with myself. Think twice before losing your hard-earned money visiting Rejuvenate Body Spa as a new place to try. My experience could be yours. I arrived for my 7pm appointment after receiving confirmation texts for my visit. The man who massaged my body never introduced himself with his name. For deep tissue work, I kept having to ask for more pressure. The man used broad hand and forearm strokes, and an inattentive elbow. His elbow repeatedly ran over the actual bones of my spine, which hurt incredibly. Bone on bone. I was face down in tears, waiting for him to move from the area. His broad strokes and overuse of oil made it impossible for his hands to hear or catch the knots underneath the muscles on the surface. Many muscles in my neck, delts, triceps, forearms, hands, and quads were abandoned while still spasming. How can a masseuse's hands be so deaf to the knots and spasms of the musculature underneath them? For the foot massage, he took what felt like his knuckles over my poor plantar fascia as though they were muscles, and with such repetitive speed that ignored the tightest areas, I was wincing the entire time. And again, the broad hand strokes used on both my calves left them with knots that were never addressed. Instead, the knots were left aggravated. Their website asks to pay in cash, which I did, and I tipped the standard 20% because I felt bad that this man still gave his time even though he is grossly under trained, and likely uncertified. I'm appalled I was not given a receipt of any sort. How are you tracking this in your system? How can a business hold itself accountable? I would like to see the owner take the opportunity to make this right. It took me time to save up the money to get the wellness attention my body needed. I paid in cash but left with the same body pains I came in to get help with. I was never asked if I'd had any prior injuries or what places needed attention over others. Their location is in a strip mall and they advised to bring cash only as we wanted to get the couples massage deal for $99 for one hour. I went there for their 60 min deep tissue message + 60 min foot message package and the guy spent the whole time rubbing oil on me. I am a frequent customer here. I must rave about my most recent massage by Jessica. I have very tight shoulders and this time I was in pain and had issues lifting my left arm. She was doing magical healing and applied hard firm but good pressure. I've had others who do firm before but Jessica was getting all the right pressure points and my body balanced out. She applied her body weight, sat on specific areas, and used her knee and elbows. I've tried many different things to loosen my shoulders including acupuncture but she finally unlocked it. I was pain free the next day. I tend to carry stress in my shoulders and tend to have tight muscles and need such strong pressure. Hard isn't enough as others would hurt me. I would rate this 4.5 stars. As the first day of my "staycation" during Covid, I decided to treat myself to their 3 hour spa package. When I do any spa, I come for their services. The atmosphere I can care less for which is part of the big costs of the ritzier spas. Of course, it has to be clean but other than that... I don't need the theatrics of zen waterfalls and bamboo plants surrounding the area. I've been spent a lot of $$$ for massages that were lack luster and no knots were taken out. That is not the case here. This is a local small business but the massage service and style will be similar to Jiao's reflexology or treat your feet. You will have every knot taken out. Sometimes knots you didn't know you had. I had a woman masseuse and she was great. She was heavy handed during some parts but you can always mention it and they will adjust accordingly. My favorite was the facial. Again, I've had facials where they literally used a Clarisonic,threw a mask on, called it a day, and sell me a product. I would say since this is my first day, I don't know how the products will react to my skin yet but I am pleased with the service. This spa is a hidden gem. It took me 45+ mins to get here but it's well worth it. I love their couple special which they have many. My all time favorite is either the 3hrs facial+body+foot but hubby kinda afraid of the facial bc he has a lot of acne; on those days we'll do the 2hrs foot and body. We almost always get the same 2 ladies and they're great. Don't judge a book by it's cover because those ladies are small but they're so strong. I am a regular... probably have been here close to a dozen times over the last year or two. I would go more if my pockets were deeper. The place is close to where I live, the ladies are nice and they are STRONG. My preference is a deep tissue massage and they always deliver. They do this move with their forearm that is killer -- their elbows dig deep into my back without being overly painful and it is SO SATISFYING. They also have these parallel bars dropping from the ceiling for walking on your back, but I haven't partaken in that. My last visit (this past weekend), Kay shared with me that Kiki, the owner, will likely close Rejuvenate by November or end of year, as the current location is too far from her home. She will likely open a new location, but I do not have any details about that quite yet. So get in your massages while you can! read more
