We when arrived, we had to wait 10 minutes which wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the employees whispering and peaking around the corner at us while we were in the lobby. They put us in a room together which we didn't ask for, like a couples massage, they just assumed. I asked for the masseuse to be more gentle when she started and I'm not sure if she understood me well because she wasn't that gentle. The worst part was the hot stones. They were too hot for the masseuse the handle but they tried to put them on us anyway. We had to have them remove it on our bill because they were too hot to put them on anybody or anything! They even left burn marks on my back. The spa is also covered in dust, the fish tank is disgustingly filthy, and had a musty smell in the rooms. They also refused to give a refund for the horrible service that was provided. The owner and employees will not take responsibility for their actions and inactions (see the owners response below). I have also updated my pictures with timestamps of the burn in question. I still have the mark 2 weeks later and it didn't show up right away, before we left the spa. I am also not from California nor do I live there to have the time to go back. I would never recommend this place.

Here you lie down on a massage table and they wash your hair and give you a scalp massage with some face and neck for about 45 min. They shampoo and condition you twice, then dry and comb your hair. The best part is that they then remove the hair wash sink and you flip over for a full back and shoulder massage for the last 15 min. I think this is better than the typical $100+ head spa service. The comb, hair dryer, table and sink were all very clean and I left feeling super relaxed. There's also an option to do a 30 min foot massage along with this head spa service which I thought was cool. I will be back!

The masseuse was strong and really worked out some of those stubborn knots. There was a minor communication hiccup (English isn't everyone's first language here) -- my request for cupping on my legs was missed. Just so you know, if you're getting a massage in the community room, it is required that you stay partially clothed. I knew that's what I was signing up for so I wore a pair of short shorts and a loose fitting tank top. The masseuse was wonderful. Started out with a fantastic head and neck massage and really focused on my scalenes which are extremely tight. I felt so much relief after that massage. The foot reflexology is wonderful. They spent a really long time on my feet. This location is extremely clean and it was very quiet and peaceful in the community room. I will absolutely return.
