I had a discovery call with you prior to this consultation and you told me that my case was the type of case that your clinic works with all the time. This is why I decided to pay the $500 because I thought I would get an individualized plan. I have had consultations with other functional medicine practitioners and naturopaths before and this appointment was used to build a plan for me. Not listen to a sales pitch. I found out the cost for these other providers' programs during the 15 minute discovery call. And by the way, you are not telling the truth about offering a $35,000 program. You said "For accuracy, we don't offer a $35,000 program". I have documents to prove that you do, which I've posted here. There are three tiers I was offered: Platinum 12 month program, a Gold 12 month program but not as many "perks" and visits, and then a 6 month program, which I was deterred from because I have a lot of issues and it takes time to resolve (which I agree with). And all of these programs don't include labs or supplements!! I was being steered towards the Platinum program for 35k, BUT if I signed up before 7/30/25 and paid in full, I would only pay $25k! Heck of a deal! "Spots are limited! Fast Action Bonus if you sign up today!" Seriously this is what you hear on an infomercial or used car sales lot. You are clearly just motivated by money and not helping people. Every time I come in for acupuncture with Dr. Shen, the process is smooth from start to finish. The insurance and billing process is also very easy. The front desk handles everything for me, and I only have to pay my copay, which makes each visit stress-free. I have been seeing Dr. Shen for the past couple of months and have completed about 11 treatments so far. She has helped me with several health concerns, especially my back pain, which has improved a lot since starting treatment. What surprised me most is how much she has also helped with my allergies. I can breathe so much easier now. Dr. Shen is very busy at the Pleasanton location, so sometimes I drive to the Fremont office to see her.
