I scheduled face to face appointment with Claudia and stopped searching for other services because everything was set up. On the day of my appointment Claudia, the therapist, reached out to me saying she is not available and it was only a zoom meeting. I have to cancel, wasted my time, and now have to find another place. It is sad that when people reach out for help in such a sensitive topic, clinics don't care that it is hard to do.

He has really cool toys for people with anxiety to have something to hold while they talk. I've noticed that all good counselors, therapists, and psychiatrists I've been to usually have toys. I first met Dennis when I was 17, my parents sent me to him because I was deeply depressed. I didn't feel comfortable opening up to any of the other therapists or psychologists I was seeing, because they didn't really try to connect with me. Dennis reminded me that I was a person, under all my anger and sadness and pain. I was pretty numb and disconnected from emotions, but he saw past all that to the person I was. I moved away before college, but when I realized I had unresolved things to sort through last month Dennis was the one I chose to seek treatment from through zoom. It's nice to have someone in your corner and Dennis is always in your corner.

They listen to how you are doing and make suggestions of how to improve your situation. They adjust the plan as needed. The physical therapy assistants are also special folks. Even after I had been going for weeks, assistants observed and corrected postioning problems from time to time. There is no sense doing exercises if you aren't trying to get the best results!
