Had to do something extreme to deal with the shoulder/arm & wrist pain I have been suffering for the past couple of months. My weekly chiropractic visits weren't getting the job done, so, on the recommendation of my chiropractor, I searched for a massage therapist in the Addison area that had sports massage expertise. Having searched the Yelp ratings in the area, I chose Relax & Heal Massage. I called Michelle and was fortunate to get a next day appointment. She was very professional, patient, and knowledgeable explaining the differences in techniques. Once she began to work my arms and wrists, I immediately felt the tension released and experienced a great sense of relief. After a solid hour of upper body work, I got dressed and could feel an incredible difference in the way I felt. Michelle has an awesome gift of managed strength with control, coupled with technique and the gentlest disposition. Been looking for a good massage therapist who I could visit on monthly basis, preferably at my home. After checking Yelp reviews, I decided to give Relax & Heal a try. Michelle was great on the phone, providing directions and asking questions to ensure I booked appropriately. I found the site easily, arriving early to fill out the information documents. Not going to describe the interior; other reviewers have done that. Michelle has incredible hands. She worked hard on the three problem areas I had identified. It's been months since my last massage and I was a mess. Michelle took great care, listened to my rambling as I relaxed, and finished with a great 30 mins of reflexology that sealed the deal - I had been restored to a whole person. Going back in two weeks for an hour reflexology and after a bit of arranging, hopefully Michelle will be arriving to the house to save me on a monthly basis. read more

Located in an office building where you can see people hard at work. However located on the first floor is relax and heal massage. Great thanks for helping me relax and taking my appointment last minute. Only complaint is I wish it had lasted longer. Ill be seeing Michelle again soon read more

Michelle is AMAZING. She's got incredible intuition on how much pressure, where to do a little more deep tissue work and has powerful hands without being painful. She immediately understood the problem areas I described and was attentive to those areas in a way that really did bring healing & relief. I could FEEL the knots loosen in my back and I was so, so relaxed after 60 minutes. FYI, I get massages monthly back in California and this was one of THE best massages I've had. Her demeanor was warm, professional and gracious - she checked in a few times but largely just let me zone out. I would wholeheartedly visit her more often if I lived in the area!! read more

I love Michelle. The sports massage is a must after a big event that leaves you achy and sore. In general, Michelle understands muscles and relaxation. I called the morning of, hoping to get 60 or 90 minute massage. She called right back saying she could fit me and gave me a time. The experience was not as great as I had hoped it would be based on the reviews. I was lost when I walked into the building. I finally called, since I basically went around the whole building. I asked for a deep tissue but felt more like a Swedish massage. Also, before we started I did know if I was going to get the 60 or 90 min massage. Also, you can hear doors opening and closing during your massage which was very distracting when your are trying to doze off and then get awaken by a door opening. read more

Really enjoyed my prenatal massage with Michelle. She was very professional and made me feel at ease especially since it was my first massage. The location is kind of weird since it's not in a spa, but it was nice and clean and she is a licensed masseuse. Would definitely recommend this place bc they are very reasonably priced compared to some of the other spas. read more
