I think they did more of a hybrid of Thai / Swedish for me because I was having a hard time with the pressure because I was sore from working out, but my husband had more of the traditional Thai massage with more walking/pressure work on him. I told my lady that my shoulders were my biggest issue and I really appreciated that she took the time to actually be very intentional with working on aaallll the shoulder muscles. I've had a few massages lately where all they do is use their forearms on my shoulders and usually hurts more than helps but not this time! I genuinely want to go back so she can keep working on all the knots and tightness. My MIL also loved her massage too. She just kept saying how excellent it was for her (also first time). Reading the other reviews, I can see how the tipping seems like a lot but that feels like everywhere these days. She earned hers this time at least vs other times where it didn't seem worth it. She spent 30 min of a 90 minute massage on my calves and the back of my knee which hurt so much. I like the calf but the knee this was weird since there's only tendons there no muscle. That's a first. The other parts she wasn't applying enough pressure so I asked if she can go harder and she did but she was panting, short of breathe and her joints were cracking all over the place I never feared the well-being of a massage therapist before. She walked on my back but I was weird about it because I kept wondering if she washes her feet between clients since she was all up in my traps and near my face. At the end you get stretched out which was awkward because she doesn't try to cover during the stretch so I felt kinda funky during that part. You didn't book online so you must take next available." I responded that I'm here for a massage with her and clearly she's available, but she again refused and said I had to take next available. She seemed to want to pick a fight, but I had no idea why as I was happy and excited when I walked in the door, but now I'm confused and feel like I'm being cornered and under attack for some reason unknown to me. I then doubled down and asked if she was refusing to let me have a session with Bella and she said yes. I said "okay. Then I'll leave as I'm not interested in trying someone new."
