I understand all the negative reviews: this is NOT a massage meant to relax. But if you have significant knots or muscle pain, these ladies will eliminate it very roughly but effectively. Communication with the staff is difficult, but the service works well for pain relief, especially if you are a big guy who always needs a therapist to press harder. This place is also affordable, at a little more than $1 per minute. I did the 40-minute table massage and felt better (albeit a little sore) walking out than I did going in. But if you're looking for the type of relaxing, calming, carefully-designed and gently-executed massage you might get at a luxury resort or higher price point, look somewhere else! read more

Was at mall to buy the daughter some shoes. I had no more turned the corner and started walking up the Mall to hit the restroom before we went to Scheels, and one of the gentlemen standing off to the side of the chairs in the center of this portion of the mall made direct eye contact with me. I'm no Rube believe me this. He looked at me and knew exactly what I needed before I did. He motioned me over and I let him know I would be right there after I hit the Men's room. I don't know anything about any of the other people who have left reviews, maybe it's because I'm just a big strong guy, but I needed, and enjoyed the deep muscle massage. Several times I was asked if it was "too much" so if your massage was too intense I feel like that's on you for not communicating with your masseuse. This guy definitely knew what he was doing, working the different muscle groups, up and down my back. Progressively working down by layers all the muscles in my back. While he was doing it it felt like it made sense to me that what he was doing prior, set the stage for what he was doing at present to have the fullest effect of releasing all the stiffness and tension that a fifty year old trucker accumulates from sitting at the wheel,for over two thousand miles a week. Not to mention the all the stress from the job and dealing with all you knuckleheads on your phones barely paying attention to the road, let alone the other vehicles sharing those few lanes. But that's a whole other topic. I started with just a 30min massage but he was doing such a brilliant job when he asked I gave him the go ahead for another ten or fifteen I forget now. I felt amazing when I finally stood up, best I had that I could remember. And I haven't felt any where near half as well since my last chance I had to get back into one of those chairs a few days later on the return trip. And I will stop each and every chance I get when I'm driving through Des Moines. The second guy wasn't as good as the first, but he wasn't bad at it either. Money well spent in my world. I cannot give them any higher praise, nor recommend them any more highly without embarrassing myself slathering on and on with further compliments. If it's too strong, Tell Them. No point in suffering and then crying to everyone else who isn't rubbing your back that it's too hard. I've been here several times for reflexology on my feet and every time was great except this time. I would barely call it a foot rub and definitely NOT reflexology! I didn't know who to talk to that would understand me and my total dislike of the service that was provided this time. I'm not concerned and not sure if I'll ever go back. Very unhappy! read more

WOWIE ZOWIE if you like deep pressure here is your place! I have been here a couple times now, to get massages! They have a "keyosk" type chair massage set up in the middle of the mall and they also have their own store with tables, reflexology stations, and chair massage! I have done a table, and a couple chair massages here... Why? It's east to get in, and your bond to spend 30-50 bucks at the mall anyway and I might as well do it on my sore body! My wife's feet and legs were really sore so she opted for a half hour of reflexology where I got a chair massage! My massage was intense and very very very deep pressure! At times painful, but I was also very sore from a weekend of shows! So when I was done I felt like a million bucks. Make sure you tell the therapist if the pressure is to much and they will back off a bit! Prices are pretty good, and you get a lot of bang for your buck on a half hour on the table or chair! They could probably do a better job of wiping down the chairs and or changing the sheets between clients but you do get a little bottle of water to go and they are usually not a very long wait so you can walk up get a massage and get out! read more

The hour body massage was amazing! I felt terrific the rest of the day!However, the 30 minutes for the foot massage I recived after was very unimpressive. I paid for my daughter to have both as well and it was 200 dollars for the both of us, hour body massage and 30 minute foot massage. We both agreed thsgwe have had better foot massages at pedicure places. Not impressed. The guy i had tried to upsell me on a longer time while my buddy's therapist was eating while she worked. Absolutely unprofessional place. Don't go here!!!! I showed their own advertising pamphlet with what I wanted done. They were supposed to do 30 minute foot massage with soak. Soak NEVER happened. They are too, too rough!!! Then while one was doing foot massage another one did a simply AWFUL massage of my face and head. Then she put on something on her hands that was gel like, pulled out my neck on my turtle neck top and start massaging under my clothing. SHE WAS TOO ROUGH!!!! Then the package I wanted was 30 minute foot massage with soak and 30 minute chair massage for $65, When done they charged me $95 and I could not argue with them as they acted as though they spoke no English. None of them on Friday the 24th could decently communicate with me. Such a huge disappointment and waste of money. Still sore today , Sunday, from massage on Friday!!!! The girlfriend and I decided we needed massages and the mall massage chairs just wouldn't do this time! So we stopped by this place for a 30min massage on their massage tables. You don't get undressed here and they get right to kneading and massaging your aches and pain away. Very strong lady and she hit all the right areas on my back. My girlfriend said her's was good too. We both walked away in a daze since we both almost fell asleep during our massage lol. I'd come back again if I'm ever at the mall and need to get rid of some pain. read more

Nothing works better for getting out kinks than traditional Chinese massage. I had a 30 minute table massage and asked the masseuse to focus mainly on my upper back, neck and feet. She did a great job. I could feel her working out the tightness and knots in my neck and shoulders felt such relief afterward. FYI, Chinese massage focuses more on deep tissue and pressure points --less of the long, soft strokes of Swedish massage, but the masseuse kept asking if the pressure was ok. I prefer very firm pressure, but they seemed very eager to adjust to an individual's comfort level. Prices are very reasonable and they have the option of a table or chair massage. I love this place, but I can understand why some don't. I enjoy a very deep borderline painful massage because I get a great benefit afterwards. I ask them to use a lot of pressure. One of the females there will walk on your back and it feels amazing. It takes some getting used to but once you can relax and not fight it you start to enjoy some awesome benefits. Had my first massage here the other day. It was not relaxin AT ALL!! They used a towel to rub my back, dug their elbows into my spine-which still hurts like a you know what 3 days out, and the hot stones burned. Not only that, but after I paid and didn't write a tip on the receipt, the lady BEGGED me for a tip! I'm sorry, but I came for a massage, not back breaking experience. I'm not gonna tip.
