She wasn't but I was told I could go early with Jennifer and so glad I did. She is just as great as Summer was last time, maybe better. The room was comfortably warm, dimly lit and nice music level. I asked Jennifer if she massaged as hard as Summer for the deep tissue and she seemed reluctant but she was so strong and a real trooper. She hit all of my sore spots that caused me to come in with precision. I think I fell asleep three times. The stretching at the end got my back popped a few times and my neck once though that was not on purpose. I am glad to have tried Jennifer and am looking forward to trying a different one next time. So, as of now, Jennifer and Summer are excellent choices to book for deep tissue.

Dora has all of this experience as a masseuse. It had been many YEARS since I've last had a massage, but pain on the left side of my body brought me to Waukee Massage Spa. I booked a same day appointment online which was easy to do. However, next time I'll book via phone since Dora gets so busy she may not have time to check appointments online. My appointment started at 3pm but I arrived 20 mins early. Dora was able to take me early so I started my appointment at 245pm which I appreciated. I was taken to a private room with a very comfortable massage table. The temperature in the room was great too. Dora provided a fantastic massage with great pressure and got rid of all the tension in my body (and I had a lot). She worked so hard the entire hour of my appointment and maintained the pressure the entire time. She is a miracle worker!!! I also could not believe how much tension I had as she was going through each part of my body. They offer Chinese-style massage, so if you're into that, this place is definitely for you. - Price. For the two of us, total cost was $120 for a full hour. The bad: - Not very private. Most of this place is one big open space. And even though they put us in "private" rooms, the door to the room was a curtain, so you could hear everything going on in the rest of the space (i.e. front desk staff chatting, other patrons talking, etc). - They interrupted us 15 minutes in to tell us their credit card machine was down and to ask if we had cash.
