If I could score less, I would. For the second year in a row I have contracted a terrible nail infection from Q Nails. First was last February 2020, infecting all 10 fingers, and required $ prescription and months of recuperation for my nails. This year, I decided to try them again since it had been a rough year for all with the pandemic. It also happens to be the most convenient salon for me. I wish I had not tried... Another fungal infection on more than half of my nails (so far). I'm calling in for another prescription as we speak. I need to save other unsuspecting nail clients from this establishment. read more

This place is very prejudiced on who they accept and take as a customer at specific times. There was sign might say that they are open but only to specific people. You're treated depending on who you are and who you know here. Beware he get your nails done by only specific tech any good here and they are specifically by appointment only if you're lucky you may get one of them on a walk in if not be prepared to go somewhere else to have your nails fixed afterwords. read more

Where do I start? Bear with me, I have a list of why I wouldn't waste my money at Q-Nails. Not friendly AT ALL. They just said "ok." Ok what? Where do I sit? What do you have to offer in pedicures? Zero communication. He did not put anything in the water that my feet were soaking in. Was "rough" with my toes and hurt me quit a few times cutting my cuticles. Scraped the bottom of my feet with a pumice stone for about 30-45 seconds on each foot and that was it. Rubbed lotion on my legs and then wiped it off with a hot towel. That was it. Zero massage. Nothing. Zilch. Then painted my toes and I was done. So basically, I soaked my feet in warm water, had lotion put on and taken off my legs and my toes painted. I could of done all that for free at home. Ridiculous!!! read more

This is the spot for getting your manis and pedis in Collinsville. They have really talented employees and are always upgrading their facilities. Because they do a lot of walk-in business, you may have to wait for a little bit, but it's usually nothing ridiculous. I would recommend asking for the paraffin for a little more cost. They also offer tanning, but I have never tried it. read more

If you need a pedicure, this is your spot. If you need gel nails done, RUN don't walk, literally anywhere else. I was happy they got me in immediately as a walk in. I upgraded to the deluxe pedicure and was happy with it. I asked for a gel manicure with white tips. I normally do not go for this but I was in a wedding the following day and it was a request of the bride. The woman who did my nails had no idea how to use the UV light that cures the gel. She also only put on two coats. I had to keep asking her to turn the UV light back on so they would cure. She just kept pushing all of the buttons and banging on it. Then reading and re-reading the boxes the bottle of gel came out of. Two of the nails had the gel breaking and chipping two days later. And she didn't start at the base of the nail near the cuticle so they looked like I got them done a week ago or more when really it was just 2 days prior. Also I asked her to not cut them down and she did anyway. I won't ever go back here again. read more

This was the WORST pedicure I have ever had in my entire life. After my nails dried, I looked at them and could not believe what I saw. The majority of the nail polish was all over the bottom of my toes. On some of my toes she didn't even get any polish on the actual nail!!! I looked up and tried to get several people's attention, but no one would respond! No one came over (even when I asked them to), no one even looked up after I said "excuse me" about ten times. The woman that did my pedicure was no where to be found. I stood up and continued to try and get someone's attention, and was completely ignored. I left immediately, even though I wanted my money back, but sadly the woman I spoke to didn't even understand what the word "refund" meant. Do not go here. Do not waste your time or money. read more

I went there a few times. To give them the benefit of the doubt. My the nail polish peeled off some of my fingers 3 times. Two different times, they fixed them. One time they peeled off twice on both of my hands and I asked him about it and they didn't give me a good reason. I just figured that their nail polish is old on both times, I had to got them redone. Then I went in there recently just to get nails put on no polish (from my experience with their polish). It cost me $30! Their prices went up over $5 in some cases within a months time. I took a picture of their price board a few months ago so that's how I know it went up so much. When I was sitting in there I noticed that the drill bits was very dirty! They do not keep their equipment as clean as they should. And I felt that I didn't get the service that I should have for such a high price salon! I'm done I won't go back! I needed a quick pedicure without a wait. I got right in. They were attentive to my requests. For example, I don't like my water hot for my foot soak and I don't like rough rubbing on my legs when massaged. $20 for a basic pedi that included paraffin foot dip and exfoliated my legs and feet. Amazing service--unparalleled attention to detail when filing and shaping my gel nails and fills. I used to be a run around girl when it came to getting my nails done but the skills here are unmatched--best shaping & sculpting--they're now my steady nail salon. Friendly to boot, and the nails I walk out with are amazing every time--not too thick, perfectly shaped, thoroughly filed and sculpted, polished to perfect. Even happily do my design requests. This is the worst experience I've had a nail salon in a long time. I had to wait for over an hour; they kept telling me just a few more minutes. If they had told me it would be an hour, I would have gone somewhere else or come back tomorrow. The technician was a guy from a different salon and he was extremely insulting and rude. He didn't have to add any nails he didn't have to cut them down, he hardly even shaped them. He spent 20 minutes total & I had the same gel polish put on I always have. Yet they charged me $25!!! The last time, at the same salon, I had a fill with cut down, my cuticles done, a hand massage including hot towel & the same gel polish, all for $25. So not only did I wait an hour, I feel I was blatantly ripped off. Thus, i will never go back to this salon - there are plenty of others close by. read more

I walked in here to get a pedicure. They were not busy so I got right in. The service was just OK. Not friendly at all. The woman mumbled under her breath the entire time. My feet are in good shape so there shouldn't have been anything to complain about. On my big toes, she started the polish so far away from my cuticles, it looks like they were done 2 weeks ago. I had tipped her (she looked surprised) and left before I noticed. They had an opportunity to gain a new and loyal customer due to the proximity of the salon to where I live. I have been going to Q Nail for four years now. It is in Collinsville, and I drive from Belleville...passing up many nail salons along the way for a reason: They are great. It doesn't matter if you need acrylic nails, gel, manicure, or pedicure...all services are always done correctly and so are their people. This is the worst nail salon in collinsville. The pedicures were horrible, i had to wait 30 minutes even though I had an appointment. Customer service was the worst I've ever experienced. I went to Q Nails today to get a full set put on. When I walked it everything seemed clean. Nice decor although I would not recommend this place at all. My nails look horrible. I don't know if the lady got confused or what she was doing. After she put on the acrylic she used the attachment on the drill that they usually use last to smooth everything out burned me with the drill then she used the grinding tip last which put alot of grooves in the nail then she burned me twice more with the drill. Told me to wash my hands then applied the american manicure polish which I had to ask her to remove black specks that it was putting onto mt nails. My nails look awful tons of grind marks that are very noticeable. I can not believe I paid $25 for this. I would tell anyone that is thinking of going here to not waste their money because that is exactly what you will be doing is wasting your money. read more
