Came in for a couples massage with hot stones from Groupon. Upon entering the place, no one greeted us. We were told to wait a few minutes until we can go back then we went into a room and were given no directions on what to do. We didn't know if we should undress or what to do. They came in and signaled us to undress and we finally got the memo (they don't speak much english, I don't really care about that but i wished they could've let us know to undress). Anyway, they were nice about the misunderstanding and the massage got started, if you could call it a massage. I am a decently muscular guy and I like hard massages but it felt like I was being tortured. I have tons a nasty bruises all over my back and neck from it. Not to mention the fact that I didn't even get hot stones or get to choose which massage style I wanted which were listed in the Groupon as part of the experience. Both me and my girlfriend left in pain and in much worse condition than when we arrived. We basically paid 100 dollars to get beat up. I don't hold grudges or anything but i would definitely advise anyone who is thinking of coming here to be careful because I certainly wont ever be back. read more

Horrible experience! We got to the massage and no one greeted us, then we couldn't communicate with them as they didn't speak nor understand English. We confirmed that we want our massage done with females and they confirmed they can make this happen. We got to the massage at 3:55 for our 4:00pm appointment and let us know wait 15 mins we will take you with two females. The actual massage was amazing. I feel like the lady who did my massage did a great job and she knew what she was doing. The only thing that was a little unsettling was how loud it was. I always like to relax during my massages (maybe even fall asleep) but they were putting up shelves or something and the screw gun was so loud. It actually stressed me out more to hear that the whole time. Also, my lady was talking to other workers very loudly, leaving to take phone calls, and making calls all while doing my massage. We made an appointment for a couple's massage and asked for one male and one female masseuse. The person on the phone said no problem and that they have booked the appointment. We made this appointment about 7 hours before the massage time. Arrived at the location only to be told they are very busy and no female masseuse is available. No apology or remorse from the owner, no offer to make up for their own blunder, just a rude, "we are too busy, no female masseuse available." They really need to get their customer service fixed. We drove 35 min only to be told this and if no female was available any longer, they should have called to inform of us this prior to the appointment. More than them messing this up, I was more disappointed with their lack of customer service and being dismissive and rude about the situation. Will not be back. read more

I brought my mom and auntie here for a couple's massage. Our appointment was at 1:00pm and we arrived 8 minutes before 1. The guy at the front asked us to wait couple of seconds, which at first I thought is reasonable as we arrived early. 10 minutes turns into 20 minutes and they are taking people that came after us in. I don't understand why we had to wait. Finally somebody takes them in. While they were inside, I decided to pay for my mom and my auntie. I had two $50 spa finder gift cards, which the guy at the front told me they don't accept. Remind you, before booking an appointment, I called and asked them if they accept it. They told me yes they do accept it. Then after 5 minutes another guy comes out and tell me that they do accept it. He tried to charge me using the gift card and now somehow my gift card is bad or maybe they are all clueless and don't know how to use it. At this point, I'm tired and exhausted. I decided to pay with cash. My total was $110 and I gave the front desk guy $200. He tried to give me my change back and while he was doing so I told him that he can just give me $80 back. He looked at me all weirdly and said, "what do you mean?" (In perfect English) I told him he can keep the rest of $10 as tip. He then yelled at me, "ONLY $10" and showed me a sign that says tip in cash and what is the recommended tip for each type of massage. (Recommended not necessary) I gave him $10 more as that's what the sign said. I understand that tipping is necessary. I am 10% tipping type of person, 20% or 25% for exceptional service. I just don't think it was reasonable for that particular service . I never had anyone yell at me. That was so disrespectful. There's a nicer way of saying things. First you make me wait then you don't accept my gift cards and now you somehow feel entitled to 20% tip. Never coming back here!!! read more

I think they are completely NOT TRAINED here. Worst massage I have ever had in my life. They press super hard on your bones and have no sense of muscle direction/layout, so I was left with bruises. Sadly, the only part I asked to be massaged and worked on - my neck and shoulders - were barely touched. This to me showcases that they have no training - which is required to work on someone's neck. I was in need of a last minute massage and I found a great Groupon for Relax Rite-- $38 for an hour deep tissue massage! (Normally $45, but Groupon was offering 30% off on particular deals). I called an hour ahead and came in on an early Sunday afternoon. I showed the front desk my Groupon and I was immediately catered to as it was not busy. I first noticed that the space was an open area and that there were only partitions to separate the massage beds. You start off on a reclining chair with a foot soak and about a 25-minute reflexology session. After, you are transferred to the massage bed for a full-body massage (about 30-40 minutes). FYI this place is clothes ON, which is unconventional, but if you're a person that's very wary about being touched such as myself (LOL), you wouldn't mind this method at all as they still provide a deep and strong massage. My masseuse really hit certain pressure points and worked his way allover my back. I asked him to focus on my lower back where all my soreness was from exercise and he quickly accommodated to my request. The workers are very friendly and the ambiance is serene with very low music and soft lighting. They also give stamp cards where after 10 sessions, you get a 30-minute massage for free! Mind you this place isn't luxurious or traditional pampering by any means, but they do give great, inexpensive massages, just no frills. I was on a time crunch so it was perfect for me. Relax Rite is a no frills, clothes on, chair massage kind of place. The perks are that they are cheap at $1 per minute, you can get any length of massage and appointments are not necessary. I called at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night and they were able to take me 15 minutes later. While I was there another lady came in for a 15 minute neck and shoulder massage and said she had two friends who were joining her. Everyone was taken care of. There is no privacy and no scented oils or luxurious tables but that's not really what they're aiming for anyway. The pressure is great. They were very firm and this is how I prefer it. The masseuse said several times to just let him know if the pressure was too much but it was perfect and very relaxing. I left thoroughly unknotted. They also run specials on Groupon, Yelp, and an in-house special for a whole hour for $45. You can't beat the prices for a good massage. Great massages for a fraction of the price! You can get an hour foot and back accupressure for $45! Beat that! The masseuse were mostly male, which is a good thing for me since I like my massages a little bit on stronger end. I take a star off because there are no dividers between the chairs and the lights are a bit bright. If you provide some cheap dividers and dim the lights a little, it can create a more relaxed and private atmosphere. Be careful when purchasing the coupons off of Yelp. This place was a bit odd- more like an open showcase room. I had a groupon but it was not necessary as their regular prices are just as low for walk in. Like others said, the foot massage itself was decent, especially for the price and amount of time. I still have had a better foot massage elsewhere though. I didnt ever get to the point of feeling fully relaxed due to the open space and lack of privacy. People coming in wander right past you and talk to the masseuses and everyone is within a few feet of each other getting their massages. Its too public and its not a good space for having massages- seems a little makeshift. The tables in the room were full so I was given a seat on a kind of recliner that was not very comfortable. Once moved to an actual massage table for the rest of the massage after the reflexology part, it got a little better. There was some soft music on. read more

I took my boyfriend here for his first massage ever, and he was extremely satisfied with the masseuse. We received a full body 60 min. massage. They start you off with the feet and calves for 30 minutes and then from head to thighs for another 30 minutes. The ambience was lacking a little and there is no privacy. It is pretty quiet and you can slightly hear the music. Overall, the service was wonderful and they are considerate to your comfort level- Gave them 25% tip :) There is also a point card they give you; if you come for ten 30-min massages, your 11th massage is free! Hi there stressed out Nova people! I first started coming to this place, due to the unavailability of massage envy and the convenience of this location. At first, I was a little skeptical and not sure what to expect. I get massages every two weeks and know what works and what doesn't. I've paid top dollar at places like the Red Door Spa, but decided to take a chance on this local place after a recommendation from a family member. Let me start off by saying, that it is a little different than what you may be used to... for a couple reasons: it's an open set up, (although you can ask for a private session), the therapists there don't speak English perfectly, you don't take your clothes off for the massage (so wear something comfortable), it's a very Asian theme (atmosphere, music, and it if there's a body part you are uncomfortable with them touching (aka glutes), I recommend telling them before you get started. If you can get over those things, the quality of the massage is really spectacular. I have a lot of massages but for whatever reason their style is truly wonderful and incredibly helpful to anyone who works in an office or just needs some R&R! And the price is way below other places of the same quality, so I am able to go much more often, which helps tremendously. I recommend this place to literally, anyone. I'm a private room, clothes off, massage type of girl. I was surprised to find that this place had no privacy (other than partitions) and we keep our clothes on. I bought a groupon for $45, thinking that I was getting a deal, but I believe they charge $45 for massages anyway. The only extra I got with the deal was a foot bath. The first 30 minutes was spent on a plushy massage chair with my feet in a tub and then getting my feet and calves massaged, and then the next 30 on a massage table. Granted, the technician was good, but this place is cheap and you get less perks for it. I sort of want to keep this place a secret. It's great. If you're looking for a luxury spa, then this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a cheap Chinese massage place--clothes on, no frills, deep tissue massage--then this is a fantastic place. It's clean and comfortable. Yes, it's an open space (there are no individual rooms), and no, there's no trickling water sounds or oil massage. But if your back or legs are sore, their staff will do a great job massaging your tired muscles. I have had truly excellent massages here, and as someone who used to live in Asia and has had more than a few massages, I have been very pleased. The masseur is precise and skilled, and really works through the knots in my neck, shoulders, and back. Cheap, cheerful. Friendly staff, and I've always been able to get a massage without waiting. I have never written a negative review. I have written a lot of positive. However my experience warrants a negative review. I took my daughter as a treat. It was terrible. The people who worked at the store were rude when we walked in. The "massage" chair was broken which was unfortunate because it was very uncomfortable to sit on the rollers when they did not work. The massage was awful I literally have a large bruise on my foot and a burn from the extremely hot towel they put on my foot. My daughters chair was also broken. When I went to tip I gave 15 percent, which was generous given the service, and the technician yelled at me. My daughter was horrified and what was supposed to be nice day was a nightmare. Bare bones Chinese place, one big room with reflexology chairs that convert to a table for massage, they also have massage chairs for seated back neck shoulder massage. It's a good location with places to eat close by as well as nail shops and a hair salon. If your looking for a spa type experience or a wellness center with private rooms, not the place. However For that I recommend waterfalls wellness in Vienna. Relax-rite is clothes on Chinese acupressure, and they are good at it. They also offer a foot soak/massage combo. Arrived and told that my feet would need to soak for 15 minutes, then 15 minute foot massage, and then 30 minute deep tissue. Although it did take me a while to figure out where this was, it was worth the wait! I recognized a few familiar faces and met new ones and was greeted outside by the owner. He told me that it was only $55 for one hour- which is DEFINITELY a steal compared to most massage places in nova.
