Massage - 5 stars Restaurant - 4 stars Spa facilities - 3 stars The layout can be confusing - when we arrived from the restaurant side, the small desk was empty, but someone arrived shortly. You're led down the hall to take off your shoes, then go down a flight of steps to the main spa check in area and entrance to the locker rooms. One thing I'll say is you leave your modesty at the door when you enter an Asian spa. The hot tub/steam rooms are birthday suit only. I didn't check out all the different rooms (too many people in the clay ball room). Got a 60 min massage with Ping, who was awesome! Did I feel like a naked newborn calf getting massaged for slaughter on an operating table? A little bit. Felt like happy jello when I rolled out of there. The Northern Kitchen next door is the best post-spa spot with all your comforting Chinese classics. We got the beef noodle soup, fried chicken wings (so good!), and salt and pepper squid. The spa facilities are usually $58 but it's $40 right now for a holiday special, so it's worth checking out if you're looking for a relaxing weekend activity to get out of the Minnesota cold! read more

I really wanted to like this place but it was not for a germaphobe like me... i was so excited to lay in the clay balls until i started to sweat and started to wonder how many people's sweat i'm laying in. we went on mother's day and luckily it was half off ($30) for their grand opening special bc charging $60 is actually wild. staff was all over the place and kept leaving without notice to do something else. i'm curious how often the sauna room are cleaned and to what extent especially the clay ball room. call me a karen at this point but i was really sad to not enjoy my time here. it was super loud and not very relaxing. i will say the rooms were beautiful!! would probably have enjoyed it a little bit more if it wasn't so busy. gave it 2 stars bc my mom enjoyed her day and that's what matters! read more

I went Saturday afternoon, I went through the restaurant door in the front of the strip mall. No one was there in the restaurant and the massage booth, I waited for about 5 minutes, still no one, I checked the address and it said to drive to the back. I drove to the back of the building, and there was a door directly to the spa area. However my friends said they just walked by the massage booth from the restaurant to get to the spa, but there were no signs indicating where to go or something that notifies staff if a person is there. It was rather empty when I went, so it was pretty quiet, they have a water fountain in the hall which was nice background noise when you're in the rooms. The rooms are what I expected, and hoped for, there was one room at the end, which didn't have info and I was not sure what it was for. I assumed a cold room that wasn't on?.. there are rooms that look like little ovens, which I was not sure what they were for, I just sat with friends and chatted there. There were nice lounge chairs that I didn't use. I used the hot tub, the worker came and turned on the hot tub jets for me and asked if it was hot enough. They had a water cooler, which was good as I forgot my water. I paid after I was getting ready to leave. They took my kets in exchange for a locker key and gave it back after I returned the key and paid. Overall, I liked it, it could be a different story if it was busy, since it is not a large facility. read more

I wanted to love the place but nothing felt relaxing to me. Aside from the clay and salt rooms, everything else was just "meh." The massage was really uncomfortable, and someone came in the middle of my massage and turned on the lights and left the door ajar. Even with the door closed I could hear all the conversation in the hall and rooms around me. The walls are extremely thin. Also, there appeared to be only one restroom for the entire establishment, including the restaurant attached. Good for a one time experience. One star for the two nice ladies at the front desk, and one star for the clay room. read more

10/10 ! really want to gatekeep this place because i don't want it to be busy when i go back. Definitely check this place out it was fantastic. We used the spa area first all the different rooms were amazing. I'll mention that each room addresses different areas/ailments/relaxation - they have it all listed on each room as well for your knowledge. And then of course we also got a massage. I play tennis and get some bad knots my gal was so good omg. Lastly we just got back from Japan in nov and was craving something like an Onsen...and they the best wet steam room and a couple of spa tubs. (Please read the rules-it helps keep things clean) but It was fantastic omg. We also tried the food once we were done and it was delicious. The lychee iced tea . First of all, I apologize for the long review and for my poor grammars or any confusions that doesn't make sense to you. I hate writing bad reviews but I really wanted to give my honest opinions and experiences. When this place first-opened, my girls and I checked it out. Our experiences wasn't all that great. My locker was stuck and the owners said it was my fault. They claimed that my bag in my locker was "too big". I was able to opened it multiples of time before it got stuck. Also, my locker wasn't the only one that got stuck. A few ladies got theirs stuck too after mine and their bag wasn't "big" either. One of my girls asked if they had any more water cause the water dispenser ran out of water. The owners looked at the dispenser and turned back to her and said that they don't have any more water. She didn't offer to refill the dispenser with more water. And I kept stating "owners" because there are more than 1 owners there during all this and no one did anything about it. I gave them the benefit of doubt, thinking that since they just opened, they're still "trying to figure things out." Therefore, I gave it couple of more months before trying it again. Recently, my girls and I went back. This time we went at 9pm. The door was locked and the owner came and opened the door. We asked her if the spa was still open 24/7 because we were confused that the door was locked, thinking that they're now "closed". The owner said they're opened 24/7 and the price for 24/7 is $55 if we stay pass 10:30pm. Usually, we pay after we're done but this time, she had us pay right when we got in. Therefore, my girl and I paid $55 + tax and tips on top of that right when we got in. Later, some of our girls arrived and they didn't have to pay right away. We were in the pool and the owner came and told us that we can't be in the pool with our swimsuits on. They no longer allow customers to wear their swimsuits in the pool. Therefore, we all left right at 10:30pm. My friends who came after and didn't pay right away, paid $35 at checkout. My friend and I asked for a $20 refund because we paid $55 when we got there. The owner wouldn't give us a refund at all. At this point, I am very disappointed with this place and will not be returning back. The customer services overall is not even a 1/10. It's a 0/10. I was really upset with their services and attitudes towards me. The owners were not sorry about it and was not willing to work anything out with my friends and I. This spa is a pleasant surprise! Great concept in the heart of Bloomington MN! There are plenty of sauna room options, massage and a restaurant to enjoy a nice Asian meal. There are some rules to follow to keep the experience tranquil and authentic to a true Asian spa experience such as no shoes, you are only able to wear your birthday suit into the water room and to keep talking to a limit. I visited on a holiday and while there was average traffic in the Spa everyone was friendly and helpful. My feedback to the owners regarding the no shoe policy, I noticed a lot of hair on the floor through the heated floor facility. If guests are required to keep shoes off, please ensure that there is routine floor cleaning throughout the day. Also in the ladies changing quarters notice dust in many parts of that area. I only mention it because it wasn't lite it was pretty thick as though it had been there a while so it made me question, how clean is this facility. While I didn't find any other evidence of anything else not clean, it's still a fairly new expansion to the restaurant and I didn't visit all parts of the facility. Also the staff was very nice and pleasant but during my massage and time in the sauna rooms, there was a lot of talking and chattering from staff so that was a bit disturbing for it to be a written rule on some signs and appear it applied to the customers and not the staff. During my massage I was positioned in one of the rooms closest to the front door near the restaurant and noted my masseuse left my door ajar during retrieving the stones which made me a bit uneased as I did hear customers (male) voices which easily could have walk pass and saw my half nude covered body. My last comment is the exterior areas you could see from the inside to outside the establishment had a lot of trash that I feel could be an easy fix if someone with the staff could clean up outside where from the inside is visible to your guest, as it took away from the experience of such a unique and tranquil experience. The food in the restaurant is very good but the customer service is awful both in the restaurant and the spa. There was only one guy working at the restaurant taking orders, serving, and busing. When I wanted to go to the spa, I was directed down some steps and told to put my shoes in the lockers. I was given no further instruction. The lockers are locked and there's a desk across from them where I assumed you pay the entrance fee and get your keys and spa clothes.. I stood in this line while other customers payed for their services. I thought maybe this isn't the right place for me to go bc everyone was paying for services they already had. So I approach a young lady folding clean clothes and ask her if this was the desk where I pay to enter. She says yes, wait there. So I wait for 20min while the woman behind the desk helps 4 costumers. When it's finally my turn, she tells me I was suppose to go directly into the spa, past the shoe lockers?? I had planned to have a 1hr massage and leave. I'm a new mom and was already feeling anxious and stressed being away from my baby, the time wasted waiting in line really put me over the edge so I just walked out. I don't normally write reviews, but I had to write one! I couldn't believe the negative reviews and it almost made me not want to go, which would have been a huge mistake! This place was wonderful! If you like saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, massages, then you'll love this place! It was extremely clean. You take your shoes off and put them in a locker and my feet never felt any specks of dust or anything! They also give you clothes to wear while you're there and I think that keeps everything super clean as well because then no one is bringing in germs from their shoes or clothes. My husband and I had a 90 minute massage and it was incredible! It was the best massage we've ever had and we've had many! They massaged for an entire 90 minutes, they didn't take time off in the beginning or end for dressing, they started a clock when the massage began and they gave a massage for the entire 90 minutes.
