I was heartened to see the COVID19 precautions: all clients and staff must remain masked in the salon; extra time allotted between appointments for sanitizing the rooms; temp scan, hand sanitizer, and COVID symptom questionnaire when you enter. Despite all of that I started to have an anxiety attack as I disrobed for my first close contact with a person not in my bubble for four months. Being massaged in a mask was weird but not as uncomfortable as I expected and it was so necessary for healing my mind and body during these anxious times.
