If I were to pick one word to describe Anton and his dad, and the quality of the work they do, I would choose "INTEGRITY". I have had two houses build over time and did my share dealing with sub-contractors, I know that many of you have been there as well. After two agonizing weeks (I'll spare you the details) trying to find someone to tile two floors and install new toilets, Anton came over to look at the job and to give me an estimate. It took all but 5 minutes to seal the deal with a handshake because I knew that I found the right guy's for the job. Reliable; when they say 8 am, at 10 till the truck is parked in front of your house, and at 8 o'clock sharp your door bel will ring. Precision and craftsmanship; mind you, I am an anal retentive type who suffers from being very OCD, but found myself way out of my league. They are meticulous and extremely detailed oriented, ask questions and discuss options, have initiative and even added some materials and replaced some hardware they found inadequate. When the job was done, they cleaned up my house and hauled out all the debris! I found them kind and trustworthy and they treated my house as if it were theirs. Their pricing is very reasonable and competitive and you will definitely get what you paid for. These folks take lot of pride in what they do and it shows. I have already signed up for a kitchen remodel in June, and possibly have laminate installed in my 3 bedrooms later this year by these two gentlemen. And as a huge bonus, I am done with the agonizing, and often frustrating search to find reliable people for my home improvement projects. It's hard to find other superlatives that are not mentioned for Anton and Reliable Men Const. "...He's professional, knowledgeable, honest, fair, punctual and all around a good guy." All true but one new thing I will add, very smart and a great problem solver. After having RMC clean and re-grout our shower (for about 1/3 the estimate of others), install some tile outside for a herb garden, I asked him to look at my furo hot tub which had been out of service for several years. This is not a standard hot tub so this was a set of unique problems. These were electrical and plumbing related within a very small space. I couldn't find either a hot tub repair service, electrician or plumber to take on the job. These unique problems yielded more unique problems but Anton did not slow down or stop until he had the tub up and running. I was amazed at his dexterity, concentration and problem solving abilities. This was small job compared to the construction work they do but it speaks to Anton's commitment and reliability. Although this took considerably longer than I expected (he had to make several trips to stores to find the materials and tools he needed) he stuck to his original bid. Several weeks later a new leak presented itself. Anton came back and found the plastic nib that failed and replaced it with a metal one. No extra charge. Anton will do more work for me in the future. It is comforting to know that I have someone reliable, honest, skillful to keep my house working. p.s. I forgot that I also had Anton look at a hot water heater that was not producing hot water. After having two water heater repair companies suggest a new water heater for between $3k-$5k, he saw a wire not connected. He reconnected and saved me thousands of dollars and a very big headache. We reached out to RMC after reading the positive reviews to complete a principle bathroom retrofit that included: installing a new vanity, toilet, bath fans, glass pocket door, electrical, framing/drywall/flooring work and creating a tiled curbless shower area. We had an idea of the project cost so once we met with Anton in person who spoke with us in detail about our needs and presented additional pictures of their work, we didn't hesitate to contract with him when his bid aligned with what we budgeted. The project started and ran per his commitment to us. There were no surprises. Anton is an exceptional communicator and problem solver. He also appreciates updates from the homeowner. When unforeseen things came up, he was highly flexible and willing to work through solutions based on what we wanted. We were extremely impressed with the skill level and attention to detail applied to all aspects of our project - from components you don't see behind walls to material cuts to caulking to cleaning the work area each day. Their overall work is extremely clean and what you hope to get when hiring a contractor. As our project was wrapping up, Anton started another project yet he maintained the same standards with us despite the competing priorities. We hired Reliable Men Construction to replace all of the baseboards, trim, and molding in our house. Anton and his crew are absolutely fantastic at what they do. Their work is meticulous and precise, and Anton checked in with us every step of the way and at the end of every day to make sure we were happy with the work. At the end of the first day, we realized that we weren't loving the dimensions of the baseboards so Anton talked us through different options and didn't hesitate to return the materials and pick up the new size the next morning. He just wanted to make sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the job. When it came time to replace the crown molding with something more modern, Anton sketched out several options after asking us questions about what we had in mind. He ended up installing a beautiful, modern, and satisfyingly symmetrical crown molding that reflected exactly what he had sketched out. Beyond the excellent work, Anton and his crew were a pleasure to have in our home. They were prompt, polite, and careful to limit the mess. Anton is very responsive and professional. We had a 29 inch cut out in our cabinet top and the cabinet facing. The standard cutout for a range is 30 inches. We have an Italian tile counter top. I knew it was a custom job that I would not be able to do myself. I reached out to Reliable Men because of the reviews from others and pictures of projects they had done for others. Anton responded to my request for service promptly and was able to work me into their schedule. They came when they said they would. They finished the cutting of the tile, the cabinet facing, square and to the exact measurement in all places. The tile edges were polished and smoothed in a professional manner. Working on an existing cabinet and counter that is already cut and has years on it is a lot more difficult than laying a new tile counter top. They left the kitchen clean as if they had never even been there. The result was exactly what I asked for but way more than I thought could be done. No surprises with the price either, exactly what we agreed upon. I will definitely contact them again when I need a professional job done for my house. I hired Reliable Men Construction initially to install tile in a tub-shower surround and bathroom floor, as part of a basement remodel in an older home. Their price was considerably lower than others, and their work was excellent. Later I asked them to do additional tasks as my project continued, including smoothing and flattening the concrete slabs in basement and garage areas prior to adding flooring and other work. They also did a backsplash in a small kitchen area. All work was beautifully and meticulously done. Anton and his father have been polite, punctual and respectful at all times. Anton communicated in a timely and accurate manner. He would call me to check on details, sometimes from the store, making sure I was well informed and satisfied with each choice. We were looking for a contractor to do a bathroom remodel and after scouring different contractors, we came across Reliable Men. They had all 5 star reviews. We left a text to see about a quote. We got an immediate response and Anton came out 2 days later to look at the job and give us a quote. He gave us the quote the next day. It seemed very fair and we decided to give him the go ahead. I have nothing but good things to say about Anton and Reliable Men Construction. I had a full master bathroom redone and Anton was great. He is very knowledgeable of his craft and was always very prompt at responding to questions/concerns. His crew was on time every day and the project, as a whole went according to schedule. There were 2 delays that were outside his control when the plumber had to reschedule by a day and the final inspection got moved by 1 day by the inspector. He and his crew were very courteous of my property and were very good about cleaning up after themselves. It is very clear that Anton's greatest concern is customer satisfaction. My master bathroom is 30 years old and one side of shower wall had a stack of glass bricks. The grouts between bricks had been degraded and suffered water leaking. Anton and his team removed all glass bricks very carefully in order to install a brand new curb cap and glass walls. They also did re-grout on the other side of shower wall and entire floor of bathroom. They even fixed a few cracked floor tiles using extra tiles on hand and sliced pieces from cracked tiles.
