We had a large stump remove from our front lawn. They did a really nice job after the removal by dressing up the local area and cleaning up the street and sidewalk when they were done. Also very curtious respectful. Thank you Lori and the service team! read more

I had the owner come to my home to give me an estimate on a tree that I needed to be saved from falling. Frank seemed to be very knowledgeable and sincere. He told me of a solution that his company could provide. He said he needed a day to get prices on materials and would get back to me in a day. I was very pleased with him and looked forward to getting this resolved quickly as another storm could potentially cause the tree to fall completely over. Well no call back no e mail ... nothing. I Call his company spoke to a answering service 3 times and they understood and relayed my message. So POOR and should be called "Unreliable Tree Service" what a joke. read more

Wanted to support a local business but after 2 calls and a email I give up . Shouldn't have to harass a business to pay for a service .

I called and left two messages with the answering service (my first call was during regular business hours-not sure why it went to an answering service). They did not call me back for over a week. Told me they do estimates on Monday and Tuesday, did not tell me which of those days they were going to come nor would they commit to a time (or time frame) they would come give an estimate. They were a no-show both days. It shouldn't be that difficult to get an estimate and hire a company. Not sure how they're in business. read more

Just had 4 big trees removed plus some smaller trees too. Everyone was professional and clean. They did everything promised . Even with some confusion about some hemlocks they removed everything I needed. Would definetly recommend them. Great job! read more

Should be called UNreliable tree service!! Told me they were coming on Tuesday to grind a stump and take down a tree. Took off from work and they never show or call so I call them and they tell me they are coming on Wednesday. They don't show and no phone call. I call them and they say they are coming on Thursday. They don't show and no phone call. I call and they say they are coming on Friday first thing in the morning. Husband takes off from work. They call in the morning and said they couldn't make it. I told them either they come that day or don't bother coming. Never showed and no phone call. I guess business is so great they can afford to treat their customers like crap. read more

They damaged my shed while removing tree. Never came back to repair and stopped returning calls. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and after 2 years they responded to the complaint with a fictional story about how a tree limb was on my shed before they began the work and that I refused to come out to look at it. I was at work while they removed the tree. My wife was home and no one offered to show her anything. Do not use this company. They are unprofessional and unreliable! read more

i agree, they ripped us off big time w tree removal after SANDY.(even 3 months later) and we practically had to beg them to come. they scheduled appt and didnt show the fist time (didnt call either) and then, they left US with most of the clean up. the arrangement was tree removal including all the clean up. Reliable Tree Service did a really fine job removing and pruning trees in my backyard. The crew arrived on time and the lead man discussed work expectations. He was professional and respectful. From start to finish....it was great. This is the third time we have used Reliable Tree Service and will never consider using any other tree removal company. I asked if they could put a few limbs to the side for firewood. No problem...they even cut it into small pieces. A very good experience! read more

Horrible company The owner showed up with 5Trucks and 30 "employees" -day laborers in this dangerous profession, that should have been my first red flag anyone who would hire novices to do such dangerous work is an untrustworthy individual. I used this company after Hurricane Sandy i was over charged by more than $3000!, they completely price gouged me during a desperate time!! The owner Frank calls himself an Arborist he is a Dirt Bag Glorified Landscaper who was just out to land the next house in my area to rip off, he went house to house getting accounts and never finishing the original job he started. He demanded payment asap as he knew homeowners had insurance claims to settle. I have lived in this community for over 50 years and I have owned a number of homes and dealt with hundreds of lumbers, electricians landscapers etc., I have never seen such a complete SCAM artist. I am a survivor of Sandy and a VICTIM of Reliable Tree. Its sad that he lives in this community and his family has to endure his shoddy reputation=SHAME ON YOU!! We are contacting a lawyer to resolve his incompleted work at my home and my neighbors. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! read more
