I love this church family. The Word is faithfully taught and preached, the love of Jesus is reflected in how everyone loves and serves one another, and there is a wide array of ministries available for anyone who wants to connect more and build relationships. The kids' ministry is thriving! I also love our familial support of overseas missions and church planting. This diverse family and Gospel-centered community welcomes all and loves all to be their truest selves in Christ.

Having attended Reliance for over a year, I have found myself embraced and championed by some of the most Christ-like people I've ever met. The body of Christ here is loving and supportive, willing to go the extra mile to serve the men, women, and children that attend our multiple services throughout the week. I am grateful for my church and the opportunities I've been given to worship alongside these wonderful people. I love my church.

Ask the Community - Reliance Church

Tomorrow is my first time for my sister and I too visit. I was wondering what the youth group is like? How should I dress? I am use to my present church in SD called The Anchor Church where we are formal?

Hi, Jacob! We are so glad you and your sister are coming to Reliance! We are a casual church, so jeans and a button-down shirt is what you'll see a lot of people wearing. The youth group is wonderful. Our leaders invest in our students both…

The grounds were breathtaking and the people were friendly enough (i am typically standoff-ish so no judgement on them). In fact I appreciate them not being overly friendly and risk making me uncomfortable. I love the amount of structure they have put into their collective efforts within this building and I feel that it is an adequate reflection of the values of a truly Bible believing church. Its enough structure without being "legalistic". I saw some rather one sides one star reviews of this place and am glad I had the opportunity to come and see for myself and form my own opinion. I have been formally rebuked in my hometown and by the local churches in that area and today was my first time in a new church in a new community and though I was absolutely nervous showing up (and had to fight with myself to stay) I am glad I did. Well worth the effort and an absolute pleasure to say the least. Looking forward to mens bible study group tomorrow!

You go to church expecting the staff to have some moral integrity, but the culture at this place feels completely broken. I was there for the Friday night Steadfast service on May 15th, and it was one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever sat through. One of the staff pastors actually stood up in front of the whole congregation and read a resignation letter out loud, publicly announcing a massive adultery scandal. You would think a failure like that would force a serious cleanup. Instead, the rest of the senior leadership is still sitting comfortably in their positions like nothing happened. There has been zero real accountability or effort to fix the underlying issues from the top down. If you care about transparency and want a church where the leaders actually hold themselves accountable, I would definitely keep looking.

Going from knowing the whole church to trying to find another church to call home was challenging. But since our first visit in 2019, God gave us the peace to know that we'd return again. 2021 came & so did the church hunt. We tried a few but we kept coming back to The Bridge. The more we went, the more it felt like home. Fast forward to today & I've made so many new friends & spiritual sisters. I've grown in my walk, I've relearned new things about the stories and scriptures I'd read my entire life! Pastor Gary & Pastor Zac do such an amazing job at delivering the Word, focusing on the scripture & not sharing their own thoughts and opinions. The youth & children's church are absolutely amazing as well! Pastor Corey & Amber are igniting revival in this generation! Rancho Christian private school. They market themselves as "Christ centered", but in reality,…read morethey've started to delve away from that. As someone who has been around the school for 5+ years, I can confidently say that things are going and have gone downhill. The education itself isn't bad, but for the majority of students, the curriculum isn't as challenging as other schools. The biggest issue, though, is the church and leadership that isn't in the right place. Scott Treadway has said some things that don't reflect Jesus or the Bible. In fact, he has said, and I quote (paraphrasing, because I didn't bother to hear that tomfoolery) "The Bible is just some stories". I genuinely can't comprehend how he could say something like that. However, he gets away with it by his speech and use of words. News flash buddy; you can't just say something and then tie Jesus into it. That doesn't make it right. You preach Jesus' word, not your own. The church is a mess too. It used to have "Christian" in the name, but they took that out. Why guys? There was also an incident regarding a church group that was about including all races and everyone is equal and loved by God. Sounds good, right? Well, it would be if not for them only allowing white people to attend to hear the message. I wish this wasn't true, but sadly, it's happened. I pray that God may help or remove Scott from power, as he's not doing well.

The Bible is precious. A church & its sermons should be preoccupied with God's Word which Scripture…read moresays is "sharper than a two edged sword".... This church is NOT "preoccupied" w/God's Word. Rather, the pastor is far too fond of his views & coddling away from discomfort. If you are looking for a place to hear a pastor's view of life & "feel" comfortable .... go here! If instead ready to be challenged & transformed by the renewing of your mind via God's Precious Word go elsewhere. Honestly, the fact they don't call it Rancho "Christian" church is appropriate from what I didn't hear there. Christianity is centered on Jesus Christ & the magnitude of Father God's sacrifice of His Son... there are expectations related to that sacrifice. (No side-stepping it). "Work out your salvation w/fear & trembling" is not to be treated as an optional side show. Disappointing
